The Virgo/Pisces opposition relates to the concept of “Serve or Suffer.” Gearing up for the March Eclipse pairing in Virgo/Pisces has been very hard on Sagittarius celebrities; namely Anna Nicole Smith (Nov 28) and Britney Spears (Dec 2), not to mention Brad Pitt (Dec 18) who won the Golden Globe but didn’t even get nominated by the Academy. The Eclipses should also add drama and a big element of the unexpected to this years Academy Awards which takes place 1 week before the Virgo Total Lunar Eclipse on March 3/4. Eclipse effects can be felt up to two months before and after they take place.  This Complete Lunar Eclipse on March 3/4 is extremely emotional and irrational (as evidenced by Britneys impulsive buzz job). My best suggestion for heading such drama off at the pass is Hypnotherapy and Meditation work. When you go right to the source, you can solve the problem before it actually IS a problem.
Because this year the Oscars take place during the Retrograde of Mercury, nostalgia is more likely than usual. For this reason, my money is on Martin Scorsese to finally win an Oscar nod. I will also favor movies that refer to or tell tales about the past over contemporary stories. This means that “The Queen,” and “The Last King of Scotland” Should both walk away with honors. Looking at the chart for Oscar himself, Mercury is elevated - no surprise there. What hits me about this is that, at the deepest level Oscar loves communication, genius and the fascination for a brilliant and technical expression of ideas. While he is Retrograde in Pisces right now, he reflects on the past and the history of himself. Get ready for a long and nostalgic awards show. Not only that, but the upcoming Solar Eclipse in Pisces on March 18/19 sets the stage for some reprecussions and ripples that will be felt around March 30 as Mercury walks through the Lunar Doorway and then again April 9th when Mercury walks through the Solar Doorway that the Eclipse’s have opened up. We can expect a twisting and turning of fate and information around this time. More information about Anna Nicole and Britney is also very likely at these times.
I am going to go out on a limb here and make Oscar picks based solely on the Eclipse effects. I should note here that I have seen almost none of these movies, but here are my picks nonetheless.
