Mercury in the Shadow on May 30th means that we are now in the cycle where we are given Advance Notice of what will be coming and happening during the upcoming Retrograde of Mercury from June 16-July 10. During the 3 weeks of Retrograde the degrees of 2-12 Cancer are getting a serious workout. Anybody reading this with planets between 29 Gemini - 15 Degrees Cancer will feel this transit DIRECTLY and be at the center of the action - especially planets between 29 Gemini - 5 Cancer and 11-15 Cancer.

An example: the USA’s twhared terroism attack on JFK took place just after Mercury entered the shadow on the 30th of May. Since this shadow is (unfortunately) just a Preview of Coming Attractions over the next 2 months, and since the USA’s Sun falls within the highlighed degrees of Cancer for this cycle we should EXPECT to see and hear more about this over the coming 2 months. Actually: for the rest of this year because the USA’s Sun is getting (other) major transits well into 2008. As an entity the Sun of the country represents its leadership (presidency). Never before in history has the time been so ripe for a woman to take office. While it would be premature for me to predict Hilary for president - I will predict that our next president could be a woman because for the first time in history the climate is right for it, and the planets predict a fight of enormous proportions (I cannot overstate how enormous this fight will be) over issues exactly like this one. If there is truly any such thing as Evil (and the Buddhists would say that there is not) then it is the force of Evil that has been repressing the divine feminine for the past several centuries. Regardless of Good and Evil - it is the face of duality and our understanding of IT and the polarity of Gender that is now in need of, and at the beginnings of PROFOUND change.

Personally and individually the issues need not be crises or problems (like this USA transit), but they will be problems if bad seeds have been sown. This is the case for us in the USA - these transit related events are the results of bad seeds being sewn. This transit harks back to 2000 when Saturn entered Cancer under a Void Moon. This cycle threw the masses of our population into a deeply unconscious state. Now it is time to begin to wake up. The events will be as dramatic as they need to be in order to awaken those who have been asleep. This is the emerging of the Divine Feminine - and she can be fierce in her fury. But only for those who would repress, control or put her down.
