Every year there are 2 pairs of Eclpses, each pair is made up of a Solar and a Lunar Eclipse and they take place 6 months apart from each other. This year both Lunar Eclipse’s are TOTAL ECLIPSES. This makes them intensely emotional, and it also makes them create very unpredictable behavior among crowds, the public and groups of people.
This years Eclpses have been focused in Virgo and Pisces. Together these signs represent: service, healthcare, the food supply, pets, routines, employees, old folks, mysticism, spirituality, religion, compassion, health, healthcare and physical, mental and emotional well-being. This effects all of us - not just Pisces and Virgo people.
The Recent newstories about the Football player arrested for holding Dog Fights and the inhumane treatment/enslavement of the dogs is connected to this extremely emotional Pisces Lunar Eclipse. This eclipse highlights issues that will be increasing and continuing for the next 3 years since it is closely tied to the Movement of Saturn into Virgo a few days later. Hidden issues and information about the humane/inhumane treatment of those connected to hierarchy and situations that have strong ‘figureheads’ will continue to be revealed. Balance and fairness of the lifeforce is a main issue at stake now. There are many forms of enslavement, and these are now being revealed and brought to the surface for review, release and clearing. This includes bondage to work situations that are unjust and any other form of conditional treatment, repression, exploitation and abuse of others for the hierarchical benefit of those at the ‘top.’ I know this sounds a lot like all of our society - and in some ways it is. Heirarchy is contrary to spiritual law. Leadership is a different thing altogether. Forms of opression and control that are rigid and controlling and leave no room for individual movement and freedom of expression are ripe for upheaval - and this is just what we will get over the coming years. This current Eclipse simply serves to highlight the problem areas.
This Eclipse is tied to the current Retrograde Venus. Personally, we can expect information to continue to be revealed about unfair and abusive situations. Ultimately it is up to each one of us to take a stand for something different and better and to simply not allow abuses to continue. I am not advocating warfare, but rather resisting and resigning from that which is unjust. Without support abuses cannot continue, without aquiescence intimidation cannot exist. It is up to each of us to take a stand as to what we believe in and to spend our support accordingly. Probably the most power any of us has is in our wallets - spend on those who represent fairness and balance across all levels of society. It may be cheap to shop at Wal-Mart but it destroys whole communities. Please take extra care to spend your money in socially responsible ways. Together we have more power than any of us can possibly realize alone.

Dear Aura,
I realize that I am putting a lot of undue pressure onto you in actually expecting an answer that may take much time and energy from your already, more than busy schedule. That being said, I will ask away and if you do not have the time to answer, I certainly understand, My question is this: The upcoming lunar eclipse in Picses on August 28 is exactly “hitting” my North node and Mars in Virgo in the Fourth house. Need I say that I have been going through my own personal “hell” in regards to family and my true purpose in “being” here? I feel that I must not only “move on”, but in fact, have already done so, excepting the guilt and sense of “loss” My “children” are well grown and doing very well in the material and “worldly” sense. My grandchildren are the stumbling blocks, although they are doing beautifully. I do feel that this is my lower ego kicking in…but, still not sure. The following may sound quite insane, but, I feel that I have moved (and with great difficulty,) to a different dimension ( OK, you may now call me and this “crazy time”…I sure as heck do.) I am keeping this as short as I can and that may make it dificult for you to give an answer. Frankly, anything that you may offer may give me some hints that I may then take further in my own “quest”.

I am always hesitant to answer questions without seeing the whole chart.
However, as a general rule those aspects:
NN conjunct Mars in the 4th House
Triggered by the passing Aug 28 Total Lunar Eclipse
This would represent a certain picture that relates to getting you on your spiritual path and taking the actions that are consistent with that path. Mother issues, competition and/or resistance to a parental authority figure would be the obstacles you may face. If you are having a difficult time with this that comes from:
A) North Node feels exposed by the Eclipse and makes you feel judged (or you judge yourself) for having ‘measured up’ or not. This is especially true if Saturn sits between 1-7 degrees of any sign.
B) Energy levels, resistance and any blockage to your energy, sexuality or life force is making itself felt so that you can clear the obstacles and get on with your life purpose. Maybe an obstacle is getting removed from your life.
Everything is energy, you can choose to look at it as a positive or a negative, and you can choose to use it as such. Sometimes you need assistance from an outside source to help you do that.

Funny that you should mention Kundalini…have been experiencing dramatic and difficult (to me) kundalini experiences…why people actually desire these experiences is well beyond my understanding.
Most likely they do not know what they are going to experience!!

I know Im not suppose to fear this eclipse, but Im on pins and needles! Im a Pisces with Leo Rising & Sun Ruling with my Sun in Pisces and Moon in Taurus(March 5, 1076 4:50pm Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA).First I was nervous (out side and inside) about the eclipse, then I was like “chill out”, now Im chilled out (outside) and worried (inside). I had my chart done twice but am confused about all the degree stuff. During last years eclipses I got pregnant and moved to another state to live with my mother after having been independent for 12 years. So needless to say Im eagle eyed about what this one (8/28)will bring (with another around the corner!-9/11), but Im guessing it will be something I cannot fathom. Just want those out there to know that the astrologers are right.What ever happens will move you forward and Its for the best! Getting pregnant and living with mom was a harrowing experience, but my son is the best thing that ever happened to me! I read dozens of horoscopes and they usually say the same thing, but I can’t seem to will myself into action. There is a mind/body connection missing.I know Im in the wrong job, living in the wrong place, making the wrong amount of money for what Im worth & have all of these ‘talents’ Im not using.And accord to a physic I saw some time ago Im with the wrong guy! Funny part is Im fine with the way things are (especially with the guy) even though I know Im a fish out of water. I feel like it could all last forever or end tomrrow (not life in general but my circumstances). Im also afraind that Im so cozy here like a baby bird on a ledge who will soon be pushed off but has no clue when. Im not in my true place…though astrology tells me I will be on my way in November and get there in Feb 2008. So why isnt that knowledge enough to keep me calm?Each time I gather enough gutz to go into action(about changes Im suppose to make) Im shut down majorly by money, family, ego or other obstacles…which in turn are all my own. For example…I invest much time into thinking of ways I can get to go exercise (particularly yoga) and then wham! Im working earlier and no class is early enough to go to before work, lunch is either long enough to eat or exercise, but not both ( I tired for 3 months),Im paying for babysitter and it’s double the $ if I go after work.Then I think about putting the baby to sleep and going but by then Im pooped!My mind says do it yourself at home, but I simply do not have that type of self motivation!Plus I live with a roomate who has teenagers and it is not calming for me to do yoga while screming teens IM and blare music while giggling over myspace (or maybe my ego does not want them to see me doing yoga)…Phew!Had to get that off my chest..Anyhoo…thanks for being around and I will try to chill out and enjoy your site!So I really just wanted to express thanks and gratitude to you astrology chick and to express myself. Advice is greatly appreciated (if time allows) but not necessary (as I seem to be getting the same advice and not able to take action or make use of any of it). My recommendation is to stop thinking about it. Thinking will only continue to tie you into tighter knots than you are already in - and that’s saying something! Einstien said that no problem can be solved at the same level of consciousness that created it.
