OK, I recently posted about Venus being Retrograde. She went retrograde on July 28th and will remain retrograde until Sept 9th.

The Retrograde of Venus - specifically tied to Saturn this time around - had a direct and devastating impact on the sub-prime mortgage industry. In fact, it was such a near-miss that most Americans have no idea how close our National economy came to a completely devastating upheaval. BUT - and this is a big but, our government bailed out the biggest sub-prime lender in the nation; Countrywide. Countrywide is bigger than Fanny Mae and Bernie Mac - maybe even bigger than the two of them combined. Countrywide is so big that if they fail they take our whole economy with them and cause international shockwaves. But things appear to be ok since the government gave many multi-millions of dollars to bail Countrywide out. Most Americans don’t even know this happened because the story never made it to the front page of the major news outlets. If you want to read up on it, just Google Countrywide - you’ll see the stories.

Many other small sub-prime mortgage companies quietly went out of business in the past two weeks - I mean dozens of them.

If you had been reading my blog, you would know that I’ve been talking about the housing market failing since last summer. If you had an Astrology Reading with me this year, I would have told you what impact this might have had on you personally and offered suggestions about how to make the most of it. If you can read between the lines here today then you may be able to tell that you are potentially primed for the greatest opportunity of your life. Or you could see disaster written on the walls - that interpretation is up to you. And it all depends on how this cycle is effecting your specific chart.

I just call em like I see em, and right now there are a major set of changes taking place. Ultimately this picture is more complicated than just what we are seeing this week. Stay tuned into September and October when Venus goes direct and then leaves her shadow. Overlapping this is the New Saturn cycle, the Eclipses and an upcoming Mars Retrograde. This is such a complex Astrological picture that we all need to pay close attention to it. I will be posting more about it.
