Apparently there was a service tax proposed to the Senate. The tax “which would have been assessed on two-dozen services from baby shoe bronzing and astrology to warehousing and environmental engineering” was killed by both the Senate and the House earlier this week according to one News Story.
Good news, for all service providers.
This news story just ran suggesting that the seasons actually DO effect personality – and has been proven by Science.

And the debate about Astrology and Science rages on.
My take is that Science itself isn’t really very scientific. Quantum physics itself has proven that the very act of observing an Experiment influences the outcome of the experiment. It us just a truth of human nature that we try to prove what we already believe. I believe in understanding human nature, this what Astrology helps us do.

But if you watch closely you will see a guy goofing around, pretending to be a Paparazzi photographer. You can hear the other guys getting upset at him too. Well, that guy is a friend named Dustin
Dusty is an almost always hilarious, and usually fearless Gemini, and this shot proves it. It is very fitting that this funny Gemini named Dustin should shine the limelight back on the Gemini Ruled profession of the Paparazzi. Brit is a Sagittarius, Gemini is her opposite sign (opposites rule relationships) and she surely seems to have a constant relationship with these shutter bugs. Certainly that relationship has lasted longer than her romances.
So, if the tabloids really want to delve into the heart of Britney’s relationship woes, it will be most revealing to look at the guys taking the pictures, as well as the girl in them.

We USE Astrology to find a good love match, or to open a business on a day that will bring us maximum success. We use astrology to avoid challenging times like this month’s Mars opposition to Jupiter conjunct Pluto: which is a win at all costs type of competition that will wreck the prize in it’s desperate need to WIN. We use Astrology to avoid falling in love with that person who will rip your heart out and leave it stranded, in pieces on the floor, in agonizing heartbreak.
But most of all we use Astrology for personal development (which has nothing to do with brain smarts by the way). Astrology is a tool, and like a hammer it is only as good as the person using it. A hammer in the hands of a skilled carpenter will build you a beautiful set of kitchen cabinets, but an 8 year old might break your favorite lamp. Most people know just enough to be dangerous.
The latest news is that Britney Spears is threatening Paris Hilton with an X-rated lesbian Sex video to be released to the Internet. Apparently Paris snubbed Brit at her recent LA birthday party. This angered Britney enough to start some sort of sex tape brawl with her.
But the real question for us Astrologers is ‘why now’ and the answer is that Mars Retrograde stirs up anger and increases frustration. The result is a short, explosive temper tantrum between celebrities. Oh, and let’s not forget that one of the things Mars rules is sex, and fights. He loves nothing better than a sex tape scandal, especially if it involves a cat fight. So, you can bet that Mars (in this case thousands of horny guys) are, right now, as we speak, eagerly watching the Internet for signs that this juicy tape is ready for their viewing pleasure.
This Astrologer expects the wait to be rewarded with nothing more eye-popping than a girl on girl kiss. If Brit had known it, my Astrology could have helped her avoid this mud-fight with Paris altogether with a yearly forecast Astrology Reading to look at what the year would bring. But now we all know, the year will have quite a ‘Bang’ for the pop star.
This story was published in Smithsonian Magazine about the Lost Ark of the Covenant and is really stirring up debate.
The whole conversation is mesmerizing – not because of the mystery of the Ark, but because of individual perspective. Most people believe what they want to believe. Some people think that Astrology is anti-bible and contrary to Christianity. And they will hold this belief no matter how many facts show that the Bible is filled with Astrological reference. For example the word Maziroth which is commonly used in the Bible, literally means the Zodiac and all its 12 houses. The Bible itself is a pretty stunning metaphor for the 12 signs of the Zodiac itself. And never mind the fact that the Bible is constantly saying ‘then they cast lots.’ Casting lots is a reference to a form of divination, like reading Tarot cards.
One guy followed me around once trying to give me a sermon about this, which I thought was funny. What was funniest of all was the look on his face after I told him I was Jewish, just like Jesus.

The thing that most American’s probably won’t get right away from the Headline is the subtext of this headline. The headline may sound kind of straight forward to us, but it isn’t, not to a British person anyway. I grew up in London, and half my family is British, so let me translate this: the very fact that this IS a headline says that it is shocking that Americans put more stock into religious beliefs than we do into scientific ones. This is NOT an attitude that British people share with Americans.
England (a Virgo) tends to value it’s smarts over it’s heart, while in America (a Cancer) the opposite is true. British people read this and shake their heads. American’s look at the English as snobs – but smart. I hate to burst anyone’s bubble but there are a lot of smart American’s and tons of dumb ignorant English people!
I don’t usually post things like this, but this is just too cool to miss, and if you’re anything like me you will be so excited you will want to jump up and down and kiss someone.

It is called the Kindle and it is like an Ipod for books. It is a very cool space saver and perfect for long flights when you want to read books and magazines without having to lug them around. And since I just learned how to read a 300 page book in 2 hours or less, I’m really likin’ this thing.

This movie: Zeitgeist is causing shock waves all over the internet right now, and for good reason.
