Of all the Political candidates charts I looked at when creating this Presidential Astrology forecast for 2008 - and I looked at all of them except the few that don’t look like they can even get past the primaries, here are the ones that look the best for Election day, Nov 4, 2008.
Democratic Candidate Prediction: Hillary Clinton - her transits are good enough to win the nomination at the Democratic Convetion and to win the presidency on November 4th. Most helpful to Hilary throughout the whole election season is the ABSENCE of tough Saturn transits, which keep her relatively free of problems during her campaign. Her best bet for running mate is John Edwards, but I still bank on Barack Obama being well-heard and even more well-seen this political season, and those of the future - but Edwards has better transits than him this year.
Forecast for the Democratic Convention: on August 25th - 28th in Denver Co. The transits for this convention speak to long term planning and an overall focus on business and business dealings, especially connected to the masses and communicating with and to humanity. The agenda that comes out of this convention will be focused on building profitable businesses, communication fields, technology and projects designed to serve the masses. The Saturn Jupiter trine present during both conventions says that our next president will have a really brutal fight on his or her hands as they must make bitter enemies sit down at a table together and work out an agreement.
Republican Candidate Prediction: Rudolph Guiliani - His transits are also extremely good on Election day - Nov 4 - good enough to win. But Guiliani has a few really bad ones too - from Saturn, which Hillary is spared. For Guilani’s own sake I hope he doesn’t win. The transits that he is getting at this time could lead him to real danger and even peril to him and his family. The best aspects for Republican running mate are found in Mit Romney’s chart.
Forecast Republican Convention - Minneapolis-St. Paul Sept. 1-4 This convention takes place on a Sun - Saturn Eclipse. This Astrologers opinion of such a date is that it is truly horrible. I would never counsel anyone to do anything important on this Eclipse. Not only that, but I REALLY HOPE that these Republicans have no knowledge about the Astrology of the day. The only thing that could be started on such a day is CONTROL, OPPRESSION, DOMINATION, and CRUELTY. In other words: regardless of the candidate, the agenda that comes out of the SEPTEMBER REPUBLICAN CONVENTION will be earmarked with control and domination - as indicated by the Sun-Saturn eclipse. I could call this a sign of very bad things. Looking at Guiliani’s chart and transits, I doubt even he is aware of the extent of what he’d be getting himself involved with, but he most certainly does have aspects that speak of secret liaisons that put him outside the bounds of the rules other people have to follow.
My Presidential Astrology forecast for 2008 - prediction: The election results will be hotly contested, with both candidates laying claim to the win. Remember, in my 2008 forecast I speak about a technology battle in the fall - near Election time. Oh yes, those election machines will be hotly debated. Ultimately it will be Hilary who will be the President. It is in Hilary’s lifepath to occupy a position of great power and authority, especially connected to politics and the masses, and especially during these 3 years of her life. She has messages and information that it is her destiny to convey and to share with the public. There is really no downside to this aspect of her higher purpose. As tough and abrasive as many people find her, she brings abilities and talents to the table that will benefit humanity as a whole.
Guiliani’s destiny on the other hand is that he is born to be a famous public personality. This year of his life (63/4) is about dealing with power and maintaining a certain amount of political control, as well as control over the public. Especially in relation to business and business dealings.
For this Presidential Astrology forecast for 2008 both conventions take place during the Jupiter - Saturn trine, which some Astrologers are calling a great blessing. This Astrologer has a very different and more reserved point of view on it. Jupiter and Saturn are like mixing a volatile chemical compound like TNT and then trying to carry it across some mountains, where it could explode at any moment. Any blessings they bring are at best the result of an uneasy truce. Fortunately, this 2nd of the 3 trines is weighted towards the blessings of Jupiter and will overcome the control and domination that Saturn lusts after. But we’ll still have to deal with the bitter struggle it brings. Since Jupiter and Saturn are both sitting in earth signs now (Virgo and Capricorn respectively), the struggles will be all about financial dealings, the physical world and who controls it. (Read my post on The Year of the Rat.)
Both Democratic and Republican agendas will be dealing heavily with life - saving it and/or going to war. The Republican agenda is far more aggressive than the Democratic one. War is constant and unending with the Republican agenda, not so with the Democratic one. Dems focus more on business dealings. The Astrological power of the Republican agenda is stronger than the Democratic one, but not nearly as humanitarian. My money is on Hilary, not only because I believe she can and will win, but also because I see the Republican agenda as bringing irrevocable damage and danger to the people, the planet and any hopes for peace.
Remember, these are my opinions of the ASTROLOGY - not the politics. I leave it to the pundits to duke it out on the political merits of the candidates. So, this is my Presidential Astrological Forecast for 2008.

Recent events make it necessary for me to state the rules for commenting on this blog: NO personal attacks allowed. I welcome a wide range of opinions, but anyone who posts personal or vitriolic statements will be banned from posting in the future.
I am building a community here, it is for all of my readers to meet each other and share ideas, it is a place for me to share what I know with you. This is a service to my readers who find this information valuable.
Astrology can only predict the trends, other forces always come into play and humans are not robots, there is always free will. Entities like the Media can (and have) influenced these events. No Astrologer can either predict this OR control it. I will restate the core message from above for those who seem to have missed it: The Republican agenda is far more powerful than the Democratic one. In other words, the Democrats are weak, the Republicans are strong - but the agenda they have is NOT good for the people. The message here is that we are in for more difficult times in the US, no matter what.
For a review of my Astrology trends of 2008 visit that series of blog posts. You will see there that I have been very accurate about a lot of things including:
- Continued escalation of gas prices and it’s effect on food prices
- The tanking of the US dollar
- Crashing housing markets (I also predicted the timing of the rise and PEAK of this housing boom)
- Success for Apple and Iphone (even way back when they were calling Steve Jobs a has-been)
- A boom in Eco-markets (like ethanol, organic food, etc.)
- Rising Gold prices
- The rising value of the British Pound & Euro

As much as I appreciate you taking the time to look at the candidates and the days of the conventions, I have a problem considering much of what you have to say seriously when you don’t even have the correct names of the people involved. It’s JOHN EDWARDS, not Jim. But thanks for the effort.

Typos are typos and have nothing to do with astrology. I am human after all.

typos are a non issue, having some prescience regarding the future leadership of the america is worthwhile to all and may I add, most seasoned astrologers see Hilary in the whitehouse. unfortunatly many have bemoaned the so called “theft” of the last two elections but lets look at human sentiment and what shapes it and what influences it. its all in the stars dear brutus. Auracle, thanks for so much education you provide on this website, it does make ones brain spin where you find the time.

It is Feb 12 and a lot has happened! The author of this article should update it. Frankly, it was always out of the question that Guiliani would be president. I live in New York - no amount of astrological benefit could have ever helped him. If the author had looked more closely at his chart, he would have notice the tendency to be his own best enemy! Obama is rising like Phoenix but it is possible that Hillary will pull a rabit out of a hat - as her chart indicates she is capable of doing. Finally, there isn’t an astrologer out there who didn’t predict McCain getting the Repub nod and several predicted him winning. So, in view of all of this, I would say it is time for an update on this subject.

Sylvia-
Please read the About Aura page, you will get a better picture of where I am coming from.
It is true that Guiliaini was his own worst enemy. The stars were on his side but he made a mess of his own campaign. This just makes the point that FREE WILL is always present. I still don’t see McCain winning, and I still stand behind Hillary as the front runner. There are TONS of astrologers or predicted other than McCain wins. My Astrological opinion is that it is a VERY LONG SHOT for any republican to win. That Republican candidate is the also ran. The real race is on the Democratic ticket. There is still a long way to go with the campaigns and a whole second eclipse season before either the Democratic or the Republican conventions take place. It’s not over yet. -Aura

To me this proves astrology is BS. What happened here author? You never even made mention of McCain, and Clinton is done.

Barack Obama will be in the
White House for 2009
The forecast is in the Stars for Him.
Barack Obams will deal with the World Disaster Event of 2012.
He will have the best Judgment for the Horror to come!

Looks like she was right. Obama is done. If I had to buy stock today, it would Hillary Clinton stock (as as much as I could find). She will prevail. Obama is not the man he is pretending to be.

Latino giant Richardson just endorsed her today! That means hes gonna get the Latino votes, African American votes for sure, and college students like me we are still in it! She is gonna win PA because of Rush Limbaugh’s people voting for her to keep the democratic fight going so they the Republicans can have a good laugh. And there is no way come November that diehard Republicans, especially Limbaugh’s followers are gonna vote Clinton in November! More superdelegates are coming over to Barak’s side. She is pretty much done, so so much for your prediction, Richardson, her longtime Latino ally just sealed her fate! Students for Barak Obama!

Most hispanics have no idea that Bill Richardson is part hispanic–his mother is Mexican. I’m hispanic and live in New Mexico. Richardson has no sway with the hispanic vote. I don’t say this to diminish his endorsement, it’s just a fact that he is not well known within the hispanic community.

Obama appears to have the same appeal as Hitler.Same message, change, and same power-talk. Scary

I don’t like Obama at all. He’s been truly viscious and divisive with his constant race baiting. He talks postive giving uplifting speeches but behind closed doors he’s been a real snake oil salesman.
He’s told so many Tuzla type whoppers, but the media simply refuse to support it.
They want him to win the nomination simply because he is unelectable. Obama has several graveyards worth of skeletons in his closet.
The media has known about Jeremiah Wright for over a year. They simply kept mum as rightwing radio has been discussing Obama’s dirty secrets for months.

i had a dream that towards sept oct obama has a headline causing big big scandal or problem and that hillary will be victorious. i appreciate this author’s astrological explanations . i agree with the saturnian influences, i think that hillary was basically (almost) president before and it will be her turn to usher in a better future, at least i hope for that
15 L // Apr 28, 2008 at 9:17 pm
I too, appreciate finding these predictions.
I have felt for some time that Hillary would win the Presidential race, contrary to other’s thoughts or “roadblocks” that might occur.
I have had the feeling that yes, it would be “close”, but due to something happening, things would be in her favor and she will lead the country, appropriately.
I just want to say that I “sense” that for whatever reason, it is not Mr. “O” ’s time and doesn’t “feel” right. So all these events until later this year - is just a lot for everyone to wait through.

I noticed that you did not say much about OBama - have you got an update? Things are looking pretty rough for Hillary (for whom I want), but will vote McCain if OBama gets nomination from Democrats

Why the vitriol in the bloggers. I just read today where Republican operatives are paid to blog… in sites like this to spread their message - I would love to think they are responsible for much of the hate rhetoric and supposed division in the party.
As for the prediction… hmmm, well obviously you need to update since Guiliani is toast (stale toast at this stage)… how about a revised prediction!!:)

I read your comments of 05/21 blog and expected a different outcome but today is 06/05 and so much has happened which is just the reverse. it is not just the media but the real delegate count and nomination.
Do you think hillary has a chance in 08 anymore?

OK, so many people are asking for my opinion on this subject that I must answer it. I have tried to avoid it, because I didn’t want to spout out more political opinion, but here’s my take on the whole thing:
I think that GW Bush and the current administration is truly despicable. There is little more I will say on the subject. But let’s just put it this way: I am looking forward to reading my autographed copy of “The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder” by Vincent Bugliosi (famed prosecutor of the Charles Manson case and author of NY Times #1 bestselling book ‘Helter Skelter’). The book has not yet been released to the public, but it’s coming soon.
It is not easy to be black in this country. I have nothing but empathy for the struggles and challenges that people of color face. Black people deserve to feel the recognition of their views, rights and accomplishments, and I fully understand the desire for Obama to be victorious in light of this. But I do not see him as being a true reflection of those ideals. He has the chart of a salesman. Good for words, but I doubt much more than that. It is unfortunately naive to believe that sweeping change is possible. The idealists will be disappointed in him.
BUT, the one thing I’d like all people of color and all jewish people (this includes myself) to consider is this: the largest mass-murder in the history of our planet took place during the Crusades of the Middle ages. It was the women who were murdered. They were murdered for being powerful and for being outspoken. Why would those who have been oppressed through history turn on one another? I wonder who’s agenda it serves to turn black people and women against each other?
The trouble with Obama as president is that he won’t be able to get much done. This is why those who run the media have made him their darling. They have an agenda, the only president they want is one who will uphold that agenda or else not get in their way. The only candidate who would have gotten in their way was Hilary. Make no mistake about it, America is run by a propaganda machine. What agenda does it serve?
My ultimate opinion is this: It will NOT MATTER who is president, except for in minor matters. The presidency only has power if the president has powerful connections. The government is basically already being run by the corporations. That ship has sailed (basically when Bush took office). The best hope for the people would be someone who has SOME power to get something done. I do not see Obama as having the clout to do much on capital hill. Hilary could have, but a powerful woman is still a very threatening thing to many, many people. This is why they pushed her out. Given the fact that Obama is being called winner now, right in the middle of a Retrograde Mercury in Gemini - this tells me that it is the Media (ruled by Mercury) that is running the show - and that they are running the show with DECEPTION. It is not being dictated by the polls OR the delegates/superdelegates. Just remember that when you go to vote on Election Day.
McCaine to me is not as bad as most Democrats think he is. It is the Republican agenda that is frightening. It is very unlikely for a Republican to win in this political climate. I have usually voted Democratic, and I am registered Independent. The only issues that will sway my vote are environmental ones. Once the Presidency is passed along to someone new - we will all still need our environment.
But the bitter legacy Bush will leave will not go away, and a new president will be mostly doing damage control for the continuing downward spiral of our economy, the wreckage of our environment and spilled blood of our sons.
I have very little hope that any one election result will bring the much hoped for changes that so many people dream about. The bottom line is this: the environment is getting screwed, kids keep dying and warfare will not only continue but increase in the coming years, and gas prices aren’t going anywhere but UP for a very, very, very long time. If we have any desire to change our future, it will be up to us each to take our own actions. It is a folly and a dream to believe that the public trust is in the hands of those who will treat it with either respect, or wisdom.
The only real hope for the future lies in the community YOU build with friends and loved-ones and the resources you have together with your own community. Depending on the government to look out for your best interests will only lead to pain and frustration. My take on it is that we all MUST learn to take care of ourselves and each other. This is true no matter who takes a seat in the White House. Have you planted a garden yet? You would be very wise to do so. Or will you wait until a head of lettuce is $12? Or until a head of lettuce isn’t even available anywhere, at any price? Self-sufficiency is the name of the game now and well into the future.
I will say it again: It does NOT MATTER who is president. The system is collapsing.

I feel Obama is not who he says he is and Hilary should simply run as an independent…. if she is not a candidate I think you will all be saying ‘ McCain you’ve done it again’
