*This is a pair of DEEP purple geodes. *They are ENORMOUS (and very heavy). The small one is the size
*Expected to INCREASE IN VALUE because of the rare depth of color, *Valuable calcite inclusions (the white crystals growing inside *Cut directly out of the rock *Excavated from SEDONA, ARIZONA *These are so stunning, exotic and rare. They always get noticed *These are works of ART to be displayed proudly and prominently. *A valuable asset, worthy of passing down to future generations. |
By the way, when I asked my brother what he thought of them, his comment
was that they were the sort of thing that would really go up in value
over the next 2-3 years. Then he started contemplating buying them himself.
He still might.
But neither of us are rock experts. He’s just the guy who made out like
a bandit and bought a house with his own rock collection.
You may wonder why are these valuable items up for sale? Because they
were inherited due to a death in my friends family. She simply has nowhere
to keep them and needs to use the proceeds to settle the family estate.
For this reason she is willing to let them go at an absolute ROCK BOTTOM
price (ok, I couldn’t help myself with that pun.)
They were purchased for around $17,500 Her first instinct
was to sell them for $15,000. In all honesty that
would be a very fair price for these.
But I insisted that this is a tough economy, and she wants to sell them
fast. So she agreed to take even more off the price. After a long discussion,
we agreed that she could go down, not to $12,000, not even to $11,000
but all the way down to $9,750
This is a sacrifice!
And whoever gets these will be getting a really
hot deal.
