Women, Power and Violence: Mars Opposed to Pluto

This Astrologer was looking at the dangers of the Christmas week as coming
from the EXACT opposition of the Retrograde Mars to Pluto – which is never
a pretty thing.  This has resulted in the assassination of Benazir Bhutto.

Even more to the point – this Assassination  happened with the Retrograde
Mars at the very edge of Cancer; Cancer rules women and violence towards
them.  Ex Prime Minister Bhutto is a woman of remarkable power.  Mars
opposed to Pluto is all about power and power struggles in the most violent
expression.

THIS IS A GATEWAY: we are currently in a gateway of struggle around
women and female power.  It is NOW time for the oppression of women to
finally be overthrown.  Not an easy process and one that will bring forth many
horrific acts for us all to witness in order for them to be cleansed and released.

We will see much more public news about women, power and violence in
March and April of ’08 when Mars travels back through Cancer for the 3rd time.

I don’t think Benazir Bhutto’s assassination had anything to do with violence against women. She was assassinated for political reasons that weren’t connected to her gender.

  2. miro says:

benizar full or remarkable power?? ya right, very talented BS artist and bi polar thief who wanted to return to the trough to pig out some more.

  3. auracle says:

She was obviously assassinated for political reasons. But the timing is NOW because the Astrology says that such an event is possible now. Like her or not, she was definitely in a position of power. I am certainly not defending her. Again, Mars in Cancer opposed to Pluto is all about secrets, power, women, aggression and conflict. Assassination is never pretty.

yes assassination is never pretty but we can assume that pluto and mars did their duty even to women as her who abused her power, lorded over vast land holdings while her peons went hungry. stole and looted the country while in power last time, her husband was called 10% ala for all the graft and kickback…. go pluto go.

  5. Bruce says:

Hooray for the underdog. Everyone wants the underdog to win and it’s the time of the year to let the big bully know it’s days are numbered.

    Thanks for the information.

I don’t think Hooray for Pluto is the best sentiment here. We are gearing up for the exact Pluto-Mars opposition on January 2nd, making the next few days very dangerous.

Pakistan is maybe a country that has nuclear bombs. Regardless of what our feelings are for Benizar may be, the last thing any of us should be cheering for is any incident that would ignite the powder keg we call the middle east.

The only think this assassination signals is that aggression and violence are currently operating without license or restraint. We do NOT want more of it in the world at large.

This is an extremely dangerous week Astrologically, please be careful.

the powder keg known as the “middle east” was created by the west’s complacency and or disproportionate favourtism to certain groups in the middle east, maybe its time the keg blew up since doesnt astrology teach us that in every aspect of life there is, death, decay, germination, rebirth. ? as for pluto and its violence againt women directly or remotely, it hasnt been all that bad for women, 3 are getting released from the FARC in columbia, yvonne gollagong has recognition after 30 years, several french women got released from Chad to day, so all in all lets not blow things out of proportion, as for pakistan I see no difference between the men or women in their barbaric ways, both genders compliment each other most spectacularly. maybe the british did India a favour by spliting the country. may you all find your bliss.

hmmm. sounds more like a political blog than an astrology site.

no mention of comet holmes who or which plays a role in the current climate. No, yes?

  9. auracle says:

It seems I’ve struck a nerve.
But I do not want to discuss politics here, just Astrology trends.

My Astrological point here is that the emerging of the divine feminine will continue to highlight issues of gender and power in the coming years. The current Pluto – Mars conflict is a gateway for these subjects to come into our conscious awareness – not all of it is negative by a long shot.

Ultimately the emerging of the Divine Feminine is a much needed and benevolent force – not to be confused with the Female GENDER. The divine feminine speaks to community, the need for community, connection, unification, sustainability and self-supportive collaborations. Men are deeply involved here, just as much as women are.

As for comet Holmes, my take is that everything has an impact on us, but I won’t comment on Holmes simply because I don’t know enough about him, and don’t pay much attention to the Astrological impact of passing comets because they are usually short-lived.

Climate changes have been tied very closely to the new planet Sedna, discovered several years ago in the icy Oort belt just past Pluto. Sedna is now traveling through Taurus, where she has been since she was first discovered. Sedna seems to have a great bearing on Earth changes, business systems and money. I will post more on her in the future.

  10. auracle says:

Miro seems to be misunderstanding what I am saying about the Astrological impact on women – it is MARS in Cancer that is impacting the female energy. The opposition to Pluto is what triggers the events.

The scope of Mars opposed to Pluto events that are possible goes WAY BEYOND any gender issues and could include a war or nuclear attack. The most dangerous dates for this are between Dec 31 and Jan 5. Mars leaves Cancer and enters Gemini on New Years Eve. Mars won’t actually make the exact opposition to Pluto (Jan 2) until he has backed into Gemini. In Gemini Mars is exceedingly political.

  12. miro says:

    ahh computers…

I have no doubt the mars>

  13. Adrian says:

Women with mars pluto oppositions have fantasies about being cornered by a strong black man in a dark alley and having his way with her

  14. auracle says:

OH please! this is the worst kind of stereotype. It could mean a LOT of things – but probably NOT that!
