2010 Astrology Forecast (Preview) First Quarter

December 17th, 2009 by auracle · No Comments

2010 Astrology Forecast (Preview of the Full Report)
First Quarter

JANUARY:
Mars RX – The Year begins with the continuing Retrograde of Mars. This cycle began When Mars Entered the Shadow (ES 10/16/09 at .3 Leo). The Retrograde didn’t actually begin until 12/20/09 at 19.7 Leo. It is the degrees between .03 and 19.7  that are getting a workout now, and anyone who has planets or sensitive degrees in this range will feel it very acutely. Mars rules action, sex, agression, war and men. In Leo it is centered on the personal sense of self, pride and ego. Be prepared to deal with ego imbalances of all kinds during this cycle, and remember to keep your own in check!

Mars Rx
Enters Shadow 10/16/09 .3 Leo
Retrograde 12/20/09 19.7 Leo
Station Direct 3/10/10 .3 Leo
Leaves Shadow  5/17/10  19.7 Leo

(The full forecast is in the PDF report available HERE)

NEW YEARS EVE and the Lunar Eclipse is kind of like Beauty and the Beast. Lunar Eclipse:    31 Dec 2009 10Can14 – ALL ECLIPSE INFLUENCES ARE FOR 6 MONTHS – Starting 3 months BEFORE the Eclipse. The Lunar Eclipse represents SECRET information that is revealed suddenly or unexpectedly. THIS Eclipse influence lasts until March 31.

This Lunar Eclipse takes place in Mid Cancer with it’s opposing Sun in Capricorn. The Cancer – Cap axis is about the traditional ‘Mother’ and ‘Father’ archetypes. The Sun in Cap overshadows the Moon (Lunar Eclipse) to reveal hidden or secret information in the realm of Emotions (Mother) and family (Cancer). The impact of this combo leaves the traditions and restrictions of Capricorn to overshadow feelings. The result is unexpected outbursts of feeling and the subsequent control or clamping down on them.

Solar Eclipse:    15 Jan 2010 25Cap01 -  SOLAR Eclipse’s traditionally take something away, particularly something ‘official’ or worldly. This pair (including the Lunar Eclipse two weeks earlier) speaks to the Foreclosure market and the climate of hardship and change it creates. Venus is again tied both the Sun and Moon in this Eclipse and continues to to create financial change. This will mean crisis for some, opportunity for others.

(The full Astrology Forecast is in the PDF report.)

Mercury Retrograde
Entered Shadow at 6′ Cap on Dec 9
Station Retrograde at 22 Cap on Dec 26
Leaves Shadow at 6′ Cap on Feb 3

Jan 13, 2010 Saturn turns retrograde 04Libra – The traditional intepretation of Retrograde planets is that the issues associated with the Retrograde Planet become troublesome during the Retrograde. This is why the Retrograde of Mercury is the stuff of legends – Mercury rules communication.

The Magi interpretation of Retrograde planets is slightly different. On the Magi level we see everything as a moment that is either good or bad timing to start something (usually called Electional Astrology). Retrograde planets in Magi speak are not bad for choosing start dates, not at all. In fact it is very helpful to have planetary combos in your Electional Dates that have aspected Retrograde planets. This is complicated to explain in a written report, but basically it has to do with harnessing the energy of the planets in question and stretching it out for a period of years in order to help you succeed in a chosen venture (marriage, incorporating, buying a house, investing, etc.)

(The full 2010 Astrology Prediction is in the PDF report)

FERUARY:

Jupiter – Saturn quincunx 2/5/10
– A terrible aspect that often takes people who have a bad illness and pushes them over the edge and often causes great disappointment and heartbreak. The good news about this version of the aspect is that Jupiter overcomes the hardships of Saturn, so although it is always a tough aspect, this one allows us to experience a moral victory where darkness is eventually overcome. Whatever you do DON’T start important projects or sign contracts between Feb 3-5. It is bad, bad, bad and nobody needs it.

There are a series of PLANETARY ECLIPSES IN FEBRUARY. These can only be viewed with special software and are overlooked by traditional Astrology. To learn what they mean you will need to get the 20+ page PDF: 2010 Astrological Forecast Report HERE.

Feb 21 there is a harsh aspect between the Sun and Saturn that can hurt someone’s reputation if extra care isn’t taken. This is an aspect that draws skeletons out of the closet. If you have no secrets, then you have nothing to worry about, but if you do… Then be careful. Also watch for news stories between the 19th-21st that crush someone’s reputation. Is there a sexua scandal lurking in the presidents closet? Or will it be yet another squeeky clean public figure?

Early March Ceres squares Uranus/Venus
– This shows challenges and inconsistencies with business and business cashflow. It also indicates large scale situations where properties, businesses and other assets are ‘mowed down’ by creditors and other debt collectors. Someone will come out the other side of this owning a TON of stuff, but many, many more people will lose out.

Mar 10, 2010 Mars turns direct 00Leo17 REMEMBER – these Mars influences are the fruit from seeds that were planted last fall when Mars first entered the shadow, so look back to understand what is happening now, this will help you to plan for what to do, and how to benefit once Mars goes Direct and enters the POST shadow.

3/20-21 – The SPRING EQUINOX
- All of the season changes are times of GREATEST PRESSURE on planet Earth. This is probably why they were used as pagen festivals for rituals and other religious observances. The Spring Equinox is all about finding the role of individual self by creating balance among partnerships and groups. The tendency and lesson here is to live in an IMBALANCED way. This is often the life-lesson for those who are born near this intense date.

Notes For The Rest of the Year – BE WARNED!! There is another financial crisis coming in May. Exact dates will be in the Q2 Astrology Forrecast PDF report.

There are MANY more details in the PDF report. To learn what they mean you will need to get the 20+ page PDF: 2010 Astrological Forecast Report HERE.

The Astrology of the Economy 2009-2010

October 20th, 2009 by auracle · No Comments

Here is an excellent article that was published to one of my Astrology discussion groups.
I do agree that the economy is in for far more hard times than it’s experienced so far, and also that this stock ‘high’ is as false and temporary as any other drug.

I will be posting another article to go over this list of upcoming transits and what they mean to the economy. Also, bear in mind that there is no mention of the Mars Retro cycle here, which I see being the trigger point for a series of economic disasters. I will put my timing into my next article on this.

Here is that article:
Mundane Forecast: The Messenger Wore A Skirt
The Economy, Politics, And The 2010s

By Theodore White; judicial astrologer

October 19, 2006–Washington D.C. — There’s a surreal feeling in the
air over America these days. After the Dow Jones Index passed 10,000
points on October 15, 2009 it was reported that New York traders tossed
around commemorative caps and popped champagne bottles like World Series
winners.

Can anyone say “stock bubble time” again?

Because the Dow reached the 10,000 mark and rose 53 percent since March
2009, a month that saw its lowest levels in ten years announcements that
the recession was over was shouted from the rooftops – that is – from
the penthouse rooftops of many of the Robber Barons responsible for the
economic mess in the first place.

“It’s almost like an announcement that the bear market is over,” said
Arthur Hogan, chief market analyst at Jefferies & Co. in Boston. “That
is an eye-opener – ‘Hey, you know what, things must be getting better
because the Dow is over 10,000.”

Back in October 2007 the Dow Jones peaked at 14,164 points. By October
2008 the Dow had lost half its value and was at 6,547 points at its
lowest points. The market rally that is said to have started in March
2009 has seen the Dow Jones rise to its current level above 10,000
points – seeing stocks breaking even over the last decade.

So, what is really going on here?

One economist says that the current stock uptick is “”relief rally that
the world is not coming to an end,” while another says, “”The market by
all technical indicators is completely overbought, just like back in
March it was completely oversold.”

Who to believe?

Some economists say that the rally is psychologically needed since it
convinces older people that they can replenish their 401 K retirement
accounts and urges people to start spending again in the run-up towards
the Christmas holidays.

On top of this, investors need to be persuaded to get back into the
stock market. “Psychology plays a huge role in investing,” says one
financial adviser, “So when you’re trying to overcome the huge levels of
panic and fear that we’ve seen over the last year, psychology shouldn’t
be discounted.”

Global Transits

I continue to be very, very worried. As a mundane astrologer, what I am
seeing is a mirage created by those in power to continue the illusion
that all is well so their banking friends in high places can continue to
horde billions in cash while the dollar is devalued enough to drive down
the enormous amounts of debt losses the banks still have on their books.
The trillions of dollars in residential and commercial credit-default
swaps from investing in the corrupt and unregulated derivatives market
has not gone anywhere.

These enormous losses are still there. On the books as lender and
banking insolvencies continue right to this very day.

See – http://builder-implode.com/ <http://builder-implode.com/>

Foreclosures, the implosions of small and medium level banks,
bankruptcies of companies large and small continue feeding even more
double-digit unemployment as states cut back on public services seeing
how their pension accounts have been reduced because of the corruption
of derivatives gambling over the last ten years.

Americans are very upset. And they should be. Since 2007, Americans are
nearly every stripe and economic means have lost homes, businesses,
jobs, and their savings while seeing their debt balloon to levels not
witnessed since the Great Depression.

“When sober-minded individuals begin to regard an enterprise within a
nation as ‘an enemy of the people’ you can bet that some serious blood
is going to flow,” says commentator William Howard Kunstler in a recent
column.

“This is now essentially the situation for the Goldman Sachs company,
which last week announced third-quarter earnings of over $3 billion
largely derived from converting zero percent loans from taxpayers into
zero risk profits off of anything paying more than zero percent in
interest, revenue, or dividends.

The “people” across this big country may not have a clue how any of this
is done, and there may be much to fault them on from the
care-and-feeding of their own bodies to the content of their dreams, but
you can’t argue with the fact that they are heavily armed to an extreme.
And although it may be hard to measure with precision, one might venture
to state that they are increasingly pissed off. How else explain popular
entertainments like “Zombieland?”

The machinations of Wall Street illusion continues to be punctuated by
the year-long conjunction of Jupiter in Aquarius to Neptune in Aquarius.
This has been the cause of the 53-percent rise in stocks to force a
rebound for surviving companies before earnings season reports later in
the year. At this time in October, as Jupiter turns direct, the planet
is moving towards its last conjunction with Neptune that is exact on
December 20, 2009.

The stability of a semi-sextile between Neptune in Aquarius and Uranus
in Pisces is shaky, but provides some comfort for those who are fearful
that their retirement savings will be further depleted after losing more
than half their values in 2008-2009. This mutual reception between
Uranus and Neptune is a warning of times to come in the decade of the
2010s.

Moreover, we are about to see a “preview” of mid-2010’s Cardinal Crisis
World Transits with this autumn’s Saturn/Pluto square in the early
degrees of Libra/Capricorn. There are hidden problems and severe
stresses within government, banks, and corporations directly connected
to the theft and waste of trillions in American wealth.

Next year, we see the full strength of the coming Saturn/Uranus/Pluto
T-Square – a cardinal T-square similar to the one that occurred in the
years 1930-33. However, during autumn 2009, we see transiting Saturn
about to square Pluto, a square that will continue into the winter
months of 2010.

At this time of writing [mid-October 2009] there is an uneasy calm in
the country that Kunstler points out is leading up to Christmas:

“All these tensions beat a path into the holiday season when emotions
run high, when blessings are counted and sorrows taste most bitter. So
the big question now floating above the sheer data of Goldman Sachs
profit announcement is: what kind of year-end bonuses will they dare to
pay their executives and minions, and how will the “people” react? It
seems to me that conditions are ripening for a bloodbath.”

The tensions in the country certainly are running high, and as the first
part of next year’s T-square sets up between Saturn in Libra and Pluto
in Capricorn, some economists are scratching their heads while debating
the strength and realities of the Dow Jones’ rise above the 10,000 mark
point:

“The questions lately revolve around whether the nation is destroying
itself by inflation or deflation,” Kunstler says, “By the willful
destruction of the value of our currency to evade the repayment of debt,
or by the hapless destruction of households, companies, and governments
by default and bankruptcy.

It’s a fire-or-ice debate. Either way the nation is going down as a
viable enterprise. The fiction that we can return to a Crate-and-Barrel
credit card orgy has sustained the false of heart and mind for some
months now, but even that pleasant reverie will come to an end as the
foreclosures mount. Only remember, men living in their cars who have
lost nearly everything else will still have guns.”

My forecast for 2010 is the emergence of a second recession, which will
complete the full entry into another economic Depression for the United
States, and many other countries, particularly in the western
hemisphere.

We cannot ignore the coming global transits of 2010 – especially the
Cardinal Crisis Crisis of that time that are shown here in next summer’s
planetary activity:

I believe this is kicked off by the fourth Saturn/Uranus opposition on
the Virgo/Pisces axis that arrives on April 26, 2010. This opposition is
followed by the first Jupiter/Saturn opposition a month later on May
22-23, 2010, then followed by Saturn’s station to direct motion May
30th, which is also followed by a Jupiter/Uranus conjunction on June 8,
2010.

This shows that the transits of spring 2010 leading into early summer
2010 are quite powerful. There are mass protests in the cities as
people, now into their second and third years without jobs, and with the
economy still reeling from the collapse of residential and commercial
real estate – have had enough.

Next year, it is important to clear your schedules for spring & summer
2010 because the energies will simply be too powerful for most people to
handle. The second half of 2010 contains some of the most powerful world
transits witnessed in some time and indicates a need to restrain from
emotional outbursts and gathering in large groups, though this will not
stop many from doing just that.

I advise those reading this to prepare in advance for the powerful time
next year – as 2010 will go down as one of the historic years of the
early 21st century. The economies of many countries will crash, and some
governments will fall leading to a decade of revolutionary sentiment in
many regions of the world.

The months of April, May, June, July & August 2010 feature the build-up,
and then, the total force of the Cardinal Crisis transits worldwide:

* April 6-7 – Pluto stations retrograde at 5-Capricorn
* April 7, 2010 – Saturn re-enters tropical Virgo
* April 26, 2010 – Saturn opposes Uranus (4th opposition)
* May 23, 2010 – Jupiter opposes Saturn (first time since 1990-91)
* May 27-28, 2010 – Uranus enters tropical Aries
* May 30th, 2010 – Saturn stations direct motion
* June 5-6, 2010 – Jupiter enters tropical Aries
* June 6-7, 2010 – Mars enters tropical Virgo
* June 8, 2010 – Jupiter conjoins Uranus

* July 5, 2010 – Uranus stations retrograde at 0-Aries
* July 8, 2010 – Jupiter turns North in declination
* July 11, 2010 – New Moon total eclipse at 19-Cancer (not seen in
N. America)
* July 21, 2010 – Saturn re-enters tropical Libra for good
* July 23, 2010 – Jupiter stations retrograde
* July 25, 2010 – Jupiter Squares Pluto
* July 26, 2010 – Fifth Saturn/Uranus opposition
* July 31, 2010 – Mars & Jupiter turn S in Declination

* August 3, 2010 – Jupiter, retrograde, Squares Pluto again
* August 6, 2010 – Venus turns South in Declination
* August 13-14, 2010 – Uranus re-enters tropical Pisces
* August 16, 2010 – Jupiter Opposes Saturn
* August 20, 2010 – Mercury retrogrades in Virgo
* August 21, 2010 – Saturn Squares Pluto

* September 8, 2010 – Saturn turns South in declination
* September 8, 2010 – New Moon at 15-Virgo
* September 8, 2010 – Venus enters Scorpio
* September 8-9, 2010 – Jupiter re-enters tropical Pisces
* September 12, 2010 – Mercury stations direct
* September 14, 2010 – Pluto stations direct
* September 14, 2010 – Mars enters Scorpio
* September 19, 2010 – Jupiter conjoins Uranus in Pisces
* October 8, 2010 – Venus stations retrograde in Scorpio
My forecast is not positive: The planetary transits above clearly show
that the economy will contract further. The Treasury bond market is not
favorable; moreover, according to my calculations, I see the rise to
10,000+ points of the Dow Jones to be an “illusion” considering
double-digit unemployment, the housing crash, the coming commercial real
estate crash and continued weak consumer spending. Because the banks are
not lending – which is what they are in business to do in the first
place – we can expect the credit crunch and business contraction to
continue into 2010.

Some technical economists are seeing red flags appear on their charts,
seeing that the Dow is only 18 points about its own average of the last
200+ plus days. This indicates that the stock market is overbought.

Commentator James Howard Kunstler observes:

“The sense that Wall Street has pulled off a coup d’etat and taken over
the machinery of the United States is the most powerful meme out there
now, and its power is growing in magnitude every day among all classes
of Americans. I can’t say how much it reflects reality. Even if it is
a result of sheer happenstance – the tragic evolution of an industrial
economy into a financial finagling economy – the citizens will still
experience it as a stealing of their future.

Whatever else one might say about American culture, it is keenly attuned
to a sense of heroes and villains. We take great pride in our ability
to blow away the bad guys. And life imitates art, as Oscar Wilde
observed. If a zombie virus is on the loose in America, the first
infections showed up in the zombie banks, among the zombie bankers.
Watch out, Lloyd Blankfein! Woody is on his way….”

The Messenger Wore A Skirt

None of this would have happened if the powers that be back in the 1990s
had listened to one woman and her team at the Commodity Futures Trading
Commission (CFTC) who was forced out by then-Federal Reserve Chairman
Alan Greenspan and Clinton’s U.S. Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin.

“History already has shown that Greenspan was wrong about virtually
everything, and Brooksley was right,” says Frank Partnoy, a former
Wall Street investment banker who is now a professor at the University
of San Diego law school. “I think she has been entirely vindicated.
. . . If there is one person we should have listened to, it was
Brooksley.”

It never amazes me how gender discrimination can lead to wide-spread
later catastrophe such as the one that the United States now faces. This
discrimination was faced former CFTC Chair Brooksley Born – one of the
most fascinating women many Americans have never heard of.

Women are often attacked by groups of males for not being “reasonable”
and for being “stubborn” when being warned about the future consequences
of their actions. This is especially true for brilliant women in
positions of power and was no less true for Brooksley Born, whose
removal from a important position led to the economic meltdown that the
country now experiences.

A former prospect for Attorney General in the Clinton Administration,
Born was passed over in favor of Janet Reno because Bill Clinton found
her “too boring.” A long-time friend of Hilliary Clinton, Brooksley Born
was offered the chairmanship of the CFTC in 1996. Her battles with the
powers-that-be in the Federal Reserve and Treasury Department would
later led to her ousting in what has been called a “typical Washington
turf war.”

This “turf war” ultimately resulted in Greenspan and Rubin allowing the
derivatives market to continue wholly unregulated – and no questions
asked – leading to what is now surely another Great Depression.

Born, a 1960’s-era graduate of Stanford University and Stanford Law
School who was the first female president of the Stanford Law Review,
was an expert on derivatives. Because Over-The-Counter (OTC) derivatives
were under the CFTC’s jurisdiction Born was shocked at the threat
these posed to the economy of the United States.

In a 1996 conversation with Greenspan, who was chairman of the Federal
Reserve Bank, Born related what Greenspan said to her while probing her
philosophy over lunch in Greenspan’s private dining room at the Fed
Bank’s headquarters in Washington D.C.

“Well, Brooksley, I guess you and I will never agree about
fraud,” Born, said she clearly remembers Greenspan saying.
“What is there not to agree on?” Born says she replied.

“Well, you probably will always believe there should be laws against
fraud, and I don’t think there is any need for a law against
fraud,” she recalls. Greenspan, Born says, believed the market would
take care of itself.
Undeterred, Born continued to warn Greenspan, Rubin, and anyone who
would listen that the unregulated market of OTC derivatives trading and
credit-default swaps was a tick time bomb. She was attacked for looking
into this area.

“Nominally and statutorily, OTC derivatives were under the CFTC’s
jurisdiction, and the CFTC had exercised its discretion to partly exempt
the market,” Born said. “But kept some powers and responsibilities that
it had no ability or possibility of exercising or enforcing. Although I
was willing to be persuaded otherwise, I felt strongly that while heavy
regulation was not required, transparency was needed, and some federal
regulator should have information before a disaster occurred rather than
only afterwards.”

Born wrote a “concept” paper on the effects of OTC derivatives.

“There was a firestorm of criticism from the large OTC derivatives
dealers, and they were supported by other financial regulators,” she
said.

Heading her off at the pass was Alan Greenspan and Robert Rubin, who
were said to be “joined at the hip” in getting Born to back off.

See – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Brooksley_Born
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Brooksley_Born>

“It wasn’t a regulatory effort, Born said. “We were just asking
questions! The concept release didn’t propose any rules. Alan
Greenspan, Arthur Levitt, and Robert Rubin all said that these questions
should not be asked and urged Congress to pass a bill that would forbid
the commission from taking any regulatory steps on over-the-counter
derivatives.”

Now the story is finally coming out. On Tuesday, October 20, Frontline
will feature a report called “The Warning” on Born’s attempts to stop
the growth of the unregulated derivatives market.

See – http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/warning/
<http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/warning/>

The political part of what has to date appeared to be an economic
problem is resolving into a crisis of authority and legitimacy,”
Kunstler says. “When those in charge of a nation’s livelihood prove to
be comprehensively false and dishonest, the economic automatically turns
political.

“Nobody believes the bankers anymore, of course, and nobody believes the
interlocutors of the bankers – the Federal Reserve chairman, the
Secretary of the Treasury, the heads of the SEC and a dozen other
regulatory bodies – and increasingly the charming figure in the White
House cannot be believed on these issues of the nation’s livelihood.”

Full Moon this Week on Sept 4, 2009

September 2nd, 2009 by auracle · No Comments

This week the Full Moon is September 4, 16:03. It

Some nurses believe that the Full Moon helps to induce childbirth and that more babies are born around the Full Moon, as you can read on this Full Moon Delivery Thread.

This Full Moon is in Pisces and opposes the Sun (as all Full Moon’s do), which is in Virgo. The opposition of the Sun and Moon tends to EXPOSE problems in relationships, or between the Conscious and Unconscious aspects of self. It also reveals issues that have been buried below the surface (commonly called Denial in Therapy).

This particular Full Moon highlights the common and conflicting aspects of Virgo and Pisces. This means that the Full Moon brings up issues of mental and physical health, details vs messiness, service and service jobs and employees and pets.

Yahoo Reports Astrology & Psychic readings booming in economic crisis – customer satisfaction at all time low.

August 26th, 2009 by auracle · 1 Comment

How to get what you want – and what you paid for – from a Psychic, Intuitive or Astrologer and avoid the common pitfalls.

In recent months Yahoo! has reported all-time highs in psychic, intuitive and Astrology readings according to sites like Keen! and Yahoo! Advice. But the dark side of the story is that the actual satisfaction ratings for these readings has plummeted. The problem seems to come from people not knowing how to get what they really need out of a reading and/or falling into shallow and meaningless sessions that don’t really help them.

After many, many, years of doing psychic, intuitive and Astrology readings myself, I have come to a few conclusions to help you as a client to find what you are looking for and get the most for your money in a Psychic counseling session. Here are the top pitfalls to be aware of:

#1) TALENT IS RARE – the best way to get to know a reader is to read their blog or newsletter for a while, this will allow you to make an informed choice.

First of all, please understand that a really talented psychic, intuitive or Astrological counselor is VERY RARE. These people are difficult to find. I have known and worked with literally 100’s of people who call themselves psychic or intuitive readers and out of all of these there is exactly ONE person who I would trust to give ME insight. ONE. That’s all. And I know a lot of people who are ‘famous’ – but I wouldn’t have a session with most of them.

#2) EGO IS COMMON – seek out those who truly want to be of service.
There are a few main problems with the world of Psychics. Most people who call themselves psychic are on an ego trip – which is the opposite of spiritual, and you should always run away from these people. This is often true for those who have either achieved a big name or have a center named after them. A couple of these people are hard-core materialists and social climbers.

I won’t mention names, but one Guy (with a center named after him) has legendary stories about him and his publishing empire that was financed by his wife, whom he constantly cheats on. He also won’t even give the time of day to anyone who isn’t hugely famous or rich themselves. And yet, his name is almost always on the lips of those who think they are following a spiritual path. Most spiritual seekers have one of his books on their bookshelf. How can I tell them that they are being misled? Well, that’s one of the reasons that I am writing this today.

Most people who call themselves ‘psychic’ or ‘Guru’ do so in order to serve their own ego. The real purpose of a readers’s job is to be of service to the client’s highest purpose and spiritual truth. The job is NOT about the reader!

#3) SHALLOW VS DEEP INFORMATION – empathy and counseling skills are HUGELY important.

Another problem is that there is a HUGE difference between ’seeing’ into someone’s future vs. being able to actually counsel and assist them to make the most of their personal life path, higher purpose and God-given talents.

The contradiction is this; usually the psychic who can tell you what you just had for lunch will impress you enough to think that they must be really good – but this is NOT true. If someone can tell you what you had for lunch, then they probably can’t tell you anything about the meaning of your life, your relationship, your family, job, career, income etc.

On the other hand, a psychic reading with a truly gifted reader will NOT talk about your lunch, your car, or anything equally meaningless! A gifted psychic will not be bothered wasting time on details that mean nothing and do nothing to help your spiritual path or development. It’s a matter of attention – shallow attention = shallow reading. The reason the psychic talked about your lunch in the first place was to impress you and get your business. This is a person who does not care about (or have access) to information that is truly helpful on the soul level.

WARNING SIGNS TO ALWAYS AVOID
A) Here’s a good rule of thumb that most people don’t know: AVOID readers who have a street sign or storefront. These people are all connected to each other and are basically a mafia family. Many are related and have vendettas against each other. They usually can trace their ancestry back through the Gypsies (which isn’t always bad – but in this organized capacity it is very similar to the Italian Mafia). Also, they will NOT tell you if you ask them about this.

B) COSTUMES!!! This is my #1 pet peeve! People really go for readers and psychic’s who wear costumes, it’s as if donning a turban or forcing a fake indian accent, or wearing lots of giant rings and necklaces makes someone a spiritual master. NOT! This is just Hollywood marketing. It is not real. Someone who has to wear a circus costume to convince you they are for real is only putting on a show. So if it’s a three ring circus you want to pay for, then by all means give them your money – but don’t expect anything beyond cheap theatrics.

C) I may offend you with this one, but PSYCHIC HOTLINES are the WORST! Both the psychics and the clients on these services are truly terrible. Of course, when you search long and hard you may be able to find the diamond in the rough, but the hotlines are bad for several reasons:

Psychic hotlines are bad because they literally force the type of shallow reading that I mentioned in #3 above. They do not provide enough time to get into anything real. It is usually about 3 minutes of mistrust and proving that the psychic undergoes for the client to decide they want to stay on the phone with them. Often the service (like Keen) has given away a lot of free minutes for just this purpose. So the client is just rolling the dice – taking a crapshoot and hoping to find a good psychic reader. But since the client rarely knows how to select a good reader, they fall for the marketing instead.

Having briefly tried my hand at this type of service I know firsthand that the clients who actually use the service are facing the worst kind of domestic problems – being beaten, eviction, financial crisis, family members going to jail and on and on. These people usually need real counseling for hours at a time. A few minutes here or there will rarely be any help to them. It is heartbreaking really, because it’s almost impossible to truly help them under the hotline conditions. Also, these are the people least able to pay the per-minute charges in the first place. On the psychic hotline, the only winner is the psychic hotline itself – not the client and not the reader.

Another downside of the hotline is this: you go on as a client thinking you will get your questions answered in a 10 or 20 minute session at $3 per minute, and that seems reasonable. But that’s almost never what happens. The readers who make it to the top of the hotline listings (the one you will see most visibly) are ALWAYS the one’s who are good at keeping people on the line for an hour or more (usually $180 or more for the hour). And now, suddenly your cheap reading isn’t so cheap, and you’ve been led in circles and probably didn’t ever get any real deep insight because the psychic reader was busy keeping you on the hook for the per-minute charges. They were really good at talking about what you had for lunch!

The whole Psychic Hotline system is set up so that it completely defeats anyone who is seeking real depth of meaning, true psychic information or astrological counseling. This is why I say, just avoid them altogether, pay for a full psychic session with someone really good and then use the time effectively!

Remember – ALWAYS trust your intuition when going to a reader or psychic. Here’s a quick exercise to help you do just that:

When deciding to choose a psychic, intuitive or astrologer look at their picture, name or listing. Place your hand over your Solar Plexus while you ask yourself if they will be able to give you the guidance and assistance that you need. Close your eyes. If the answer is yes, you should get a warm feeling of affirmation. If no, you will feel nothing or it will feel cold or unpleasant. Go with the person who gives you the STRONGEST feeling of affirmation.

The Word Astrology in the Bible

August 22nd, 2009 by auracle · 4 Comments

Beliefnet published an interesting article on Judaism and God, here’s an excerpt:
“The verses immediately above warn against divination, seeking guidance from astrology, reading omens, and so on. Rather than trying to outsmart Him, accept your cup from God.
This isn’t to say that Judaism entirely disdains such magic arts as false and empty. Some authorities do, some not. Rather the warning is against seeking out insight from them”

The actual translation for the word ‘astrologer’ also means Chaldean.
Just look in the footnotes of your Bible.

Chaldeans were a sect of people who practiced witchcraft as well as a host of unsavory sacrifices and other types of worship. I don’t know of any Astrologers who do any of those things!

Not all things that are called Astrology are the same and they are definitely not all equal. Most “Astrology” is very shallow and not helpful to people. A deeper form of Astrology (that I use called 4D Astrology) is far closer to counseling and therapy. It really helps people to change the places where they may be stuck in their lives.

My experience with most religion is that it is all about controlling people’s lives and giving all power to the authority (pope, priest, rabbi). But all truth, meaning and ultimate credit should always go only to God – not to man. Giving credit to man is the same as building the tower of Babel.

The trouble with translating the Bible is that many of these ancient words (like the Aramaic word for Astrologer) have several meanings. The word for teeth might actually also mean vapor or something equally unrelated in most cases. This is why the Catholic Vatican will ONLY let people in to look at their ancient texts who have already agreed to THEIR version of the interpretations of those words. Ultimately the public is duped, and unless you are a scholar of Aramaic who has also seen and translated those ancient scrolls firsthand, (and I just explained why nobody has) you simply do not have the authority to interpret the word! Actually, if you read the Bible, it says in it’s own pages that NOBODY can interpret the scroll (Bible) – except the ONE person it describes. Just look up Revelation 5; 1-5 (Sorry to Jew’s I’ve read the whole book, not just the first half.)

If you’d actually like to learn something for yourself, rather than blindly accepting what is told to you by someone calling themselves a holy person (and interpreting the ‘word’ in the way that THEY have been told to) then I have some free info on how Astrology really works. I have researched it, and to my own satisfaction I am quite SURE that it is not against the will of God.

Eclipse Summer is over, the aftershocks are NOT!

August 7th, 2009 by auracle · No Comments

OK, the Eclipses are over, but the influence is not. It’s like dealing with aftershocks. And these can go on for the next 3 months. Whatever you’ve been coping with may have finally ended, but you’ll still be dealing with it for a while. Ultimately, my best suggestion is to NOT hide anything, be 100% completely honest and above board – especially if you’ve made some mistakes. I also suggest completely letting go of any expectations or ideas of how you might think things should be – that is a sure fire recipe for pain during this cycle.

A good illustration of this is the issue of customer service. It is the ONE thing that sets stellar companies apart from those that, well, just plain suck. We saw what happened with a Real Estate system that didn’t care about people this year, and now we are all paying the price for it. It all boils down to bad customer service. The RE/Mortgage industry didn’t care about people, they only cared about $ and committed fraud to get it. This amounts to REALLY BAD customer service. I don’t know how long an industry can expect it’s clients to stick around when they literally sell them to the sharks.

My own worst customer service nightmare involved a Compaq computer, Microsoft and Best Buy (please notice that Best Buy is now un-coincidentally OUT of business altogether). I was so excited when I brought the shiny new device home and installed it on my desk. Like everyone else who uses a computer for business I put all of my important documents on it, saved all my customer and personal contact information on it and basically proceeded to use it as my surrogate brain.

What a mistake.

Over the course of the next 4 months that computer had no less than 10 things go wrong with it! And every time I took it in to those guys at Best Buy I got the run around, indifference and bored, slack jawed looks from slow moving customer service reps. Nobody cared. And I was out of business for days or weeks at a time when they ‘fixed’ the problem. Allegedly. Not really.

But they wouldn’t take the heap of garbagio back. Oh no, it would have been too easy for them to make me happy and give me a machine that actually worked. Instead they enjoyed prolonging the pain.

Finally, I caught on that there are Lemon laws that protect customers from things like this. So I started collecting receipts for the problems and when the same problem arose 4+ times I left the heap of digital dumpster trash on their counter and took them to small claims court to get my money back (and a better computer from a different store.)

The judge gave me my refund plus many additional unrequested cash pluses for all the software that I lost on the computer. He really felt my pain.

After that I went out and bought an Apple. I have never looked back and you’d have to pay me HUGE $$ to get me to ever depend on a PC again as long as I live.  The experience was THAT bad. But as much as I despise the Microsoft System, I love and adore my Mac. Talk about GREAT customer service. The whole Mac experience turned me into a raving fan, and I don’t become a fan of anything EVER!!  Sheesh, you’d think I was getting commission from Apple for this, but no, I just love the system, the store, the service and the style. I don’t care if I have to pay more. I know that the machine will last me at least 5 times as long – and since I am a practical (and essentially cheap) person, that looks like a bargain to me. Especially when you factor in the FRUSTRATION of my past experience. No, I never want to do that again. It’s Mac all the way for me.

There are a few other companies that I’ve had horrible experiences with, and wouldn’t ever go back to again, like BofA, some Internet Marketers and about a dozen Guru’s. Oh, and Hollywood. In Hollywood, you either have to enjoy being stabbed in the back by friends, ripped off, ignored, insulted and slandered, or just get out. But that should be obvious. It’s not a good idea to be deep in a shallow pond. Kind of like beaching a whale. In this story, the whale is me – or at least that’s what they kept telling me. No, they do not like size 6 girls in Hollywood. Size 6 is obese.

BTW – I DO look overweight in the video on the front page of my Blog, that’s because I was 3 months pregnant when this was filmed – another cardinal sin in Hollywood – unless of course you are a pop-star who runs around flashing the paparazzi with no underwear ;-0  !!

Anyway, I am on a rant because one of my favorite online writers, John Carlton wrote a great post this week about ‘How to Lose Customers and Persuade People to Hate You’. He gives solid actionable business advice with an eye towards providing great value to the customer – which is the only way that I have ever done business, and bad customer service is probably the real reason for our economic candle wax meltdown experience. I love this guy’s writing, because he always makes me laugh at the sheer humanity of it all, and somehow that eases those little aches and pains that life likes to throw at us.

And it struck me that YOU might like the benefit of some of my very painful experience in the world of online business building. SO, I am putting together a little comparison guide for anyone who wants to get the real scoop on all the online hype. And no, I won’t be charging for it. The Magic of Amethyst

January 27th, 2009 by auracle · No Comments

"Why were amethyst geodes considered more precious than diamonds
during the middle ages?"

How one 27 year old guy who barely finished
high-school managed to buy a $795,000 house with just a handful of rocks.

If you have been worried about the economy and trying to figure out
how to hold onto your money, or have been frustrated watching it collect
pitiful interest from the failing banking system, then this may be the
most important letter you read all year.

Here’s why:

You see back in the middle ages they didn’t have all this fancy banking
that we have today. They weren’t leveraged, they didn’t use credit cards,
they didn’t have adjustable rate mortgages. In ancient times they knew
one simple truth about wealth that we’ve forgotten.

Tangible things have tangible value. Solid objects =
solid value.

Stocks go up and down (and if you’ve been watching the markets
it’s enough to make an investor more than a little bit seasick.)
Tangible items like precious metals and stones hold their value. It’s
really very simple.

Let me tell you a true story about a guy who grew up poor
in one of the wealthiest areas on earth – Southern California. I know
this story, and I know this guy, because he is my brother.

O was always picking things up from the ground when we were
kids. Whatever it was, he’d collect it. He used to empty his pockets at
the end of the day and they’d be filled with string, paperclips, random
pieces of tinfoil, black pennies, rubber bands and a few odd rocks.

I thought it was weird. But he was my brother, so, whatever.

And, you know what? He never stopped with his fascination
for this kind of random stuff. In his 20’s he began collecting more upscale
‘rocks’. He bought amethysts, uncut rubies, and tourmalines. Pretty soon
he started to collect museum quality pieces. Nearly all of these weren’t
really that big, or impressive enough to imagine putting into a fancy
necklace or ring.

He’d show me his latest finds whenever I’d go and visit
him. Well, that’s nice I thought.

Then, as most people do, he got married and settled down.
Then the house he was living in became available, but in order to buy
it, he had to come up with a $40,000 down payment within a few weeks.

The pressure was on, and I wondered what he would
do.

He did what any savvy person would do (I realized this in
retrospect). He sold his rock collection.
In less than 2 weeks he raised all the money he needed for his down payment
and he bought his house. I was impressed. And I learned a lesson from
him and have since invested in similar items of lasting value.

You see, there’s not a single one of us who can control
the banking system (unless your name is Rockefeller, I guess). The conditions
of today, are beyond most of our power to do anything about. But we CAN
be smart about it.

And this is what I have to share with you today; a rare
opportunity to collect a very rare and majestic pair of semi-precious
geodes. These just recently became available through a family friend who
asked me to help her sell them. And if I wasn’t so tied up with other
things, I’d buy them myself, but alas, these pieces aren’t for me. But
it is my privilege to find them the correct home.

*This is a pair of DEEP purple geodes.

*They are ENORMOUS (and very heavy). The small one is the size
of a medium sized dog, and the large one is larger than a small
child!!

ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS:

SMALL GEODE: 22"H x 22"W
x 7" Deep

LARGE GEODE: 39"H x 23.5"W
(at base) 4.5"W (at tip) x 9" Deep

*Expected to INCREASE IN VALUE because of the rare depth of color,
size, unusual shaped pairing as well as…

*Valuable calcite inclusions (the white crystals growing inside
the purple). This is something that collectors LOOK FOR.

*Cut directly out of the rock

*Excavated from SEDONA, ARIZONA

*These are so stunning, exotic and rare. They always get noticed
& commented on. A great conversation starter!

*These are works of ART to be displayed proudly and prominently.

*A valuable asset, worthy of passing down to future generations.

By the way, when I asked my brother what he thought of them, his comment
was that they were the sort of thing that would really go up in value
over the next 2-3 years. Then he started contemplating buying them himself.
He still might.

But neither of us are rock experts. He’s just the guy who made out like
a bandit and bought a house with his own rock collection.

You may wonder why are these valuable items up for sale? Because they
were inherited due to a death in my friends family. She simply has nowhere
to keep them and needs to use the proceeds to settle the family estate.

For this reason she is willing to let them go at an absolute ROCK BOTTOM
price (ok, I couldn’t help myself with that pun.)

They were purchased for around $17,500 Her first instinct
was to sell them for $15,000. In all honesty that
would be a very fair price for these.

But I insisted that this is a tough economy, and she wants to sell them
fast. So she agreed to take even more off the price. After a long discussion,
we agreed that she could go down, not to $12,000, not even to $11,000
but all the way down to $9,750
This is a sacrifice!

And whoever gets these will be getting a really
hot deal.
There’s only ONE set like this available in the world.

You can take a look at the pictures below which show a few
angles.
I will be showing them by appointment only, so please CALL (310) 455-2210 for an appointment

November Horoscope – better late than never

November 7th, 2008 by auracle · No Comments

What’s up for November? Well for starters we’re beginning to be under the influence of the next pair of Eclipses – CHANGE is the operative word here. Clearly US politics just went through a heap of change, are YOU ready for change? The upcoming (but already felt) Eclipses of change bring us all a 1-2 punch of the REMOVAL OF PHILOSOPHICAL BLOCKAGES (and legal ones to boot) and FAMILY SECRETS REVEALED.

Also in November; Venus and Pluto team up at the Edge of Sagittarius easing into Capricorn. Together they make things get intense and passions run HIGH; first philosophically while they stand in Sag for the fist half of the month. Hopefully, potentially, this can mark the end of the deep fractured divide that has wounded our National consciousness for so long. It’s time for a new philosophy – a philosophy of unity. Then when they move into Capricorn, Venus leads the way towards a new (practical) work ethic. Yes, this is a foreshadowing of a new system and a new approach to problems. The more flexible you are, the better you will be able to adapt. And adapt we must – all of us. But get ready, ’cause the new Eco-Boom is getting ready to start in earnest now.

What do the Eclipses of Change mean for YOU? Click here to find out:

Eclipse Pairs in Astrology

Aries: Social energy and travel in your life gives way to family concerns and a more sober outlook on what needs to come next for you. It’s all about planning, and this month you may find yourself reviewing what you believe and how you act in the world. It is especially revealing for you to look at the attitudes you inherited from you parents to decipher if they are really true for you any longer, or if you need to re-invent yourself somehow. One key to re-invention is in the Law of Attraction

Taurus: You are gearing up to learn the power of leverage, influence and passion. These are the tools you will be using all month to get what you want and where you want to go. The only grey spot in this forecast is if you don’t know WHAT your true passion is. Sexual passion is just fine, but real, life passion comes from living on purpose to your soul, which attracts relationships with those on the same wavelength. So, if things aren’t going quite how you want, then figure out how to tap into your true life passion, the Law of Attraction can help.

Gemini: Try not to feel like an umbrella in a fishbowl this month, even if you ARE a little bit off on the sidelines at times. This is a golden opportunity for you to withdraw from the outward frenzy of the glitterati and reflect inwardly on what and who you truly are. There is a huge amount of knowledge and wisdom for you to gain by just focusing on the here and now, day to day mundane things that need to be done. It’s amazing how profound a mindful walk through the neighborhood can be, it could even solve a big question you’ve been worrying to death.

Cancer:  The Full Moon Nov 12/13 at 21′ Taurus asks you to let go of something you are emotionally attached to (a social position?) Then the New Moon in Nov 27th at 6′ Sag teams up with the station Direct of Uranus at 18′ Pisces and together they literally put the legal paperwork on the grill to be fried. Rules, laws and the status quo are getting turned inside out. Get ready to be very flexible, things ‘aint gonna be like they’ve always been (but that’s actually a good thing – shh, it’s our little secret).

Leo: This is a tough month for you regarding family and long-term influences that you’ve been involved with. A major cycle of change is upon you and asks you to let go of an old identity in the world. This is easier for those who don’t think their social standing determines their worth. Leo GW Bush is letting go of the title of president, Leo Madonna is letting go of the title of ‘wife’ You see how letting go of titles changes things? What title are you letting go of?

Virgo: There are advantages to being the fly on the wall (so to speak). You get to observe everything kind of unnoticed. Then it’s up to you what you do with the information, and it really could be worth Gold, if you’re paying close attention. A few unbidden secrets will drop in your lap this month. Hmm, there is a moral question that this raises, ’cause you could be in the position to blackmail someone, hurt a reputation or prosper from someone else’s pain. I don’t recommend it, it will backfire.

Libra: Obsession, thy name is Libra. What is going on that’s driving you so nuts? Sometimes ya gotta drop the old saw and accept something just as it IS. It may not be easy, but the alternative is to drive yourself and everyone else bonkers. No joke. You might be finding yourself in a situation where you just CAN’T get your emotional needs met. So go somewhere else – let go! It’s the only path to peace.

Scorpio: Even if you KNOW something, even if you are SURE you have the answer, even if you are CERTAIN you could improve this situation, but nobody will hear it, is it real? It’s the old, “if a tree falls in the forest and nobody is there to hear it does it make a noise?” conundrum. Well, quantum physics tells us the answer is yes and no. Yes, in that, if the tree hears itself then it WAS heard. No, in the sense that the observer affects the experiment and changes the outcome. In other words, listen to you own inner voice and run from those who don’t see/hear you.

Sagittarius: It’s now or never. There is literally an expiration date on something that has lasted about 15 years in  your life. you are moving into an entirely new (and unknown cycle). Let’s hear it for adventure, you’ve gotta be anticipating a change, and hoping it’s a good thing. Well, it IS good for you if you can learn to be very grounded, practical and tangible in your focus. The next 15 years are all about physical values and resources, so you could get rich. But that’s entirely up to you.

Capricorn: It’s like someone has just put the royal robes over your shoulders and tossed a crown onto your head. Oh yeah, they call that a ‘coronation’ – are you ready to step into your own personal ‘kingdom’? Are you ready to embrace your power? Are you ready to rule your domain like wise royalty? These questions and more will be put to the test in the coming months (and years). But for now, late in November, you will feel an intense RUSH of energy.

Aquarius: This month is a double whammy of changes for you. First Neptune Went Direct on the 2nd in your sign, finally releasing the floodgates on pent-up energy (evidenced by the flood of voters at the polls on the 4th). Second, on the 27th, your Uranus ruler goes direct in Pisces. This may have an even more dramatic impact on you than the last one, by bring things into sharp physical and tangible focus. Security, sensuality, money, art and your possessions all come into sharp focus at the end of the month, starting a new 6 month cycle for you.

Pisces: Get ready, because that famous change you’ve been hearing so much about is ready to whip through your life like a Santa Ana wind. Break out the Beatles’ “Sargent Peppers” ’cause starting on the 27th, Uranus; planet of change and revolution asks, no, make that demands, a change in your outlook and self-presentation. It’s like having a whole life makeover all in one fell swoop. Well, ok, maybe it will take 6 months, but still. It’s dramatic.

Astrology Predictions: Politics are heated.

November 4th, 2008 by auracle · No Comments

This week – and today – election day, we have a heated set of planetary aspects. But, surprise, emotions are high on the campaign trail and Americans are looking for a fight, no matter what side of the ‘fence’ they are on. This has caused people to even attack ME for making Astrological predictions. sheesh!

Here on this blog, I have gotten slammed on a number of occasions simply for stating my Astrological perspective and making Astrological predictions. Ok, sure I have an opinion too. I’m human. Just for the sake of transparency here is where I am coming from:

1) My number 1 concern and care is for the environment and the planet. And I don’t just talk about it, I run a biodeisel car. I despise the oil companies and what is happening to our world because of pollution and greed. I put my money where my mouth is. I cannot in good conscience give my money to these oil criminals. Precious few people are really doing what matters and taking themselves off of the system that doesn’t work. For me, I believe this is the ONLY thing we CAN do. I don’t think politicians can save us.

2) I run a business, a company and I care deeply about how policy effects my ability to pay people! I am an extremely practical person. I only care about what WORKS. I knew 7 years ago that the mortgage system was being built to fail, and I said so in my columns (Oh yeah, people attacked me then too).

3) I grew up as the child of hippies, Aura is my real name for pete’s sake. So I know first hand what all the weaknesses of delusional, fairy tail, escapist thinking can be. I actually see the rational side to EVERY argument. And I don’t like politicians. None of them. I think our problems are bigger than this. I advocate individual change and responsibility.

4) I believe the best political activism is the activism that creates individual action and personal change and responsibility: plant a garden, get on bio-fuels, invest in wholistic self-sustaining systems (stay away from get rich quick schemes!), take care of your own health by eating healthy and doing regular intestinal cleanses, and exercise, work together with other people, be part of community, live with good values and treat people as you’d like to be treated.

Pretty simple really. Pretty common sense, but for some reason people who read my Astrology predictions think that I am a politico. I am not. I hate politicians (yes, all of them), I just state what I see. I often see things I don’t like, but I am prescient in a way that people need to hear, so I share it. I have even been accused of creating the things I see. Please people! I am merely a messenger.  All I want to do is laugh at how crazy this 3 ring circus has become:

Yeah. laughter really IS the best medicine. And here’s my most poignant Astrology prediction yet: We will all need our sense of humor to get through the things that are coming up, because the whole thing is completely INSANE. It doesn’t matter what side of the political warfare you find yourself on, a little kindness, a lot of humanity and deep servings of humor are going to be indispensables. That’s my Astrological story, and I’m sticking to it.

Saturn – Uranus opposition exact on Election Day – Nov 4

October 24th, 2008 by auracle · 8 Comments

Yes, the Election is coming up. This is true, and most people are worked up about it. The Uranus – Saturn opposition that becomes EXACT on Nov 4th – Election Day, will make sure to stir up plenty of controversy and TROUBLE. The old Guard (Saturn) is pitted against the New Guard and nobody will give an inch. More than any other aspect present at this time this one is a sign of more trouble in already troubled waters. This Election Day has transits that create LONG-TERM turbulence with the US chart – no matter who is elected. It is a dramatic time. I expect the results of this election will be very challenging and cause turmoil (Uranus) for a lot of Americans.

IT’S BASIC ECONOMICS: The current financial crises we are facing is a basic lesson in ’spend less than you make,’ but on a huge governmental scale. This crisis and the fact that world stock markets (Uranus) are continuing to crumble(Saturn) today is all related to this Saturn-Uranus opposition.  Here is a very clear article that lays it out in simple economic terms:

Economic Principles

I never took trigonometry, but Astrology actually uses plenty of this kind of math! So the same laws apply.
The election isn’t going to solve any of our problems, sorry folks. I wish it were that simple. Of course, we still need to go and vote, but the US is in for some real bashing by Saturn and Uranus over the next year, and there is just no way to avoid this.

Saturn and Uranus in Opposition also create unpredictable Human Behavior and Hate crimes.

Last night I saw a play about racism at The Actors Gang. This is Tim Robbin’s theater, and he was there. We spoke briefly about the upcoming election and he was concerned about disenfranchised voters. I mentioned that PBS had a YouTube station set up for people to video tape their voting experiences. He’s on Bill Maher tonight, and will be giving out the link, but here it is for you now

Record your Vote

Seeing that play sure made me feel white, while at the same time reminding me that I am Jewish. I was sitting next to one of my closest friends who is Palestinian. Under different circumstances we should hate each other, but neither of us sees ourselves purely through race identity. The GIFT of Saturn combined with Uranus is the ability for us to ‘get past’ our tribal/survival thinking. Indeed thinking from a perspective of vision instead of fear and us against them survival is the ONLY remedy for Saturn opposed to Uranus woes. It’s time to remember that we’re all in this together.

Anyway, feelings about color is a major issue and concern in this presidential ‘race’. Maybe this gives is all a chance to look inwards and see where we have a victim/victimizer inner drama taking place (Saturn opposed to Uranus). One of the most powerful moments in the play was when an actress pointed out that seeing what the effects of man’s inhumanity to man really ARE, she realized that she could do this. We all could. This issue is on the surface for us to collectively address, heal and move to a new level. My intention is for this to be easy and for us to collectively move to a higher state of awareness. But I still think it’s a good idea to be prepared (but armed with courage and loving action).

Of course, the only answer to racial tension is to create a community and identity that transcends the borders of skin color – a wholeness. The only way to really do this is for us to see ourselves as all part of the whole – all connected to the one planet we share our earth walk with. Really, if we think about it, we can’t ever get away from our connection to oneness. Simply by virtue of our feet being connected to the ground through gravity, that ground connects us to every other living thing on the planet. In the truest, most real sense of it: we are all ONE.  One Planet.

Saturn Opposed to Uranus wakes us up to the possibility that it could take a crisis that threatens the planet itself, Is this what it takes for us to pull together and see this?
I hope not, but looking at the Astrology for next year, I fear yes.
I am merely the thunder (Saturn) that warns of the approaching lightning (Uranus).

Is Mercury Retrograde Getting your goat? Grrrrr!!

October 9th, 2008 by auracle · No Comments

Let’s talk about Mercury Retrograde (Direct again on Oct 15th but not out of the shadow until Oct 30th). Over the years, my experience with the backtracking planet, that twisted trickster, monkey-wrench in the works joker of all jokers, Mercury, has given me much to cry about. But Mercury Retrograde has also given me much to laugh about.

I find the best way to do this is by telling you a story. Over the past few weeks while the little prankster has been going backwards, I have had to revamp my internet/wireless router, attempt to install a new dishwasher, travel all over town to pick up my mail from 3 different locations (don’t even ask), juggle returns for a phone jack, install Skype & AIM and catch up on my social networking. And if that wasn’t enough, I am now faced with the choice of which coffee shop I like best – there are 5 Starbucks (6 if you count the one inside Pavilions), 3 Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’s and 1 Peets Coffee within walking distance! And of course there is my Libra brother that I’ve been worried about (Mercury is in Libra). And I haven’t even scratched the surface. Can you relate?

Then, of course there was the time during Mercury Retro I tried to replace a glass shelf for a bookshelf and after many trips to the glassman (which was it’s own trip to the dark side, but don’t distract me). I finally got what looked like a replacement shelf. But no, what I ended up with was a shelf that was HALF the thickness I needed – even after I had SPECIFIED THE SIZE. Of course it wasn’t in writing, so Mercury left me footing the bill. Ahhh, chalk it up to some kind of karmic payback. You see, this IS what Mercury Retrograde is up to – he’s balancing the scales. Somewhere, someplace I messed with a glassman, and now I had to pay the price! Mercury Retrograde cost me my pocket change.

YES, Mercury Retrograde rules pocket change, AND personal change. the best way to sum it up is with this very mercurial saying about change: “change comes from within.”

Mercury governs all these subjects: siblings, neighbors/neighborhoods, short trips, mail, phones, etc, etc. So, we can all see why the Retrograde Mercury has gotten such a bad rap. He sure is a BUSY bugger. But is it all BAD? I don’t think so.

But there’s more, the problems that Mercury’s highlighted are not news to me, I knew I’d have to deal with every last one of them. They just require attention. The fact is, once most of this is settled into a routine, a system or a clear course of action then there will be stability around all of them. This is an extremely GOOD thing. Not only that, but I know how to look at Astrological dates to plant seeds for new growth under prime Universal conditions. And Retrograde can actually be a VERY POWERFUL time to do this.

**My disclaimer: I only stand behind the dates I have personally selected for you, this is called Electional Astrology and is the art of creating the BEST timing for starting things using the timing of the Universe. One of the reasons we are having problems in our economy and with the out-of-whackness of our environment (don’t get me started) is because we are out of whack with the COSMOS. Proper selection of timing puts us back IN WHACK with the timing of the Universe. And that leads to success and Happiness.

Successful date selection is the name of the game, even during a Retrograde Mercury!

2012, Financial Crisis & Astrology – what does it mean?

October 2nd, 2008 by auracle · 6 Comments

Below is an excerpt from this weeks Newsletter for all to read. Obviously everyone is worried about the financial crises on Wall Street, in the mortgage industry and the stock market and what it means for the future. There is also a lot of buzz out there about the Mayan calendar and the date of Dec 21, 2012 when that calendar comes to an end. Many people have even speculated that it means Armegeddan. My view is NO, it’s not the hysteria that some people want to make it out as.

But we ARE in for some very disruptive times. There will be more financial chaos related to banking, mortgages and the stock market all through October (stay tuned for my October Horoscope). The upshot is that we have gotten so far away from nature that this was necessary to get our collective feet back on the ground, WE NEED TO START CARING FOR EARTH, OUR HOME. Here is what I wrote about the Astrology of this current financial upheaval in stocks, banking and mortgages and what it means for the future 2012 and beyond:

THE LONG VIEW: OK, I could write 10 pages about this, but I know that neither of us has that kind of time. So here’s the cliff notes version:

*The governments (around the world) will collapse. Astrological indicators show that this will happen     within the next 20 years.

*In the short term, money is currently being consolidated into the hands of a small number of people.

*The next way wealth will be measured is by who controls the worlds assets like: gold, platinum, metals, land and business. This will put companies and corporations in charge of word decisions.

*The Earth herself is waking up to the abuses humans have heaped upon her, and not to sound all ‘fire     and brimstone’ or anything – but with Katrina and all, we ‘aint seen nothin’ yet. Life on this planet is going to get more physically HARD in a lot of places. This includes the Western World.

*Finally, not all of this will happen at once. And while it IS happening there is a huge rebuilding of the     NEW paradigm of life on earth. THIS is where all the joy and hope and prosperity really exists.

If you want to hear/say more on the subject, your comments are welcome below.
And if you want to learn how to MAKE THE MOST of all this craziness then go here while the special is still good:

The Myth of the Fall Equinox DEBUNKED on Sept 22nd

September 20th, 2008 by auracle · No Comments

Break out your raw eggs, the Equinox is here.

The debate has raged on, but the fact remains: It takes me less than 5 seconds to balance a RAW egg on it’s NARROW POINTY end. I can do this on a clean, SMOOTH, HARD surface like Metal or Glass on either the Fall or Spring Equinox – and YOU CAN TOO! I can’t do this on any other day of the year. I have NEVER seen proof that this can be done on any other day.

WHAT IS THE EQUINOX GOOD FOR?
Aside from being the traditional Fall Harvest and Thanksgiving celebration this is a day that is all about partnerships and relationships. The Fall Equinox always falls at the 0′ degree of Libra (relationships) and therefore asks us to pay attention to creating balance in all areas of our life.

THE MYTH
The myth is that Libra is a sign of balance. It is far closer to the truth to point out that Libra (and it’s opposite sign of Aries), are both signs that are attracted to extremes. This is especially true on the Fall and Spring Equinox dates. Libra looks for extremes so that they can balance them!

Yes, the equinox means equal length of day and night, and yes it is a time for creating that precarious level of balance we find when resting an egg on it’s pointy end. But I don’t have to tell you that this is a very IMPERMANENT state of being. Perhaps that’s why we should give it so much gratitude when we achieve it!

Anyone who’s ever had a relationship knows that the state of balance ONLY comes from the tension created by polarity of opposites. Similarly, the Equal days of the Equinox are closely tied to the EXTREMES we get on the Summer and Winter Solstice dates (the longest and shortest days of the year respectively).

HOW TO USE IT
The best way to use the Equinox is to give up extremes. Let go of a useless behavior, addiction, thought patterns or other form of imbalance. This is a day for sacrifice and letting go. Bring yourself to a state of neutral, emptiness and openness. The energy of the equinox can be compared to the number zero 0 which is both empty and pregnant with possibility at the same time.

If you were to balance on one leg, it would be impossible to maintain that balance if you tried to reach out and pick up something heavy next to you. And yet, the neutral state of balance is the exact state of mind that allows manifestation and miracles to occur. All you need to do is become empty, and then focus on what you want.

THIS IS THE PERFECT TIME TO MEDITATE AND QUIET THE MIND!

An Aquarius Lunar Eclipse – and now I’m tired

August 15th, 2008 by auracle · No Comments

Tomorrow’s Lunar Eclipse: Lunar Eclipse: 16 Aug 2008 24Aqu21

In general, what the Lunar Eclipse does: Reveal secret or hidden information, upset the status quo, shed light on areas where the physical is dominating the emotional/mental/spiritual levels of existence. Reveal physical problems and addictions.

What it means in Aquarius: Technology can be effected. The masses of humanity and large crowds of people can be unpredictable. Politics and politicians are thrown out of their routines, skeletons come out of the closet, groups of people re-establish social order (revolution), friendships are tested or go through sudden changes. Electrical & technical problems emerge and show themselves. Other areas that might be effected: shipping, trucking and mass transit, utility providers (like Edison, or phone co’s), large housing developments, computers and companies in the technology fields.

THE EFFECTS: are MOST powerful on the 2 days before the day of and 2 days after the Eclipse itself (Aug 14-18). The effects are still VERY powerful for the 2 weeks before and after the actual Eclipse (Aug 1-30), and the effects still MAY BE FELT up to 3 months before and after the Eclipse (May 16 – Nov 16).

Here’s my own Eclipse story:

This Eclipse took place exactly on my Nadir (the roots of the chart) and is opposed to my Mid-heaven (career and worldly reputation). The Nadir is literally ‘where you live’ on an emotional – and sometimes physical level. So, it should come as no surprise to learn that I am moving, and have been gearing up to do so over the past month. This is textbook.

In the meantime I am house-sitting for a close friend who has gone to Hawaii on vacation with her Husband and 2 kids. Last night, in the middle of the night the house alarm went off – and believe me it was LOUD. It did so right in the middle of an electrical storm with flashes of lightning going crazy everywhere. This added a nice dramatic and terrifying backdrop to the screeching alarm sounds. I finally got it disarmed, whew!

But then I found the back door open. This was more than a little scary. AND, since I didn’t get to the phone in time (I was too busy trying to deal with the back door) the Sheriff had been dispatched. Great, that’s all I need, men with .34’s coming up and quizzing me on my identity while I run around in a filmy nighty. The brief hope that maybe one of them is cute flashes through my mind as I call my friend in Hawaii. It was only late evening there, so at least I didn’t wake them up. But they already knew about it since the brother had been called by the Sheriff’s dept. I wondered momentarily if I had time to make my hair sexy before the guys with guns showed up?

After a little finesse and more than a few phone calls, the sheriff was called off – whew! I can just picture myself trying to explain why I don’t have the right name, the right ID, etc. etc. Visions of “Law and Order” and spending the night in lockup flashed briefly through my mind. OK, disaster averted. But still, my heart was pounding harder than the drums at a Kyoto festival.

Turns out that the back door is very testy, and I didn’t lock it well enough so the wind blew it open. Well, now I know (the hard way).

So, now I am tired and shaking off a “False alarm hangover” induced by the Lunar Eclipse. In defense of my peace and well-being I am nursing a cup of Jasmine Green Tea. I don’t know if it’s working, but it sounds good.

Meanwhile,

Here’s what I’ve got for you: A private 90 minute Astrology session will show you the timing of events, including those related to the Lunar Eclipse so that you can be prepared for the unexpected and disruptive changes that the Eclipse’s bring in.

Here’s what it will do for you: These changes CAN be good – but it takes a careful look to see how to make them work for you. I can do this for you. A private reading will give you the tools and insight to make the most of any changes you are going through, AND plan for success. Remember, anything can be used to your benefit, the difference lies in being prepared. The Lunar (and Solar) Eclipse this month are making waves for many of us – you CAN use it to your advantage!

Here’s what I want you to do now: Call my office at (310) 455-2210, say you read my Lunar Eclipse story on my blog and I will give you an Astrology Report for free with your session (a $49 value). Do it now, this offer expires on Sunday.
