The question that has left the nation stunned and which became the top trend on TWITTER For hours afterwards is simple, the jury found Casey Anthony not guilty, but why? It seemed abundantly obvious to most of those who followed the trial that Casey Anthony was guilty, at the very least of criminal child abuse, and yet most were left asking themselves how could we get this Casey Anthony verdict – why?

And, as usual Astrology answers the ‘Casey Anthony verdict, why’ question. But not the usual Astrology, we need to REALLY look at all the levels to see what was going on July 5th and how the not guilty verdict could have possibly been the result of this lengthy media circus. I will attempt to answer the ‘not guilty why?’ question for you in this article. And maybe, once and for all I can put those burning questions to rest about how the jury could release a not guilty Casey Anthony verdict, and why.

Astrology is the art and science of understanding timing. It is the timing of the Casey Anthony verdict that gives rise to the results that we got. Those of us left wondering about the Casey Anthony verdict, why it happened and how to avoid these kinds of upsets in our own lives need to realize that timing is literally – everything. This is why the selection of a date for marriage, or incorporation, to move into a new house or go on a first date is so very important. Basically, this day, July 5th contained aspects that allowed for an infamous result based on a lying image (see chart 1) Results that shocked the public (see chart 4), led to a bad reputation (chart 1). These results were all possible because of a general lack of compassion, the ability for the defense to warp and manipulate the facts (chart 3), violence (chart 3) and an almost schizophrenic attachment (by the jury as directed by the defense) to logic, regardless of murder (chart 4) or compassion for Caylee (chart 3).

The Jury returned a Not Guilty Casey Anthony verdict, why?
I am not blaming the jury, but once they finally begin to speak about it, we will hear them tell us that they were making  a logical decision, based on what facts they were allowed to look at (lies – see charts 1 and 3). These lies were ultimately a manipulation. And now because of the placement of Sedna (Chart 1 and Chart 3) Casey Anthony will make a fortune from all of the fame and attention that the media fed to this circus – as depicted by the Nodes on the IC and MC in chart 1. Also, these last aspects make me think that it is VERY possible that someone within the Media helped to orchestrate the whole circus because they wanted to create a stunning trial that would sell a lot of books/movie tickets later on – someone who stands to profit in the future from it all. Someone behind the scenes.

Not Guilty – why?
There are many other levels that I could delve into in these charts, but it literally only took me about 5 minutes of looking at these charts to pull out the reasons this not guilty verdict was possible on July 5th. Additionally, we are still under the influence of the recent Eclipse on July 1st – adding to the shocking revelation that this case created for the public. That influence will fade out in about 3 months from now.

The Moon changes signs every 3 days or so, and just before it changes signs there is a small window of time after it has made it’s last aspect in the previous sign but before it has entered the next sign. Essentially it’s ‘Work” is done. This time can last anywhere from a few minutes to a few days. Astrologers consider this time important because it is better for ‘inner’ work and not effective for outward things.

In other words, if you are starting something important, make sure that it is NOT at a time when the Moon is Void. Normally, nothing comes of it when you do something under the Void the Moon – thus the warning.

The only exception is if YOU were born during a Void Moon, and this is a special case scenario that requires special attention. Void Moon people have strange destiny’s and the normal rules of the world don’t seem to apply to them. These are the people who are here to do things their own way, not follow the herd. But the only way to know if you have a Void Moon yourself is to have your Astrological Chart professionally done by qualified Astrologer and have your personal astrology reading done.

One of my Facebook friends asked me this question today, and I thought it would make a good Blog post for anyone interested in such things. This post is longer than on Facebook, I’ve gone into more detail here.

ANSWER: Well first I have to set you straight on a few things you are assuming that aren’t correct. I practice Magi Astrology – after a lifetime of study this is the most accurate system i have found – bar none. This is more Eastern AND Western combined. We look at more than any other system. The Magi were the Wise men in the Bible who identified the Birth of Christ. (By a Jupiter – Saturn Eclipse).

I also have to take exception with any system that teaches you to get ‘brownie points’ by taking ‘good’ actions. In actuality this is NOT the Buddhist point of view. The Buddhists are far more likely to suggest that you misunderstand your Dharma if you seek to gain advantage by doing ‘good’. In the purest sense, Buddhism does not actually believe in good and bad. And your Dharma is not about doing something in order to achieve a reward – it asks you to DO because it is true to your soul, your path and who you are.

My own many past life (and current life) associations with the mysteries of Tibetan Buddhism make me want to show you a truer perspective on what Buddhism is really about. One such mystery that many don’t know about is the time that Jesus spent in Tibet. Also, deeply hidden in the life of Christ AND Buddhism is the lost respect of the Divine Feminine – now re-emerging on the planet after a long persecution.

Just some background on where I am coming from; I currently live in the Blue Ridge Mountains – perhaps the oldest Mountain range on the planet, and probably once attached to the Himalayas of Tibet. On this farm we raise Tibetan Mastiffs – one of the oldest breeds known to man. about 50% of all current dog breeds came from this breed of dog. They are considered sacred to the Tibetans, who see them as re-incarnated enlightened Tibetan Monks. They were around at the time of Christ, and the whole lineage was in fact blessed by Christ. I live with 8 of them.

But, from a purely Astrological point of view – we have left the good days of the month behind us and even though the 19th and 20th have a couple of good-feeling things going on, it is likely to have too much delusion associated with it.

In my experience it is not a good idea to shop around for spirituality or some words that seem like a good idea. Finding and following a true path requires a deeper level of authenticity than that. You must know yourself in order to recognize the information that is accurate. You will only confuse yourself and ultimately cause yourself harm if you go seeking a million different spiritual perspectives (this includes the Church of Science too)

Astrology and THE CUSP OF CHANGE:

Please read part 1 posted yesterday:  The Astrology of War – It’s not an Answer, but is it a Question?

Meanwhile, we have multiple planets threatening to change the entire world mood at a moment’s notice. These planets are: Chiron and Neptune leaving Aquarius and entering Pisces and Jupiter and Uranus leaving Pisces and entering Aries. These are planets of collective consciousness. Add to this picture the change of Saturn out of Virgo into Libra and the Eclipse taking place right on the Cardinal Cusps and we have a recipe for change. Dramatic and huge and unavoidable change. But not overnight. These movements go back and forth and gradually bring in the newness, much like a tide rises or falls. And so we have the tides of change upon us, eroding our old ways of doing things.

The ANSWERS will come from those who are asking the questions that serve the common good. These will be the leaders born out of crisis. Leaders of a new age and a new era – an era that asks different questions. And THIS is what the Astrology of planets on the cusp of change points towards.

Recent Astrology patterns between Mars, Pluto and Saturn have made me ponder some questions about human nature, and the economy. We all remember that Hippie bumper sticker: “War is Not the Answer” and whenever I saw it I used to wonder, ‘what’s the question?’ And questions are what I am considering today. Mostly because the Astrology I have been looking at points to conflict, aggression and yes, war or warlike behavior

Since fall of 2009 we have been dealing with the Pluto (at the end of Sagittarius / beginning of Capricorn) – Saturn (end of Virgo / beg of Libra) Square. This alone is a huge weight on our combined shoulders, and is largely responsible for the destruction of the country formerly known as Haiti. But I also see this aspect repeating itself in early June – this takes place in Heliocentric charts – which standard Astrology (and astrologers) fail to address. But it is just as relevant as the previous versions of the aspect and needs our awareness just as much.

The big difference is that this time, Saturn is joined by Mars in the Helio charts and both of them Square Pluto. In addition to this all of it squares/opposes the Asteroid Juno (deception). Add to this mix the upcoming Lunar Eclipse on the early Cardinal Degrees (the degrees of seasonal change) and I see a global event. This combination creates a picture that looks a lot like war to me, and if not war, then definitely destruction of some kind.

This brings me back to my musing on the idea of questions. I am reminded of the quote, “If they can get you to ask the wrong questions then the answers don’t matter.” You see, if nothing else, this Astrological picture brings up the QUESTION of war. And war can certainly be a question. I remember my freshman year at UCSD when the entire curriculum was devoted to books like “Pure War.” and “Scandal Time” which delve into the idea of War as an economic solution and the McCarthy trials against communism respectively. In fact, the main theme of that year in college was that War is an economic decision, and a way to enforce a philosophical point of view or belief system. Reaganomics were really just the age old economy of the war machine which has historically been used to bring us out of recessions and depressions.

Enter our current situation.
It seems to me that the REAL questions we should be asking right now are about the economy and how to solve it. The problem is that many of us are looking towards the government and world authority figures to solve it. But my perspective on it is this; if those people created the problem in the first place, then how can we expect them to solve it? Not only that, but the Astrology points to an end to Saturn style authoritarianism – which means that the answers can’t possibly come from people who are asking the war question. But they can sure try!

Mercury RETROGRADE ends TODAY the 11th of May, but he won’t leave the shadow until May 29 at 23′ Taurus. This means that we are not finished with all the corrections and details that the Retrograde brought to our attention. The good news is that this is the third and final review of this information making this the final cycle of closure and conclusion for all of the issues he brought to your attention.

Here’s a personal example to give you a better idea from my own life. I am a Taurus (Sun at ’19) so Mercury hasn’t even gotten to my Sun yet, but he did cross my North Node at 6′ Taurus, in my 6th house of routines, health, and pets three times during this cycle. What it has meant for me is that I have been going through major changes about my whole life path and how it looks. I have gone back to the past of where I have lived, cleared up old business there, and ended things that no longer work for my life. In the meantime I have put together a new set of routines, and researched where I want to live next. I expect to make a decision and start the process right around the end of May.

If I hadn’t been prepared for these changes, and they were thrust upon me, or if I fought against them, it could have been a real nightmare. This is especially true since I was storing a lot of my stuff at my brother’s house, but he is letting it go back to the bank. If I hadn’t gone back to LA to put it in storage, who knows what would have happened to it! Because of the Retrograde I was ready and expecting all of it. Since I was flexible with my plans (not a normal Taurus trait) it has turned into a very enjoyable set of visits to the East Coast with friends that I haven’t seen for a very long time. So, ultimately, I am very happy about it all, and I expect to have a very clear plan, once I am done taking my time to make the decisions that really work for me on the deepest soul level (North Node stuff).

SO, by now, YOU should know what the Retrograde means to you, just based on observation. Use that experience and insight to finish up the loose ends and make some new things start happening now.

Unfortunately there are a lot of amateur Astrologers out there who have given Mercury Retrograde a bad name. It’s only bad if you don’t know how to use it! If it was really bad then the USA (which as a Natal Mercury Retrograde) would never have become a successful country, and yet it became a SuperPower.

People who are usually most effected by the Retro Mercury are Gemini’s and Virgo’s as well as those who have planets in the effected degrees, in this case between 2 and 12 degrees Taurus.

And since I am a Taurus with Mercury in Taurus Eclipsing my Sun, I feel that I really have the authority to explain what this iteration of it means to us all. Basically, Taurus is the master of systems and organization, especially when Mercury is there. Taurus get’s very disoriented in confusion and needs order. This incarnation of Mercury Retrograde asks us all to organize something in our lives – especially the physical side of it. This current Retrograde gives us the chance to do it!

Also, the timing of each retrograde depends on seeing the aspects (ALL the aspects) that he makes during his travels. This is how we know when to benefit from him and when to avoid our communication problems.

I just got this question from a client of mine:

“wanted to ask you a question… what do you think of a students pluto on the teachers north node means?”

Pluto is all about power, big business and transformation. The North Node represents the direction of one’s destiny or life purpose.

This combo would give the student some significant power over the teacher! There may be a sexual attraction (?) OR a power struggle – or BOTH. On some level the student is helping the teacher to ‘evolve’ in a way that they need to. This may not be pleasant for the teacher and could be like dynamite to some area of the teachers life. It’s intense for the student too, and possibly life-changing. Be careful – this is a profound confrontation with issues of power for the student as well as the teacher and something compulsive or obsessive could be the result.

Sex is the most common manifestation of these kinds of connections, but other things are possible too, like the development of a business (especially a big one, or one related to power, transformation or intensity).

Other than that, I’d have to see the whole picture to give a full overview, but this could be (and probably will be) a student-teacher relationship to remember and one that can make a mark on both people’s lives forever.

It doesn’t really matter who has a bigger package – or what the Astronomers of the world want to call Pluto. None of us like to be labeled. And if you interview 100 women you will find that 90 out of 100 will agree that size isn’t the most important thing. The finances on the other hand, are more important which is where the financial Astrology of Pluto comes into play. Wikipedia has a good definition here. Which is a nice overview of what financial astrology is all about.

In financial Astrology we make use of the planets to predict trends, changes and find opportunities for ourselves. Finacial Astrology can also provide amazing insight into how we share what we have with other people – and why. Astrologically speaking, Pluto is the planet of subconscious “ID” desires as Freud would like to describe it. In true Freudian fashion, Pluto is all about the sex drives as well as the desire for power, control and domination – which often translates into the world of finances and Financial Astrology. Pluto is no lightweight by any measure – and even though he may be light compared to the other objects in our solar system, he packs a pretty good punch.

Pluto is also responsible for our collective unconscious and the drives that effect it as well as the merging of ourselves with others in not just the sex act, but also how we work together to get our needs met. He governs things like stocks, bonds and the use of money as well as shared resources, which is why he is useful in financial astrology. He’s a pretty important player on the stage of life, and right now, with our current financial world woes, I would have to say he’s most definitely making his presence felt. It is probably the movement of Pluto more than any other planet that has had a huge impact on the world finances – thus proving his usefulness in Financial Astrology.

So, when all is said and done, the Pluto in your Astrology Chart doesn’t really care if he’s a planet, a dwarf, an Oort belt object or a pink cupcake with frosting. He just makes sure that you know all about power, passion and the depths of your unconscious mind. He also has a major impact on ALL financial matters (financial astrology), and this current debate about weather or not he exists seems to make a perfect metaphor for what is taking place in the world finances right now, and Financial Astrology gives a good glimpse into how that will play out. So Pluto is useful, no matter how much macho size posturing the Astronomers of the world like to do, which is why he is the first thing I look at when doing a Financial Astrology Reading for a client.

First Quarter

JANUARY:
Mars RX – The Year begins with the continuing Retrograde of Mars. This cycle began When Mars Entered the Shadow (ES 10/16/09 at .3 Leo). The Retrograde didn’t actually begin until 12/20/09 at 19.7 Leo. It is the degrees between .03 and 19.7  that are getting a workout now, and anyone who has planets or sensitive degrees in this range will feel it very acutely. Mars rules action, sex, agression, war and men. In Leo it is centered on the personal sense of self, pride and ego. Be prepared to deal with ego imbalances of all kinds during this cycle, and remember to keep your own in check!

NEW YEARS EVE and the Lunar Eclipse is kind of like Beauty and the Beast. Lunar Eclipse:    31 Dec 2009 10Can14 – ALL ECLIPSE INFLUENCES ARE FOR 6 MONTHS – Starting 3 months BEFORE the Eclipse. The Lunar Eclipse represents SECRET information that is revealed suddenly or unexpectedly. THIS Eclipse influence lasts until March 31.

This Lunar Eclipse takes place in Mid Cancer with it’s opposing Sun in Capricorn. The Cancer – Cap axis is about the traditional ‘Mother’ and ‘Father’ archetypes. The Sun in Cap overshadows the Moon (Lunar Eclipse) to reveal hidden or secret information in the realm of Emotions (Mother) and family (Cancer). The impact of this combo leaves the traditions and restrictions of Capricorn to overshadow feelings. The result is unexpected outbursts of feeling and the subsequent control or clamping down on them.

Solar Eclipse:    15 Jan 2010 25Cap01 -  SOLAR Eclipse’s traditionally take something away, particularly something ‘official’ or worldly. This pair (including the Lunar Eclipse two weeks earlier) speaks to the Foreclosure market and the climate of hardship and change it creates. Venus is again tied both the Sun and Moon in this Eclipse and continues to to create financial change. This will mean crisis for some, opportunity for others.

Jan 13, 2010 Saturn turns retrograde 04Libra – The traditional intepretation of Retrograde planets is that the issues associated with the Retrograde Planet become troublesome during the Retrograde. This is why the Retrograde of Mercury is the stuff of legends – Mercury rules communication.

The Magi interpretation of Retrograde planets is slightly different. On the Magi level we see everything as a moment that is either good or bad timing to start something (usually called Electional Astrology). Retrograde planets in Magi speak are not bad for choosing start dates, not at all. In fact it is very helpful to have planetary combos in your Electional Dates that have aspected Retrograde planets. This is complicated to explain in a written report, but basically it has to do with harnessing the energy of the planets in question and stretching it out for a period of years in order to help you succeed in a chosen venture (marriage, incorporating, buying a house, investing, etc.)

FERUARY:

Jupiter – Saturn quincunx 2/5/10 – A terrible aspect that often takes people who have a bad illness and pushes them over the edge and often causes great disappointment and heartbreak. The good news about this version of the aspect is that Jupiter overcomes the hardships of Saturn, so although it is always a tough aspect, this one allows us to experience a moral victory where darkness is eventually overcome. Whatever you do DON’T start important projects or sign contracts between Feb 3-5. It is bad, bad, bad and nobody needs it.

Feb 21 there is a harsh aspect between the Sun and Saturn that can hurt someone’s reputation if extra care isn’t taken. This is an aspect that draws skeletons out of the closet. If you have no secrets, then you have nothing to worry about, but if you do… Then be careful. Also watch for news stories between the 19th-21st that crush someone’s reputation. Is there a sexua scandal lurking in the presidents closet? Or will it be yet another squeeky clean public figure?

Early March Ceres squares Uranus/Venus – This shows challenges and inconsistencies with business and business cashflow. It also indicates large scale situations where properties, businesses and other assets are ‘mowed down’ by creditors and other debt collectors. Someone will come out the other side of this owning a TON of stuff, but many, many more people will lose out.

3/20-21 – The SPRING EQUINOX - All of the season changes are times of GREATEST PRESSURE on planet Earth. This is probably why they were used as pagen festivals for rituals and other religious observances. The Spring Equinox is all about finding the role of individual self by creating balance among partnerships and groups. The tendency and lesson here is to live in an IMBALANCED way. This is often the life-lesson for those who are born near this intense date.
