Mayan Calendar, 2012 and The TOTAL Lunar Eclipse of 2010

August 20th, 2010 by auracle · No Comments

There’s a lot being made of the Mayan Prophecy in the movie 2012 Doomsday. Trouble is, everyone thinks it’s Dec 21 2012 (The Winter Solstice) – but that overlooks the REAL Astrological fact that there is a TOTAL Lunar Eclipse coming up 2 years ahead of schedule on Dec 21, 2010.

Mayan Prophecy, mayan calendar, 2012

The Movie 2012 is a take on the Mayan Caledar Prediction

Why I see Dec 21, 2012 as the Wrong Date:
There is a very good argument that our modern translation of the Mayan calendar is wrong. This is due to the fact that our Gregorian calendar is just about as wrong of a timekeeping system as we could possibly have. This alone is enough for me to think it’s time for a Mayan 2012 kind of meltdown. In my personal opinion, our version of time is a trap and a lie. But first a brief lesson on time and why ours is so screwed up.

Why our Gregorian Time Calendar is a Mess:
Once upon a time, time itself was based on a Sacred Calendar, which followed the Moon. Such a calendar has 13 months – just like the 13 lunar cycles of the year. Each month was 28 days long – just like the Moon Cycle.

But then, after the time of Christ and all the drama that was stirred up then, the Roman Emperors got involved, changed things around a bunch, gave us 12 months of 30 days each and a weird Leap Day. This was a rough attempt to create a Solar Calendar – based on the Earth’s annual movement around the Sun. The only trouble with that is that each year isn’t exactly a nice neat little package as they tried to represent. And then those crazy Emperors all started to get swelled egos and wanted the month THEY were born in to have more days than any other month. Augustus Caesar stole a day from February and gave it to August (the month of his birth). Julius Caesar did the same for July. It wasn’t long before February was the shortest month and the whole calendar started to look lopsided and wobbly.

The Pre-Gregorian Lunar/Solar Calendar:
Getting back to the Mayan Calendar, we need to go back to those BC days and then account for what happened in the time of Christ and after. but first a quick lesson in how time was counted when Christ was born. If you look in the Old Testament you will see that the Passover takes place on the First New Moon in the first month of the year – called Abib. This is basically the first Lunar cycle after the Spring Equinox (April 20 or 21) each year. In Astrological terms, Passover takes place on the first Full Moon of Aries.

In sharp contrast to all of this, the Mayan’s had the MOST accurate system for keeping time that we have record of on planet Earth. Nobody has done it better before or since. But their system is pretty dang complicated. But that’s beside the point. The point I am making here today is that our western translation of the Mayan date for the end of the Yuga (age) as coming at Dec 21 2012, they accurately counted for it ending on a Winter Solstice but have probably lost a few years worth of Moons in there somewhere (months). One place where they probably lost time was in the Year of Christ’s death. The Zero year for our Gregorian calendar. Also, each subsequent year for over 2,000 years has had 12 moons instead of the natural 13 – that’s a lot of months to lose.

The TOTAL Lunar Eclipse on Dec 21, 2010:
As an Astrologer, when I look at the STARS (which is what the Mayans used as the basis of their calendar) I see 2010 – the year we are in – as being the intense one. And the Eclipse on Dec 21, 2010 is truly a heavy hitter.

First off this is a TOTAL Eclipse – so there is some completely new revelation that it represents. It takes place on the shortest, darkest day of the year. The day of maximum oppression, and – for lack of a better word – evil. The Eclipse itself takes place smack dab in the center of the Pacific Ocean. Right in the middle of the ‘Ring of Fire’ where all the worlds Earthquakes have happened this year. The impact here is one of destabilizing one of the Earth’s most vulnerable areas.

Just for the sake of clarity I am not predicting Doomsday on Dec 21, 2010 or Dec 21, 2012 for that matter (I’ll leave that to Hollywood), but I AM pointing out that we are under some very dramatic Astrological influences NOW.

To understand what the Eclpse’s mean to YOU personally, take a look at your Personal Astrology Eclipse Report.

Stay tuned, for part 2: a complete overview of the Eclipse on Dec 21, 2010 which will be posted within the next few days.

The Cusp of Change

July 29th, 2010 by auracle · 5 Comments

Our world is on the cusp of change, according to the Astrological markers. Right now, as of the end of July 2010 we have the following planets on the edge or going over the edge of one sign in to another: Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, Jupiter and Mars.

People are often confused about the cusp of a sign. We think that we are a ‘watered down’ version of the sign if we are born on the cusp. For example, one woman I met said “Oh, I’m two signs.” “Oh really?” I pressed her for clarification, she said that since she was born on November 22nd she was both Scorpio and Sagittarius. I had to clarify for her that this isn’t really how it works. I explained to her that it is necessary to actually examine your NATAL CHART in order to know which sign you were really born under – since this changes a bit from year to year – those general guidelines you find in books aren’t really accurate. On top of this, I had to also explain to her that at the end and the beginning of each sign is when it is MOST INTENSE. There is no such thing as a watered down hybrid between the two. Other planets in your NATAL CHART may modify this – but not the Sun. The Sun for her was either intensely Scorpio or intensely Sagittarius – not both and not half of each! After speaking to her for 2 minutes it was pretty obvious to me that she was a SAGITTARIUS and not a Scorpio. She was just too bubbly and lighthearted to be an intense Scorpio type, but she was an intense Sag type.

The world is experiencing something very similar right now. With so MANY planets changing costumes, as it were, this year, we are under nothing less than an entire RE-casting of the world players in our lives. The changes are radical, they are dramatic and even though it happens gradually, like the waves changing from High tide to low tide – it is still both unstoppable and irreversible. You see, when a planet changes from one sign to the next, it often turns around and revisits the past sign again through it’s retrograde motion. Most people are familiar with Retrograde Mercury, but ALL planets turn retrograde at some point or another – except the Sun and the Moon.

Right now, Saturn is finally RETURNING to Libra, he entered Libra last year, then changed directions and went back into Virgo, and now is making his final and permanent change into the Libra energy. The other cusp planets – Uranus, Neptune, Jupiter and Chiron – are or will go through something similar. These are also ALL planets that effect group and social level dynamics, including family. None of them are personal planets. What this means is that society is going through a revision. It will not be the same when we come out the other side (about 12-18 months from now).

These changes started back in 2009 – remember the stock market crash? This was just one of a series of deep-level changes that are taking place. The short version of what these changes are about and what they mean at the big picture level is that the post-modern society is changing radically. Many people still don’t see this (although I find it hard to understand HOW people can cling to illusions of the past when change is so obvious to me).

People will need to work together in groups. We are getting ready to experience disruptions to the flow of goods. Local will be better. Teams will be better (and necessary). More earth disruptions are happening. It will different in different places, but being closer to nature will be hugely important.

Specifics for each person are as individual as you are, and can’t be addressed in this article. These are just guidelines to help people think towards the future and plan for it. Individual forecasts must be looked at privately. In the meantime, be ready to make a new kind of life, and embrace a deeper level of connection to your environment and community – because this is where things are headed.

PART 2: Astrology and THE CUSP OF CHANGE

May 30th, 2010 by auracle · No Comments

Astrology and THE CUSP OF CHANGE:

Please read part 1 posted yesterday:  The Astrology of War – It’s not an Answer, but is it a Question?

Meanwhile, we have multiple planets threatening to change the entire world mood at a moment’s notice. These planets are: Chiron and Neptune leaving Aquarius and entering Pisces and Jupiter and Uranus leaving Pisces and entering Aries. These are planets of collective consciousness. Add to this picture the change of Saturn out of Virgo into Libra and the Eclipse taking place right on the Cardinal Cusps and we have a recipe for change. Dramatic and huge and unavoidable change. But not overnight. These movements go back and forth and gradually bring in the newness, much like a tide rises or falls. And so we have the tides of change upon us, eroding our old ways of doing things.

The ANSWERS will come from those who are asking the questions that serve the common good. These will be the leaders born out of crisis. Leaders of a new age and a new era – an era that asks different questions. And THIS is what the Astrology of planets on the cusp of change points towards.

PART 1: The Astrology of War – It’s not an Answer, but is it a Question?

May 28th, 2010 by auracle · No Comments

Recent Astrology patterns between Mars, Pluto and Saturn have made me ponder some questions about human nature, and the economy. We all remember that Hippie bumper sticker: “War is Not the Answer” and whenever I saw it I used to wonder, ‘what’s the question?’ And questions are what I am considering today. Mostly because the Astrology I have been looking at points to conflict, aggression and yes, war or warlike behavior

Since fall of 2009 we have been dealing with the Pluto (at the end of Sagittarius / beginning of Capricorn) – Saturn (end of Virgo / beg of Libra) Square. This alone is a huge weight on our combined shoulders, and is largely responsible for the destruction of the country formerly known as Haiti. But I also see this aspect repeating itself in early June – this takes place in Heliocentric charts – which standard Astrology (and astrologers) fail to address. But it is just as relevant as the previous versions of the aspect and needs our awareness just as much.

The big difference is that this time, Saturn is joined by Mars in the Helio charts and both of them Square Pluto. In addition to this all of it squares/opposes the Asteroid Juno (deception). Add to this mix the upcoming Lunar Eclipse on the early Cardinal Degrees (the degrees of seasonal change) and I see a global event. This combination creates a picture that looks a lot like war to me, and if not war, then definitely destruction of some kind.

This brings me back to my musing on the idea of questions. I am reminded of the quote, “If they can get you to ask the wrong questions then the answers don’t matter.” You see, if nothing else, this Astrological picture brings up the QUESTION of war. And war can certainly be a question. I remember my freshman year at UCSD when the entire curriculum was devoted to books like “Pure War.” and “Scandal Time” which delve into the idea of War as an economic solution and the McCarthy trials against communism respectively. In fact, the main theme of that year in college was that War is an economic decision, and a way to enforce a philosophical point of view or belief system. Reaganomics were really just the age old economy of the war machine which has historically been used to bring us out of recessions and depressions.

Enter our current situation.
It seems to me that the REAL questions we should be asking right now are about the economy and how to solve it. The problem is that many of us are looking towards the government and world authority figures to solve it. But my perspective on it is this; if those people created the problem in the first place, then how can we expect them to solve it? Not only that, but the Astrology points to an end to Saturn style authoritarianism – which means that the answers can’t possibly come from people who are asking the war question. But they can sure try!

stay tuned for part 2: Astrology and THE CUSP OF CHANGE

2010 Astrology Forecast (Preview) First Quarter

December 17th, 2009 by auracle · No Comments

2010 Astrology Forecast (Preview of the Full Report)
First Quarter

JANUARY:
Mars RX – The Year begins with the continuing Retrograde of Mars. This cycle began When Mars Entered the Shadow (ES 10/16/09 at .3 Leo). The Retrograde didn’t actually begin until 12/20/09 at 19.7 Leo. It is the degrees between .03 and 19.7  that are getting a workout now, and anyone who has planets or sensitive degrees in this range will feel it very acutely. Mars rules action, sex, agression, war and men. In Leo it is centered on the personal sense of self, pride and ego. Be prepared to deal with ego imbalances of all kinds during this cycle, and remember to keep your own in check!

Mars Rx
Enters Shadow 10/16/09 .3 Leo
Retrograde 12/20/09 19.7 Leo
Station Direct 3/10/10 .3 Leo
Leaves Shadow  5/17/10  19.7 Leo

(The full forecast is in the PDF report available HERE)

NEW YEARS EVE and the Lunar Eclipse is kind of like Beauty and the Beast. Lunar Eclipse:    31 Dec 2009 10Can14 – ALL ECLIPSE INFLUENCES ARE FOR 6 MONTHS – Starting 3 months BEFORE the Eclipse. The Lunar Eclipse represents SECRET information that is revealed suddenly or unexpectedly. THIS Eclipse influence lasts until March 31.

This Lunar Eclipse takes place in Mid Cancer with it’s opposing Sun in Capricorn. The Cancer – Cap axis is about the traditional ‘Mother’ and ‘Father’ archetypes. The Sun in Cap overshadows the Moon (Lunar Eclipse) to reveal hidden or secret information in the realm of Emotions (Mother) and family (Cancer). The impact of this combo leaves the traditions and restrictions of Capricorn to overshadow feelings. The result is unexpected outbursts of feeling and the subsequent control or clamping down on them.

Solar Eclipse:    15 Jan 2010 25Cap01 -  SOLAR Eclipse’s traditionally take something away, particularly something ‘official’ or worldly. This pair (including the Lunar Eclipse two weeks earlier) speaks to the Foreclosure market and the climate of hardship and change it creates. Venus is again tied both the Sun and Moon in this Eclipse and continues to to create financial change. This will mean crisis for some, opportunity for others.

(The full Astrology Forecast is in the PDF report.)

Mercury Retrograde
Entered Shadow at 6′ Cap on Dec 9
Station Retrograde at 22 Cap on Dec 26
Leaves Shadow at 6′ Cap on Feb 3

Jan 13, 2010 Saturn turns retrograde 04Libra – The traditional intepretation of Retrograde planets is that the issues associated with the Retrograde Planet become troublesome during the Retrograde. This is why the Retrograde of Mercury is the stuff of legends – Mercury rules communication.

The Magi interpretation of Retrograde planets is slightly different. On the Magi level we see everything as a moment that is either good or bad timing to start something (usually called Electional Astrology). Retrograde planets in Magi speak are not bad for choosing start dates, not at all. In fact it is very helpful to have planetary combos in your Electional Dates that have aspected Retrograde planets. This is complicated to explain in a written report, but basically it has to do with harnessing the energy of the planets in question and stretching it out for a period of years in order to help you succeed in a chosen venture (marriage, incorporating, buying a house, investing, etc.)

(The full 2010 Astrology Prediction is in the PDF report)

FERUARY:

Jupiter – Saturn quincunx 2/5/10
– A terrible aspect that often takes people who have a bad illness and pushes them over the edge and often causes great disappointment and heartbreak. The good news about this version of the aspect is that Jupiter overcomes the hardships of Saturn, so although it is always a tough aspect, this one allows us to experience a moral victory where darkness is eventually overcome. Whatever you do DON’T start important projects or sign contracts between Feb 3-5. It is bad, bad, bad and nobody needs it.

There are a series of PLANETARY ECLIPSES IN FEBRUARY. These can only be viewed with special software and are overlooked by traditional Astrology. To learn what they mean you will need to get the 20+ page PDF: 2010 Astrological Forecast Report HERE.

Feb 21 there is a harsh aspect between the Sun and Saturn that can hurt someone’s reputation if extra care isn’t taken. This is an aspect that draws skeletons out of the closet. If you have no secrets, then you have nothing to worry about, but if you do… Then be careful. Also watch for news stories between the 19th-21st that crush someone’s reputation. Is there a sexua scandal lurking in the presidents closet? Or will it be yet another squeeky clean public figure?

Early March Ceres squares Uranus/Venus
– This shows challenges and inconsistencies with business and business cashflow. It also indicates large scale situations where properties, businesses and other assets are ‘mowed down’ by creditors and other debt collectors. Someone will come out the other side of this owning a TON of stuff, but many, many more people will lose out.

Mar 10, 2010 Mars turns direct 00Leo17 REMEMBER – these Mars influences are the fruit from seeds that were planted last fall when Mars first entered the shadow, so look back to understand what is happening now, this will help you to plan for what to do, and how to benefit once Mars goes Direct and enters the POST shadow.

3/20-21 – The SPRING EQUINOX
- All of the season changes are times of GREATEST PRESSURE on planet Earth. This is probably why they were used as pagen festivals for rituals and other religious observances. The Spring Equinox is all about finding the role of individual self by creating balance among partnerships and groups. The tendency and lesson here is to live in an IMBALANCED way. This is often the life-lesson for those who are born near this intense date.

Notes For The Rest of the Year – BE WARNED!! There is another financial crisis coming in May. Exact dates will be in the Q2 Astrology Forrecast PDF report.

There are MANY more details in the PDF report. To learn what they mean you will need to get the 20+ page PDF: 2010 Astrological Forecast Report HERE.

The Astrology of the Economy 2009-2010

October 20th, 2009 by auracle · No Comments

Here is an excellent article that was published to one of my Astrology discussion groups.
I do agree that the economy is in for far more hard times than it’s experienced so far, and also that this stock ‘high’ is as false and temporary as any other drug.

I will be posting another article to go over this list of upcoming transits and what they mean to the economy. Also, bear in mind that there is no mention of the Mars Retro cycle here, which I see being the trigger point for a series of economic disasters. I will put my timing into my next article on this.

Here is that article:
Mundane Forecast: The Messenger Wore A Skirt
The Economy, Politics, And The 2010s

By Theodore White; judicial astrologer

October 19, 2006–Washington D.C. — There’s a surreal feeling in the
air over America these days. After the Dow Jones Index passed 10,000
points on October 15, 2009 it was reported that New York traders tossed
around commemorative caps and popped champagne bottles like World Series
winners.

Can anyone say “stock bubble time” again?

Because the Dow reached the 10,000 mark and rose 53 percent since March
2009, a month that saw its lowest levels in ten years announcements that
the recession was over was shouted from the rooftops – that is – from
the penthouse rooftops of many of the Robber Barons responsible for the
economic mess in the first place.

“It’s almost like an announcement that the bear market is over,” said
Arthur Hogan, chief market analyst at Jefferies & Co. in Boston. “That
is an eye-opener – ‘Hey, you know what, things must be getting better
because the Dow is over 10,000.”

Back in October 2007 the Dow Jones peaked at 14,164 points. By October
2008 the Dow had lost half its value and was at 6,547 points at its
lowest points. The market rally that is said to have started in March
2009 has seen the Dow Jones rise to its current level above 10,000
points – seeing stocks breaking even over the last decade.

So, what is really going on here?

One economist says that the current stock uptick is “”relief rally that
the world is not coming to an end,” while another says, “”The market by
all technical indicators is completely overbought, just like back in
March it was completely oversold.”

Who to believe?

Some economists say that the rally is psychologically needed since it
convinces older people that they can replenish their 401 K retirement
accounts and urges people to start spending again in the run-up towards
the Christmas holidays.

On top of this, investors need to be persuaded to get back into the
stock market. “Psychology plays a huge role in investing,” says one
financial adviser, “So when you’re trying to overcome the huge levels of
panic and fear that we’ve seen over the last year, psychology shouldn’t
be discounted.”

Global Transits

I continue to be very, very worried. As a mundane astrologer, what I am
seeing is a mirage created by those in power to continue the illusion
that all is well so their banking friends in high places can continue to
horde billions in cash while the dollar is devalued enough to drive down
the enormous amounts of debt losses the banks still have on their books.
The trillions of dollars in residential and commercial credit-default
swaps from investing in the corrupt and unregulated derivatives market
has not gone anywhere.

These enormous losses are still there. On the books as lender and
banking insolvencies continue right to this very day.

See – http://builder-implode.com/ <http://builder-implode.com/>

Foreclosures, the implosions of small and medium level banks,
bankruptcies of companies large and small continue feeding even more
double-digit unemployment as states cut back on public services seeing
how their pension accounts have been reduced because of the corruption
of derivatives gambling over the last ten years.

Americans are very upset. And they should be. Since 2007, Americans are
nearly every stripe and economic means have lost homes, businesses,
jobs, and their savings while seeing their debt balloon to levels not
witnessed since the Great Depression.

“When sober-minded individuals begin to regard an enterprise within a
nation as ‘an enemy of the people’ you can bet that some serious blood
is going to flow,” says commentator William Howard Kunstler in a recent
column.

“This is now essentially the situation for the Goldman Sachs company,
which last week announced third-quarter earnings of over $3 billion
largely derived from converting zero percent loans from taxpayers into
zero risk profits off of anything paying more than zero percent in
interest, revenue, or dividends.

The “people” across this big country may not have a clue how any of this
is done, and there may be much to fault them on from the
care-and-feeding of their own bodies to the content of their dreams, but
you can’t argue with the fact that they are heavily armed to an extreme.
And although it may be hard to measure with precision, one might venture
to state that they are increasingly pissed off. How else explain popular
entertainments like “Zombieland?”

The machinations of Wall Street illusion continues to be punctuated by
the year-long conjunction of Jupiter in Aquarius to Neptune in Aquarius.
This has been the cause of the 53-percent rise in stocks to force a
rebound for surviving companies before earnings season reports later in
the year. At this time in October, as Jupiter turns direct, the planet
is moving towards its last conjunction with Neptune that is exact on
December 20, 2009.

The stability of a semi-sextile between Neptune in Aquarius and Uranus
in Pisces is shaky, but provides some comfort for those who are fearful
that their retirement savings will be further depleted after losing more
than half their values in 2008-2009. This mutual reception between
Uranus and Neptune is a warning of times to come in the decade of the
2010s.

Moreover, we are about to see a “preview” of mid-2010’s Cardinal Crisis
World Transits with this autumn’s Saturn/Pluto square in the early
degrees of Libra/Capricorn. There are hidden problems and severe
stresses within government, banks, and corporations directly connected
to the theft and waste of trillions in American wealth.

Next year, we see the full strength of the coming Saturn/Uranus/Pluto
T-Square – a cardinal T-square similar to the one that occurred in the
years 1930-33. However, during autumn 2009, we see transiting Saturn
about to square Pluto, a square that will continue into the winter
months of 2010.

At this time of writing [mid-October 2009] there is an uneasy calm in
the country that Kunstler points out is leading up to Christmas:

“All these tensions beat a path into the holiday season when emotions
run high, when blessings are counted and sorrows taste most bitter. So
the big question now floating above the sheer data of Goldman Sachs
profit announcement is: what kind of year-end bonuses will they dare to
pay their executives and minions, and how will the “people” react? It
seems to me that conditions are ripening for a bloodbath.”

The tensions in the country certainly are running high, and as the first
part of next year’s T-square sets up between Saturn in Libra and Pluto
in Capricorn, some economists are scratching their heads while debating
the strength and realities of the Dow Jones’ rise above the 10,000 mark
point:

“The questions lately revolve around whether the nation is destroying
itself by inflation or deflation,” Kunstler says, “By the willful
destruction of the value of our currency to evade the repayment of debt,
or by the hapless destruction of households, companies, and governments
by default and bankruptcy.

It’s a fire-or-ice debate. Either way the nation is going down as a
viable enterprise. The fiction that we can return to a Crate-and-Barrel
credit card orgy has sustained the false of heart and mind for some
months now, but even that pleasant reverie will come to an end as the
foreclosures mount. Only remember, men living in their cars who have
lost nearly everything else will still have guns.”

My forecast for 2010 is the emergence of a second recession, which will
complete the full entry into another economic Depression for the United
States, and many other countries, particularly in the western
hemisphere.

We cannot ignore the coming global transits of 2010 – especially the
Cardinal Crisis Crisis of that time that are shown here in next summer’s
planetary activity:

I believe this is kicked off by the fourth Saturn/Uranus opposition on
the Virgo/Pisces axis that arrives on April 26, 2010. This opposition is
followed by the first Jupiter/Saturn opposition a month later on May
22-23, 2010, then followed by Saturn’s station to direct motion May
30th, which is also followed by a Jupiter/Uranus conjunction on June 8,
2010.

This shows that the transits of spring 2010 leading into early summer
2010 are quite powerful. There are mass protests in the cities as
people, now into their second and third years without jobs, and with the
economy still reeling from the collapse of residential and commercial
real estate – have had enough.

Next year, it is important to clear your schedules for spring & summer
2010 because the energies will simply be too powerful for most people to
handle. The second half of 2010 contains some of the most powerful world
transits witnessed in some time and indicates a need to restrain from
emotional outbursts and gathering in large groups, though this will not
stop many from doing just that.

I advise those reading this to prepare in advance for the powerful time
next year – as 2010 will go down as one of the historic years of the
early 21st century. The economies of many countries will crash, and some
governments will fall leading to a decade of revolutionary sentiment in
many regions of the world.

The months of April, May, June, July & August 2010 feature the build-up,
and then, the total force of the Cardinal Crisis transits worldwide:

* April 6-7 – Pluto stations retrograde at 5-Capricorn
* April 7, 2010 – Saturn re-enters tropical Virgo
* April 26, 2010 – Saturn opposes Uranus (4th opposition)
* May 23, 2010 – Jupiter opposes Saturn (first time since 1990-91)
* May 27-28, 2010 – Uranus enters tropical Aries
* May 30th, 2010 – Saturn stations direct motion
* June 5-6, 2010 – Jupiter enters tropical Aries
* June 6-7, 2010 – Mars enters tropical Virgo
* June 8, 2010 – Jupiter conjoins Uranus

* July 5, 2010 – Uranus stations retrograde at 0-Aries
* July 8, 2010 – Jupiter turns North in declination
* July 11, 2010 – New Moon total eclipse at 19-Cancer (not seen in
N. America)
* July 21, 2010 – Saturn re-enters tropical Libra for good
* July 23, 2010 – Jupiter stations retrograde
* July 25, 2010 – Jupiter Squares Pluto
* July 26, 2010 – Fifth Saturn/Uranus opposition
* July 31, 2010 – Mars & Jupiter turn S in Declination

* August 3, 2010 – Jupiter, retrograde, Squares Pluto again
* August 6, 2010 – Venus turns South in Declination
* August 13-14, 2010 – Uranus re-enters tropical Pisces
* August 16, 2010 – Jupiter Opposes Saturn
* August 20, 2010 – Mercury retrogrades in Virgo
* August 21, 2010 – Saturn Squares Pluto

* September 8, 2010 – Saturn turns South in declination
* September 8, 2010 – New Moon at 15-Virgo
* September 8, 2010 – Venus enters Scorpio
* September 8-9, 2010 – Jupiter re-enters tropical Pisces
* September 12, 2010 – Mercury stations direct
* September 14, 2010 – Pluto stations direct
* September 14, 2010 – Mars enters Scorpio
* September 19, 2010 – Jupiter conjoins Uranus in Pisces
* October 8, 2010 – Venus stations retrograde in Scorpio
My forecast is not positive: The planetary transits above clearly show
that the economy will contract further. The Treasury bond market is not
favorable; moreover, according to my calculations, I see the rise to
10,000+ points of the Dow Jones to be an “illusion” considering
double-digit unemployment, the housing crash, the coming commercial real
estate crash and continued weak consumer spending. Because the banks are
not lending – which is what they are in business to do in the first
place – we can expect the credit crunch and business contraction to
continue into 2010.

Some technical economists are seeing red flags appear on their charts,
seeing that the Dow is only 18 points about its own average of the last
200+ plus days. This indicates that the stock market is overbought.

Commentator James Howard Kunstler observes:

“The sense that Wall Street has pulled off a coup d’etat and taken over
the machinery of the United States is the most powerful meme out there
now, and its power is growing in magnitude every day among all classes
of Americans. I can’t say how much it reflects reality. Even if it is
a result of sheer happenstance – the tragic evolution of an industrial
economy into a financial finagling economy – the citizens will still
experience it as a stealing of their future.

Whatever else one might say about American culture, it is keenly attuned
to a sense of heroes and villains. We take great pride in our ability
to blow away the bad guys. And life imitates art, as Oscar Wilde
observed. If a zombie virus is on the loose in America, the first
infections showed up in the zombie banks, among the zombie bankers.
Watch out, Lloyd Blankfein! Woody is on his way….”

The Messenger Wore A Skirt

None of this would have happened if the powers that be back in the 1990s
had listened to one woman and her team at the Commodity Futures Trading
Commission (CFTC) who was forced out by then-Federal Reserve Chairman
Alan Greenspan and Clinton’s U.S. Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin.

“History already has shown that Greenspan was wrong about virtually
everything, and Brooksley was right,” says Frank Partnoy, a former
Wall Street investment banker who is now a professor at the University
of San Diego law school. “I think she has been entirely vindicated.
. . . If there is one person we should have listened to, it was
Brooksley.”

It never amazes me how gender discrimination can lead to wide-spread
later catastrophe such as the one that the United States now faces. This
discrimination was faced former CFTC Chair Brooksley Born – one of the
most fascinating women many Americans have never heard of.

Women are often attacked by groups of males for not being “reasonable”
and for being “stubborn” when being warned about the future consequences
of their actions. This is especially true for brilliant women in
positions of power and was no less true for Brooksley Born, whose
removal from a important position led to the economic meltdown that the
country now experiences.

A former prospect for Attorney General in the Clinton Administration,
Born was passed over in favor of Janet Reno because Bill Clinton found
her “too boring.” A long-time friend of Hilliary Clinton, Brooksley Born
was offered the chairmanship of the CFTC in 1996. Her battles with the
powers-that-be in the Federal Reserve and Treasury Department would
later led to her ousting in what has been called a “typical Washington
turf war.”

This “turf war” ultimately resulted in Greenspan and Rubin allowing the
derivatives market to continue wholly unregulated – and no questions
asked – leading to what is now surely another Great Depression.

Born, a 1960’s-era graduate of Stanford University and Stanford Law
School who was the first female president of the Stanford Law Review,
was an expert on derivatives. Because Over-The-Counter (OTC) derivatives
were under the CFTC’s jurisdiction Born was shocked at the threat
these posed to the economy of the United States.

In a 1996 conversation with Greenspan, who was chairman of the Federal
Reserve Bank, Born related what Greenspan said to her while probing her
philosophy over lunch in Greenspan’s private dining room at the Fed
Bank’s headquarters in Washington D.C.

“Well, Brooksley, I guess you and I will never agree about
fraud,” Born, said she clearly remembers Greenspan saying.
“What is there not to agree on?” Born says she replied.

“Well, you probably will always believe there should be laws against
fraud, and I don’t think there is any need for a law against
fraud,” she recalls. Greenspan, Born says, believed the market would
take care of itself.
Undeterred, Born continued to warn Greenspan, Rubin, and anyone who
would listen that the unregulated market of OTC derivatives trading and
credit-default swaps was a tick time bomb. She was attacked for looking
into this area.

“Nominally and statutorily, OTC derivatives were under the CFTC’s
jurisdiction, and the CFTC had exercised its discretion to partly exempt
the market,” Born said. “But kept some powers and responsibilities that
it had no ability or possibility of exercising or enforcing. Although I
was willing to be persuaded otherwise, I felt strongly that while heavy
regulation was not required, transparency was needed, and some federal
regulator should have information before a disaster occurred rather than
only afterwards.”

Born wrote a “concept” paper on the effects of OTC derivatives.

“There was a firestorm of criticism from the large OTC derivatives
dealers, and they were supported by other financial regulators,” she
said.

Heading her off at the pass was Alan Greenspan and Robert Rubin, who
were said to be “joined at the hip” in getting Born to back off.

See – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Brooksley_Born
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Brooksley_Born>

“It wasn’t a regulatory effort, Born said. “We were just asking
questions! The concept release didn’t propose any rules. Alan
Greenspan, Arthur Levitt, and Robert Rubin all said that these questions
should not be asked and urged Congress to pass a bill that would forbid
the commission from taking any regulatory steps on over-the-counter
derivatives.”

Now the story is finally coming out. On Tuesday, October 20, Frontline
will feature a report called “The Warning” on Born’s attempts to stop
the growth of the unregulated derivatives market.

The political part of what has to date appeared to be an economic
problem is resolving into a crisis of authority and legitimacy,”
Kunstler says. “When those in charge of a nation’s livelihood prove to
be comprehensively false and dishonest, the economic automatically turns
political.

“Nobody believes the bankers anymore, of course, and nobody believes the
interlocutors of the bankers – the Federal Reserve chairman, the
Secretary of the Treasury, the heads of the SEC and a dozen other
regulatory bodies – and increasingly the charming figure in the White
House cannot be believed on these issues of the nation’s livelihood.”

THIS WEEK AUGUST Aug 28-Sept 3
A week of difficult beginnings. The Cardinal T-Square creates pressure and short tempers as well as a host of other frustrations. Questions of action, effectiveness, fairness and pure force of will all come to the surface during this challenging week.

Since the T-square opens in Aries (specifically very early Aries) it will be all about taking action, or forced action or hands tied behind your back while someone is demanding you take action! Be very careful about things that you begin now, since they are seriously likely to have TONS of hidden strings attached, not just strings actually, I’d say steel chains is more to the point. No, this isn’t a good time to make a commitment or start something new – unless of course you want to become a lifelong slave to this new thing! I certainly don’t wish that on anyone!

The deeper hidden meaning of this particular cycle is all about the Solstice/Equinox degrees, which relate to the concept of the emerging power of the divine female energy. The challenge here is that the status quo, forces of control that are currently in power do NOT like this one bit and will pull any means necessary to stop the emerging light from breaking through. Make no mistake about it, this is a battle between the dark and the light. And things will seem temporarily harder for those of the light.

But this is temporary, and serves to remind us to connect TO THE LIGHT as your source of well-being and nourishment. The instant we look to human sources for our power, then the feminine energy of love, authenticity, compassion, wholeness, unity and joy instantly cease to operate. The challenge of course is to remember this when someone tries to pull some kind of nasty power play in your direction. Remember, authentic love does not seek to dominate or control. These are the power dramas that will emerge over the week.

Aries: Since the focus of this weeks T-Square is right on your head, so to speak, you will be swept into the middle of the current events. Anything that uses force, bullying tactics or revels in domination or hurting others is the problem. Fake happiness, love and joy may be hard for you to distinguish from the real thing if you are overly attached to power for it’s own sake. Beware the lie – especially the ones you tell yourself – there is much at stake.

Taurus: This week, you struggle to communicate issues of justice in ways that are definitive and also get your point across. It is not likely to be easy. The biggest challenge comes from setting aside any wounded pride or hurt feelings in order to stay objective. You may have to be willing to surrender the battle in order to win a much bigger war. Hard in the moment, but gratifying in the end.

Gemini: Social justice is an issue, a question and a concern this week. Just turn on the news and listen to the debate about health care reform, or green energy standards or about a dozen others. The fight between those who want to stay where they are and those who want to enforce change creates friction that you are in the middle of. Your job, should you choose to accept it 007 is to juggle, balance and negotiate between these two violently opposed forces.

Cancer: You feel the pressure over the weekend, it’s as if someone has lit a match under you and literally won’t allow you to get any rest. Don’t let yourself suffer from burnout, drink your Chamomile tea at night and be sure to get your rest. Mars in Cancer wants to try to keep you dancing all night long, no matter how tired you get. You’re just going to have to find ways to get your R & R between song breaks!

*********************************

Leo: Your kind of sitting pretty, as a bystander to all the action. But how are you going to act once these warring factions want to rip each other to shreds? You CAN step in with a solution if you choose to, but these are dangerous waters. Just be careful that you don’t get your own head bitten off. Your input is needed, but care is also highly recommended – protect yourself.

Virgo: It’s into the lions mouth for you. That’s the only way your going to be able to extract the gold tooth. This is a highly delicate and dangerous operation and requires surgical precision, careful planning and the courage to step forward and carry out the plan. Make sure your Novocain needle is ready to numb that lion’s jaw before you go and excavate the golden tooth.

Libra: Darlin’ I feel you this week. Please be extra careful about what you think, and how you communicate it. The pressure of black and white thinking can get to be too much for the best of us, so try to take a break, find balance and revel in the grey areas of life. Actually, why not take a break, take a walk, enjoy the trees and stop thinking about anything at all at least once a day this week? It will help more than you can know.

Scorpio: You’re on fire this week, so energy isn’t the problem, it’s a matter of directing in ways that don’t ignite the powder keg of conflict all around you. The energy/pressure is directed at your home, women, motherhood and/or angry women in your life. You can do something worthwhile with it, just be aware that the outside influences are making someone very uncomfortable.

Sagittarius: Some kind of harsh reality has sunk in over the past few weeks and you’ve come to the realization that you’ll have to make the most out of an imperfect situation. This is a long-term issue, so you will need to make peace with it as well. Your best progress now comes from working with groups and uniting your social circle around a common goal or cause.

Capricorn: Chaos, unpredictability, family drama. Has your life suddenly started to resemble the daytime soap operas? It sure looks like it from my end. On top of it all, your electronics/cars/computers seem to want to go fritz-fritz at the worst possible moment. Maybe this is a good time to take refuge in the simple (non-electrical) parts of life. How about a nice home-cooked meal? A walk in the park? Take it easy.

Aquarius: A house that is divided against itself can rarely get anything done (but try telling that to the Government!). So, before you start to move or expend your energy/resources make a clear plan, set your goals and stick to a course of action. It may seem hard to do, but in the long run it is waaaaay easier than the chaos of false starts and repeated efforts.

Pisces: Your actions are meeting with success and possibly even some recognition. Things aren’t exactly easy, but you now have the chance to prove yourself head and shoulders above the rest. What does this mean? You can dominate any area you choose and put yourself in the position to call the shots and dictate the rules.

Election Day Astrology – Sex Scandals?

October 31st, 2008 by auracle · No Comments

The most troubling thing about election day is that the transiting Saturn – Uranus Opposition (exact on Nov 4th) is also squaring transiting Venus. Venus will have completed her Transiting T-square to Saturn and Uranus, coming into exact square with both planets on Nov 3rd. This is an unsettling T-square all on it’s own because it is both financially unstable and rife with philosophical/negotiation breakdowns. So much for both political parties getting along.

But this isn’t all, Transiting Venus will be in EXACT opp to the US Mars on Nov 5th and square the US Neptune on Nov 6th. BOTH Saturn and Uranus are applying to make hard aspects (repeatedly) to the US Neptune in the next 6 mos.

THIS MEANS THAT EVENTS SET OFF ON ELECTION
DAY/WEEK WILL CREATE INTERNAL STRIFE FOR THE
US – WELL INTO 2009.

People, and the US as a whole will be feeling angry and ready to fight. Also, anyone who tells you the housing crash is over is just plain lying. It’s not over. Not by a long shot. The entire next 4 year administration will b forced to look at this problem, as well as the problem of dwindling resources, food supplies and other basics of life.

These problems will continue regardless of who takes the White House. For my money, I say Obama is the clear winner to the people, but the McCaine Republicans will try to steal it and it will be an ugly battle. Computers are the culprit. Perhaps even some good old fashioned protests will get stirred up. Mars is the focus of all this energy. We can expect Election Day to trigger all the standard angry, warlike results. But don’t forget that Mars also rules sexuality. I think we are in for more salacious sex scandals than you can shake a, umm, stick at.

Obama and the Void Moon

February 13th, 2008 by auracle · No Comments

Just based on the Void Moon in his candidacy announcement on Feb 10, 07 at 10am, it’s hard to imagine Obama winning. The Void Moon is indeed a formidable force. Have any of YOU tried to make anything stick that you did on a Void Moon? It’s nearly impossible for most people to do. (For clarification on this check my blog post: ) Basically what I am saying here is that the Void is working against Obama’s candidacy. HOWEVER, the Void still has an impact on the world. That impact is to DEEPEN THE DISCUSSION, make people reflect on what is important and do some inner emotional and spiritual housekeeping. Always a good thing in my book.

Right now, as all this presidential prediction discussion is flying around I see so many Astrologers forget to make note of the current RETROGRADE MERCURY and the current RETROGRADE SATURN. Both of which indicate upcoming changes in trend and overall direction. Mercury goes direct on Feb 19th – which means all of the current discussion will be revised (endlessly) until Early March. Saturn changes direction in May indicating a major change in our collective approach to authority figures, who we take seriously and why, as well as our understanding of the RULES OF ENGAGEMENT.

So many Astrologers also seem to forget that we have another Eclipse season before candidates are announced formally (and it is an *ss kicker too!) The next set of Eclipses take place in August. Get ready for a serious game of hardball. As I keep saying, it ‘aint over yet, and before it ends the plot (and drama) WILL THICKEN.

Today is the chinese New Year – Happy Rat year

February 7th, 2008 by auracle · No Comments

The Chinese New Year Starts today. You’ve probably seen it all over the news, since every year there is a news story on it. I wrote a previous post on the Chinese Year of the Rat which you should check out for more information.

Rat years are better for some Chinese birth signs than others. Here is a quick guideline for who should do well during this year of the Rat, and further down you will find a quick calculator for finding your own Chinese birth Animal, with longer love match and year forecasts in it.

The Year of the Rat is best for those born in:

Rat – 1900 1912 1924 1936 1948 1960 1972 1984 1996 2008
Dragon – 1904 1916 1928 1940 1952 1964 1976 1988 2000
Ox – 1901 1913 1925 1937 1949 1961 1973 1985 1997

The Year of the Rat is good for:

Monkey – 1908 1920 1932 1944 1956 1968 1980 1992
Snake – 1905     1917    1929    1941    1953    1965    1977    1989    2001
Pig – 1911 1923 1935 1947** 1959 1971 1983 1995 2007**

It is a more challenging year for:

Cat – 1903 1915 1927 1939 1951 1963 1975 1987 1999
Rooster – 1909 1921 1933 1945 1957 1969 1981 1993 2005
Horse -1906* 1918 1930 1942 1954 1966* 1978 1990 2002

This is a year of major change which is often difficult for:

Tiger – 1902 1914 1926 1938 1950 1962 1974 1986 1998
Dog – 1910 1922 1934 1946 1958 1970 1982 1994 2006
Goat – 1907 1919 1931 1943 1955 1967 1979 1991 2003

*The year of the Fire Horse. Anyone one born in this year is considered to be so head strong and full of impulse that they are often dangerous and disruptive to the home. It was considered especially bad to be a girl born in this year and is called hinoeuma. In ancient China girl babies born in a Fire Horse year were often drowned, and were considered unmarriageable. In 1966 the abortion rate in China was so high that it was shocking because so many parents did not want to have Fire Horses in their homes. Many other parents simply waited until the following year to register the birth of their child to help the baby avoid the prejudice such Fire Horse children (especially girl children) would receive.

**The year of the Golden Pig. Considered in Chinese Astrology to be the luckiest of all years. The most auspicious time to start a business or other profit making venture. To me this is because of the alignment of Jupiter and Pluto which takes place once every 60 years, and therefore is always present during the year of the Golden Pig. This is a generally lucky influence – but it will ONLY be lucky for you personally if it is making good aspects for YOU.

Pollsters so unreliable Newspapers look to Astrology

January 25th, 2008 by auracle · 1 Comment

With the pollsters all over the place – and very unreliable these days, the Huffington Post launched a new segment called HuffPollstrology which is certainly entertaining. But it’s not enough to predict the winners, for that you need a real Astrological look, like the one I give in my 2008 Presidential Prediction post. Check it out, and then remember that there’s a looooong way between here and November.

I fully expect both sets of Eclipses to create drama and upset in the pollsters predictions.  Those Eclipses take place in February (7th & 21st) just in time to have an impact on the Feb 5th Super Tuesday (some news outlets are calling it SuperDuper Tuesday) – where 24 states hold elections. And then in August (1st & 16th) – just in time for the political Conventions to be really Unconventional.

The February 7 Solar Eclipse takes place conjunct Neptune and Retrograde Mercury (Mercury Retrograde) – virtually guaranteeing some upsets and confusion.  The Feb 21 Lunar Eclipse gives us the Moon conjunct Saturn both opposed to the Sun – all of which paints the picture of gender opposition.  The August 1 Solar Eclipse once again conjuncts Mercury which literally has the impact of throwing someone’s plans out the window. The August 16 Lunar Eclipse gives us the Moon conjunct Neptune and Chiron opposing the Sun, suggesting a deep chasm among what American’s feel are their real ‘family values’ and how they are expressed in the political landscape.  Fasten your seatbelts, we’re about to go where no man has gone before.

Presidential Astrological Forecast for 2008

January 14th, 2008 by auracle · 22 Comments

Of all the Political candidates charts I looked at when creating this Presidential Astrology forecast for 2008 – and I looked at all of them except the few that don’t look like they can even get past the primaries, here are the ones that look the best for Election day, Nov 4, 2008.

Democratic Candidate Prediction: Hillary Clinton – her transits are good enough to win the nomination at the Democratic Convetion and to win the presidency on November 4th. Most helpful to Hilary throughout the whole election season is the ABSENCE of tough Saturn transits, which keep her relatively free of problems during her campaign. Her best bet for running mate is John Edwards, but I still bank on Barack Obama being well-heard and even more well-seen this political season, and those of the future – but Edwards has better transits than him this year.

Forecast for the Democratic Convention: on August 25th – 28th in Denver Co. The transits for this convention speak to long term planning and an overall focus on business and business dealings, especially connected to the masses and communicating with and to humanity. The agenda that comes out of this convention will be focused on building profitable businesses, communication fields, technology and projects designed to serve the masses. The Saturn Jupiter trine present during both conventions says that our next president will have a really brutal fight on his or her hands as they must make bitter enemies sit down at a table together and work out an agreement.

Republican Candidate Prediction: Rudolph Guiliani – His transits are also extremely good on Election day – Nov 4 – good enough to win. But Guiliani has a few really bad ones too – from Saturn, which Hillary is spared. For Guilani’s own sake I hope he doesn’t win. The transits that he is getting at this time could lead him to real danger and even peril to him and his family. The best aspects for Republican running mate are found in Mit Romney’s chart.

Forecast Republican Convention – Minneapolis-St. Paul Sept. 1-4 This convention takes place on a Sun – Saturn Eclipse. This Astrologers opinion of such a date is that it is truly horrible. I would never counsel anyone to do anything important on this Eclipse. Not only that, but I REALLY HOPE that these Republicans have no knowledge about the Astrology of the day. The only thing that could be started on such a day is CONTROL, OPPRESSION, DOMINATION, and CRUELTY. In other words: regardless of the candidate, the agenda that comes out of the SEPTEMBER REPUBLICAN CONVENTION will be earmarked with control and domination – as indicated by the Sun-Saturn eclipse. I could call this a sign of very bad things. Looking at Guiliani’s chart and transits, I doubt even he is aware of the extent of what he’d be getting himself involved with, but he most certainly does have aspects that speak of secret liaisons that put him outside the bounds of the rules other people have to follow.

My Presidential Astrology forecast for 2008 – prediction: The election results will be hotly contested, with both candidates laying claim to the win. Remember, in my 2008 forecast I speak about a technology battle in the fall – near Election time. Oh yes, those election machines will be hotly debated. Ultimately it will be Hilary who will be the President. It is in Hilary’s lifepath to occupy a position of great power and authority, especially connected to politics and the masses, and especially during these 3 years of her life. She has messages and information that it is her destiny to convey and to share with the public. There is really no downside to this aspect of her higher purpose. As tough and abrasive as many people find her, she brings abilities and talents to the table that will benefit humanity as a whole.

Guiliani’s destiny on the other hand is that he is born to be a famous public personality. This year of his life (63/4) is about dealing with power and maintaining a certain amount of political control, as well as control over the public. Especially in relation to business and business dealings.

For this Presidential Astrology forecast for 2008 both conventions take place during the Jupiter – Saturn trine, which some Astrologers are calling a great blessing. This Astrologer has a very different and more reserved point of view on it. Jupiter and Saturn are like mixing a volatile chemical compound like TNT and then trying to carry it across some mountains, where it could explode at any moment. Any blessings they bring are at best the result of an uneasy truce. Fortunately, this 2nd of the 3 trines is weighted towards the blessings of Jupiter and will overcome the control and domination that Saturn lusts after. But we’ll still have to deal with the bitter struggle it brings. Since Jupiter and Saturn are both sitting in earth signs now (Virgo and Capricorn respectively), the struggles will be all about financial dealings, the physical world and who controls it. (Read my post on The Year of the Rat.)

Both Democratic and Republican agendas will be dealing heavily with life – saving it and/or going to war. The Republican agenda is far more aggressive than the Democratic one. War is constant and unending with the Republican agenda, not so with the Democratic one. Dems focus more on business dealings. The Astrological power of the Republican agenda is stronger than the Democratic one, but not nearly as humanitarian. My money is on Hilary, not only because I believe she can and will win, but also because I see the Republican agenda as bringing irrevocable damage and danger to the people, the planet and any hopes for peace.

Remember, these are my opinions of the ASTROLOGY – not the politics. I leave it to the pundits to duke it out on the political merits of the candidates. So, this is my Presidential Astrological Forecast for 2008.

Recent events make it necessary for me to state the rules for commenting on this blog: NO personal attacks allowed. I welcome a wide range of opinions, but anyone who posts personal or vitriolic statements will be banned from posting in the future.

I am building a community here, it is for all of my readers to meet each other and share ideas, it is a place for me to share what I know with you. This is a service to my readers who find this information valuable.

Astrology can only predict the trends, other forces always come into play and humans are not robots, there is always free will. Entities like the Media can (and have) influenced these events. No Astrologer can either predict this OR control it. I will restate the core message from above for those who seem to have missed it: The Republican agenda is far more powerful than the Democratic one. In other words, the Democrats are weak, the Republicans are strong – but the agenda they have is NOT good for the people. The message here is that we are in for more difficult times in the US, no matter what.

For a review of my Astrology trends of 2008 visit that series of blog posts. You will see there that I have been very accurate about a lot of things including:

  • Continued escalation of gas prices and it’s effect on food prices
  • The tanking of the US dollar
  • Crashing housing markets (I also predicted the timing of the rise and PEAK of this housing boom)
  • Success for Apple and Iphone (even way back when they were calling Steve Jobs a has-been)
  • A boom in Eco-markets (like ethanol, organic food, etc.)
  • Rising Gold prices
  • The rising value of the British Pound & Euro

2008 Astrology Horoscope Predictions – Part 6 Conclusion and overview

January 6th, 2008 by auracle · No Comments

The overall Astrology trends for 2008:

Continuing struggle and problems in banking and the mortgage businesses. Housing prices declining for the next 18 months (until mid 2009). There will be periods of great opportunity for some people in these areas.

Increase in small business, creating most of the economic growth this year, especially in the arena called Eco-Boom. This will bring ecological business front and center in the future, especially after August this year. This will be in part due to crisis in public services like electricity. Also very likely this year: further climate and ecological crisis. Earthquakes, more fights over land (if that’s even possible).

Problems in the Middle East won’t settle this year, I expect new countries to get into the act; Egypt, Iran, Korea.

Gold will go up a great deal this year, maybe even doubling. The US dollar will fall as much as 20%. The Euro will stay strong as will the UK Pound. Other areas of growth will be technology and the multiplication of devices that make our lives easier, with advances in tech, cell phones and operating systems moving at the speed of light – especially towards the end of 2008. Into 2009 we will begin to see major problems with power though.

This spring is the best time for love and marriage that we’ve seen in several long, emotionally frustrating years. It is equally good for business. Art and creative projects are inspiring and profitable. States like California and New York will profit a great deal from creative output: intellectual properties, movies, books, music, fashion etc.

Stay tuned for my POLITICAL PREDICTIONS for this years HEATED political climate. I will also be posting a look at the transits to the USA’s chart for more detail of what to expect in 2008. And, not to leave the movies out of it, I will post my OSCAR PICKS for the Academy Awards here as well (although I for one have been horrified by how bad this years movies have been).

2008 Astrology Horoscope Predictions – Part 5

Early November; a very difficult and conflict laden Grand Cross emerges when Venus (who expresses values) fights wtih Saturn (the rulemaker) and they both disagree with Uranus (the needs of the public or masses), and just to confuse things, Pallas Athena (the asteroid) throws a healthy dose of misinformation into the mix making it hard for anyone to think – or see – clearly. This is not a nice picture to see with US elections taking place this month. I read it as computer monkey business being used to defeat the will of the public, which results in a bitter fight (history, likes to repeat itself). Sure my political bias is showing, but mark these words. And since I am not a journalist, I am not bound by journalistic rules that hide the truth. This alignment lasts until the 9th when Venus joins Pluto and calls in the “Big Guns” of business to back her up. November 2nd Neptune Goes Direct in aspect to Saturn indicating that someone is very inflexible in their point of view, and bringing even more problems to the Mortgage, banking and finance areas.

For the rest of November business is favored and makes great progress. We’re going to see the Eco-Boom start in earnest now. At the same time, some sort of legal or Supreme Court battle seeks to tie red-tape around the free agents of the world who are out there really getting things done. What a beaurocratic nightmare! The bean counters are trying to take over the world with petty rules and legistlation. But it doesn’t matter because all forms of independent business can really make fantastic progress. Aspects in late November insure that Good will overcome the petty bean counting evil and controlling agenda that is forcing itself foward. Also in Late November we get yet ANOTHER stellium of Mercury, Sun and Mars – which shows us a team joined together in pursuit of conquest, war, and winning. We might as well be hanging out with Ceasar watching the gladiators fight Lions.

December starts with someone on the warpath, perhaps Bush, but it seems impossible to imagine him getting MORE agressive. This trend, tied to the beaurcratic nightmare of last month indicates a very thorny political mess. It was legal decisions that put this administration into power, and it is legal decisions that they will use to try to STAY in power – no matter what the will of the people really is. Battles over information, fact and details heat up as December progresses as nothing less than power over ‘the world’ hangs in the balance. But the public, especially through the internet and community infrastructure, is not nearly as passive as some might hope. A unifying force brings the masses together in ways that spell real trouble for unfair, unfit and unfitting leadership. It is business, and business people who will step forward with solutions, systems, and the means to finance them.

Then near Christmas the Sun and then Mars trigger the current 2007 alignment of Pluto and Mars kicking off aggression and conflict once again; all of it taking place way down South in the Tropic of Capricorn, which suggests warlike actions coming from that side of the globe. As the year comes to an end, the real trouble comes from a conflict between authority and the masses, this usually spells protest, riot and opression. As I stated at the beginning of this report; it is our community and unity with others that is most important now.

2008 Astrology Horoscope Predictions – Part 4

FALL: Venus is almost never alone for the next several months, so her action is powerful, and very much tied to working with other people. From August 11 – 18 she is tied up with Saturn (Capricorn and Aquarius) enforcing tough rules, financial limitations and moral lessons of conscience. Mercury (Gemini and Virgo) ONCE AGAIN joins the party August 14, bringing with him news and information, he continues to travel with Venus until September 20. But before they part ways they both join Mars (Aries and Scorpio) from Sept 3-19 – this is THE time to create plans, find ways to re-use and recycle and to strategize and take action. After this Venus is now on her own, as she escapes Mars giving chase just as he overtakes Mercury who turns Retrograde (read this like he’s dropped out of the race to pursue a different interest or agenda).

September poses a very serious focus on the assets, needs and resources of planet earth. We all get more aware of being sustainable. My definition of sustainable is this: anything that supports itself and nourishes all who participate in it. This applies to earth’s resources, business dealings and politics, and is NOT just a concept of going GREEN – it represents wholeness and balance in business as well, it includes fair trade practices, organic growing, less use of credit, more real value backed trade and dealmaking, and above all else – fairness. Ongoing patterns in September support the hard work that needs to be done, especially through deal making and peacekeeping. True leaders this month will be those who can negotiate and make peace.

In October Mercury returns to his ‘King’ (boss, CEO or other ruler) to share the information he got while traveling with Venus and Mars. This is like a cloak and dagger espionage story where the spy (Mercury) went into the battle zone (Mars) in hot pursuit of the thing of value (Venus) like diamonds, money, secrets or a woman. The king, ruler or CEO may or may not be interested in helping to forward the deals and agendas that Mars, Venus and Mercury forged together while they hung out in Libra – the house of deal making. October 25 Chiron goes direct trining Mercury – bringing happy news.
