2008 Astrology Horoscope Predictions – Part 4

2008 Astrology Horoscope Predictions – Part 4

FALL: Venus is almost never alone for the next several months, so her action is powerful, and very much tied to working with other people. From August 11 – 18 she is tied up with Saturn (Capricorn and Aquarius) enforcing tough rules, financial limitations and moral lessons of conscience. Mercury (Gemini and Virgo) ONCE AGAIN joins the party August 14, bringing with him news and information, he continues to travel with Venus until September 20. But before they part ways they both join Mars (Aries and Scorpio) from Sept 3-19 – this is THE time to create plans, find ways to re-use and recycle and to strategize and take action. After this Venus is now on her own, as she escapes Mars giving chase just as he overtakes Mercury who turns Retrograde (read this like he’s dropped out of the race to pursue a different interest or agenda).

September poses a very serious focus on the assets, needs and resources of planet earth. We all get more aware of being sustainable. My definition of sustainable is this: anything that supports itself and nourishes all who participate in it. This applies to earth’s resources, business dealings and politics, and is NOT just a concept of going GREEN – it represents wholeness and balance in business as well, it includes fair trade practices, organic growing, less use of credit, more real value backed trade and dealmaking, and above all else – fairness. Ongoing patterns in September support the hard work that needs to be done, especially through deal making and peacekeeping. True leaders this month will be those who can negotiate and make peace.

In October Mercury returns to his ‘King’ (boss, CEO or other ruler) to share the information he got while traveling with Venus and Mars. This is like a cloak and dagger espionage story where the spy (Mercury) went into the battle zone (Mars) in hot pursuit of the thing of value (Venus) like diamonds, money, secrets or a woman. The king, ruler or CEO may or may not be interested in helping to forward the deals and agendas that Mars, Venus and Mercury forged together while they hung out in Libra – the house of deal making. October 25 Chiron goes direct trining Mercury – bringing happy news.

2008 Astrology Horoscope Predictions – Part 3

For most of July people are feeling frantic and pressured to get things done, especially in business and finances. There is an insatiable feeling in the air, which isn’t very balanced or moderate. From July 5-16 Mars travels with Saturn playing BAD COP with bad manners, breaking all the rules and a serious tough guy attitude: think Michael Chikles’ Mackey on ‘The Shield’ – you definitely don’t want to be on this guys bad side.

August is Eclipse season again. The Solar Eclipse: 1 Aug 2008 09Leo31 – is tied to Mercury. We can expect to hear major news stories announced on the 1st or 2nd of August surrounding a public or political leader, loss and/or sudden change. Again, this aspect is connected to coups, resignations and assassinations – in Leo, it literally speaks of the King or leader. Because of the aspects of the day I expect there to be lies, cover-ups and misinformation circulating about these events. In this case, don’t believe everything you read.

Then the Lunar Eclipse: 16 Aug 2008 24Aqu21 brings with it a serious mixed bag of Astrological goodies. The Eclipse itself is tied to Neptune and Chiron, triggering their Retrograde degrees. This brings secret information (and previous lies) to the surface, especially connected to the ongoing Mortgage and banking crises.

All though August conflict is at a fever pitch signaling something of destiny at work here where the battle for leadership and business dominance is similar to ‘too many cooks in the kitchen’ and nobody chopping vegetables! At the same time a conflicting picture emerges where Venus joins up with Mercury (again) and Saturn in Virgo as part of a Grand Trine with Vesta and Jupiter; I see this as the phoenix rising from the ashes and putting much needed systems of service, and sustainability into place. It is being called the Eco-Boom and it is where all the money is to be made in the next few years. By now Saturn has finally left his shadow, allowing us all to move past the issues from fall of ’07 that we’ve still been wrestiling with.

2008 Astrology Horoscope Predictions – Part 2

SPRING: Venus travels with Mercury through Pisces for the entire month of March (it actually begins on Feb 22). Picture it like this: the beautiful maiden travels with the town crier (or Newspaper Man) and together have deep philosophical discussions. The beauty (Venus) influences the columists perspective on money, values, beauty and art, softening him and bringing greater grace and more flourishes to his words. The writer (Mercury) influences her to speak and write and share ideas with the world.

Together they bring forth deep, penetrating and mesmerising works of art and language. This is particularly powerful for Taurus, Gemini, Libra and Virgo folks. And it could be a life-changing month for Pisceans. Another side effect of this chatty pairing is an incredible infatuation with all things PRETTY. Romance, grace, beauty and pure beauty are captivating, intoxicating, mesmerizing now. Not to mention love, oh dear, I can see more than a few of them falling and falling hard under this unbelievably romantic celestial pattern. The gossip magazines should be filled with stories of starlets in love and getting pregnant.

Late March/Early April Mars makes his final arm wrestling attack on Pluto bringing back all the conflict and fights from Oct 2007 and around New Years of 2008 (can you say writers strike, among other fights to the death). In APRIL Mercury teams up with the Sun from the 13th-19 to create a powerful grand trine with Pluto and Saturn. This period of time has the hallmarks for successful communications, sales, writing and speaking projects, the downside is that there is something obsessive about the energy involved. Jupiter Retrogrades on May 9th at 22′ Capricorn, Chiron turns around on May 25th at 21′ Aquarius, then Neptune Retrogrades the next day on May 26th at 24′ Aquarius; signaling a period of major change regarding long-term holdings, financial dealings, property and agriculture. Both individuals and corporations will have to change their long-term strategies in these areas for the rest of the year. These retrogrades happen in trine with Mecury (in Retrograde) and Ceres, giving a huge lift to written and spoken projects and ideas as well as marketing plans – although they may take the rest of the year to get completed, rewritten and perfected.

From May 29 – June 20 Venus (the maiden) joins the CEO (Sun), bringing delights, charm, beauty and sensuality with her. Together in Gemini this creates a huge amount of attention to leaders, royalty, politicians, writers and other communicators in leadership posiitions. She (Venus) softens him (the Sun) up, while he floods her with attention and affection, leaving them both in a prosperous, generous and warm-hearted mood. In short; there couldn’t be a better year for artistic and creative expression that leads to money, especially for Taurus, Leo, Gemini and Libra.

To add to this stunning alignment, Mercury will Retrograde back to meet up with Venus and the Sun on JUNE 6th. All three planets sit exactly at 17′ Gemini. This makes an exact trine to the Feb. 7 Solar Eclipse degree – meaning that someone stands to prosper amazingly from events triggered by that Eclpsee. Anyone with sensitive degrees aspected by this will have major happy events, like celebrations and victories at this time. Even though everything looks sunny and rosy on the surface, the unseen level (in the Sun chart) shows a lot of tension at the same time in the negotiation signs of Gemini, Virgo, Pisces and Sag. This means that agreements are uneasy, and can’t be fully trusted, so enjoy, but tread carefully. Then on June 27th Uranus turns Retrograde at 23′ Aquarius effecting utilities and other public services for the rest of 2008. As part of a small pattern including the Moon, Neptune and Chiron, we are going to see emerging community and female leadership at this time.

The BIG CHALLENGE is posed when Venus opposes Pluto June 16-19 re-igniting fights, war, conflict and trouble that was going on in Oct 2007 and around New Years of 2008. This time, the fight is about money, power and who controls what. At the same time Mars opposes Neptune causing even greater problems in the housing market with forclosures, credit problems and even a weakening US dollar (I expect the dollar to lose a good amount of value in 2008 – about 20%). I will be posting a separate article forcasting transits to the US chart. Fortunately the Mars aspect is short lived, but will be revisited later in Late July and mid August when Venus and then the Sun make the same opposition to Neptune. Read this as a good time to finish things, get out of financial burdens and obligations and just plain cut ties with the past.

2008 Astrology Horoscope Predictions – Part 1

2008 Astrology Horoscope Predictions – Part 1

This is part one of a 6 part Astrology forecast for 2008. I will be posting a new section each day until it is complete.

One of the great hallmarks for 2008 is that VENUS (ruler of Taurus and Libra) travels with company for a great deal of the year. We also have a series of planetary stelliums (when 3 or more planets bunch together). The Stelliums concentrate energy in certain areas and represent people joining forces with others and building or creating teams. This is very good news for people who have been on their own. Venus is usually a part of these concentrations of energy through 2008 which means that the concentrations are focused heavily on the use of money, movable wealth, resources, art, beauty and basic fundamental values. For this reason I am calling 2008 the year of GREATER VALUES. The real, deep meaning of Venus is that she is our own inner compass – those values which guide us forward in life, often called the conscience. Each of us has this inner compass, and this year her influence is crystallized, increased and made clear. To learn more about the compass that is Venus stay tuned to this Blog, where I will be releasing a CD called – “The Rest of the Secret” and will go into great detail about this principle, how it works – and most importantly how to use it in 2008.

As 2008 starts we find ourselves under the influence of Retrograde Mars & Saturn. Together these two retrogrades manage to sap the energy and vitality right out of most of our lives, not to mention leaving us all to wrestle with a few horrible flu outbreaks. Other areas affected by these two include business slowing down to a screeching halt, conflict and subversive aggressive action, and intense emotional battles. This is a very challenging time for Cancers, Capricorns, Virgo’s and Gemini’s in particular. Thankfully the Pluto – Mars opposition peaks on Jan 2 and we will be free of it’s influence by the 6th. But, still PLEASE BE CAREFUL ON THE ROADS tonight – this is a very dangerous aspect.

Mars Enters Shadow Sept 16 at 24′ Gemini
Station Rx Nov 15 at 12′ Cancer.
Mars Station Direct Jan 31 08 at 24′ Gemini
Leaves Shadow April 4 08 at 12′ Cancer

Saturn Retrogrades in Virgo at 9′ Dec 19th
SD on May 3 08 at 1’7″ Virgo
Leaves Shadow in Mid August

Eclipse’s this year: The Feb 7 Solar Eclipse is likely to bring sudden and embarrassing information to light about business leaders, companies or unethical political practices. These events are the types that cause resignations, corporate collapse and/or a serious loss of funding. Expect more banking trouble to emerge related to the sub-prime Real Estate collapse. But don’t expect the Banks to collapse, the government always bails out Banks and big business – it is the individual who is left holding the bag. Other areas that may be effected include public infrastructures like politics and public services like utilities, hospitals, police, railroads, transportation, etc.

The Feb 21 Lunar Eclipse could see the revelation of secret and hidden activities by authority figures and agencies such as the military, the government, white house, public servants, clergy and religious organizations.

Solar Eclipse: 7 Feb 2008 17Aqu44 – conjunct Chiron, Neptune and Rx Mercury
Lunar Eclipse: 21 Feb 2008 01Vir52 – Moon Conjunct Saturn both opposed to Sun

Late January through mid February; a line up of planets together in Aquarius focuses a great deal of attention on the needs of humanity and draws groups of people together around shared goals, values, hopes and dreams. This is something that I like to call divine community and more and more of us will be drawn to those we resonate with deeply. All of us will be feeling the need to draw closer to our teams and those we love and care about to create a spiritual community. Humanitarian goals, causes and plans will be well served by the groups we can involve ourselves with and the networks that we create. I consider 2008 to be the ‘Year of the Network’ meaning that our power, strength and safety will be largely a measure of the strength of the community network that we have. Soul families draw close and new ones are likely to connect during this time. The air signs: Aquarius, Gemini and Libra will feel called forward to speak their minds and express ideals in crystallized powerful ways. A time for clarity of purpose and group leadership. Powerful leaders can emerge now, especially those who speak a profound vision of the future. The biggest downside here is the temptation to squander this energy on gossip and distraction rather than meaningful progress.

Also in Late Jan early Feb Venus hangs out with Jupiter for about 2 weeks in Capricorn, essentially carrying on excessively bringing bright optimism, enthusiasm, luxuries and opportunities to many people who have waited and struggled for a very long time. Some of whom may suddenly find themselves flopped right into the lap of luxury with almost no warning! This aspect skims through Capricorn’s lives, but makes lasting changes for Pisces, Sagittarius, Taurus and Libra.
