The loose ends that began before summer begin to get wrapped up this month as the luminaries all change moods at the same time. It’s like we’ve all been on a long summer vacation, oh wait, we HAVE been on a long summer vacation - and the stars have been supportive of this time out of time. But we all have to get back to normal sooner or later, and much of it happens this month.
Mercury Retrograde alert! Mercury enters his shadow on the 3rd, he won’t go retro until the 24th but the whole cycle is in Libra and lasts well into October. Relationships, partnerships and contracts are all under heavy scrutiny and review during this cycle. Between the 3rd and the 24th we are getting advance notice of the ‘issues’ that he rest of the cycle will unearth.
On the 8th Jupiter turns Direct at 13′ Capricorn and then on the 9th Pluto turns Direct at 28′ Sagittarius. So if there is a prize or goal you’ve been putting off all summer - get ready because you will suddenly feel the need to plow full boar forward towards it once these two power players change directions. Because Jupiter is aligned with Saturn all month, much of this progress will be a direct result of current pain, problems and limitations. There’s nothing like a challenge to motivate people towards a new plan.
Aries: There’s a whole tangled mess of knots and string that you need to unwind, untie, wrap and organize this month and it’s called partnerships. Nothing is clear or straightforward. But you’re mission, should you choose to have a clear path forward through the underbrush, is to untangle the mess and make something organzed out of it. Nobody can do it for you, and it’s purely up to you how much effort you put in and what the rewards are that you get out of it. Weigh it all carefully, you need to address this with your eyes open.
Taurus: It’s time to create a set of semi-permanent, solid but malleable, carved-in-stone plans that are open to interpretation. In other words: don’t hesitate to make your plans and move forward with them, but be ready to change them and cling to your dreams and aspirations with everything you’ve got. This is one cycle where you WILL be able to attract the team, the partners and the help you need. The only downside with having a team is that then you’ve got to learn how to negotiate with them.
Gemini: You are standing on the precipice of having everything you want. The key of course is to learn to recognize it when the ‘total package’ walks into the room. You see, you could get stuck feeling like you are pulled between many different directions. You could also think that these options collide with each other. Let me make this perfectly clear, those many directions are within YOU - the package is all there. All you have to do is open it.
Cancer: Sept 15 is a New Moon in Pisces then Sept 29 is the Full Moon in Libra. A mixed bag of things emerges for you this month. On one hand great good luck and good fortune is opening up for you in your partnerships, but this blessing may come on the heels of something you need to give up or let go of. Releasing an old useless attitude or philosophy is extremely important if you hope to take full advantage of the new and good that’s coming your way - so don’t hang on to the past TOO tightly.
Leo: You are focused on the group and what the group needs and wants. Your feelings of loyalty to the ‘team’ are commendable but don’t be surprised if this same team you are defending suddenly acts unpredictably making you wonder why you even bothered. The Universe is trying to give you more freedom, so don’t cling too, too tightly to routines, tradition and the status quo. The current stars will break these, so learn to roll with the punches.
Virgo: SheEesh! What a month you have in store, I can hear my Jewish ancesters hitting their foreheads and saying oy-vey! Time to focus on what you can organize and dig into the hard work in front of you with both hands. This WILL BE your road to freedom when all the crazy, crazy chaos hits your arena of financial partnerships and alliances. Please, whatever you do, don’t be tempted to think that any final word you get this month is actually the FINAL word. Oh no, there is much negotiating and changing of minds for you to live through still.
Libra: Well, you are the center of the storm this month. The true secret to being a wizard in the world is to remain as the eye of the storm and allow the swirling, twirling mess to spin around you while YOU remain calm and centered. The more focused you can remain on what you want and how you want it, the better you will be. Do not be distracted by the man behind the curtain - that man who calls himself the wizard of Oz. The real wiz is you, don’t forget it!
Scorpio: A subsconscious conflict is coming to the surface this month and it effects your entire equalibrium. Your sector of secret and/or bedroom pleasures is being lit up like a 4th of July fireworks display. Wowza! That’s a whole lotta good time goin’ on for you. Is it something secret and dirty? If so, don’t expect yourself to be able to get away with it scott free. If nobody else punishes you, you’ll be sure to punish yourself, so be very careful where you tread this month.
Sagittarius: Pluto spends his last gasp on your doorstep between now and the end of ‘08. This ends a 15 YEAR cycle for you. Has it been good? Not? Now is the time to review it all, look it over carefully and bless it as you release and move onto something brand new. The good news is that now I’ve given you advance warning and you get to spend the next few months clearing out the rubble and releasing all the power-plays and intensity that this Pluto cycle has represented. Get ready for something new, it’s coming.
Capricorn: Jupiter moves forward in Capricorn on the 8th. You finally get the green light from the Universe to go ahead with your plans and goals. The screwy Mercury/Mars/Venus cycle in Libra will create drama though. So expect your career/marriage status to be up in the air and unsettled for the next few months. Oh, to heck with it, why not just focus on your career and leave this relationship stuff to sort itself out for the next few months? I think that might be a much easier way to deal with it. Focus on your goal, let the drama take care of itself.
Aquarius: Teams and groups are in sharp focus for you all month long. You’re sure to attract at least a few charming and delightful teammembers this month, which will bring a big smile to your face. Getting people all riled up and motivated by a dream, goal or aspiration is the key ingredient and leads you to be surrounded by exciting and stimulating new people. Just what the doctor ordered - a shot of excitement to help you get things done.
Pisces: Cockeyed optimism, delicate balance and unsteady alliances rule the month for you. Yes, you know it’s time to team up with people, yes you know there may be strange dealings ahead, yes you know you might not be able to fully count on what they are saying now. But you’ve got to make progress, so you’re willing to set sail with it - no matter how weird and unproven this ships track record might be. Well, try to minimize your risks, and then remember, no risk, no reward. Expect setbacks and changes and be prepared for anything and you’ll be on a good path.

Mercury continues to be Retrograde in Gemini until the 18th, but he won’t leave his shadow until the Fourth of July - which should make for an interesting display of patriotism, especially in the media and in computer discussions (both ruled by Mercury).
Also on the 18th, we have a Full Moon at 28′ Sagittarius, kicking off a cycle of large-scale exodus from some kind of group or allegiance over the next few weeks, it will be a very interesting month. The good news this month comes in the form of the protection being offered by the stars to lovers, artists and others who lead with their hearts.
But as for the rest of JUNE; mid-month aspects bring the concepts of lust and love together at last. With the planetary line-up in Gemini of Sun, Mercury and Venus we have a whole she-bang of duality facing us square in our mooney eyed reflections. You see, most of us on planet earth struggle with a polarity around relationships: lust vs love, security vs satisfaction. The whole madonna vs whore deal-i-o that pervades our mass consciousness has driven hordes of the population to take little blue ED pills and pump silocone into parts of our bodies where it never belonged. Wouldn’t it be good to have our cake (I mean sex) and enjoy it too? Today we finally get to examine these underlying assumptions and make a break for it to get away from past (frustrating) conditioning.
The first half of the month is filled with frustrations and power-struggles, even obsession. There’s a heavy duty arm wrestling match going on, especially between the 5th and the 17th, but then things should ease up some. But don’t say I didn’t warn you that some people are just plain voracious now. Most of June’s energy favors breaking things up and clearing them out, which makes this an ideal month to end contracts, get out of unwanted commitments and release yourself from cloying obligations. A few suggestions: trade the SUV in for a hybrid, retrofit your house for solar panals, prepare an area for a garden and generally cut loose any wasteful habits that are bad for you and the environment. This is also a month that is only good for temporary solutions to problems - not permanent ones.
aries - You start the month on some kind of a roll as everyone’s favorite ‘go-to’ guy or gal. This allows you to feel appreciated for your talents and abilities, which is very rewarding. One word of caution though: be sure that you aren’t being used for someone else’s agenda that serves THEIR goals but not your OWN. In other words, being appreciated is great and nice, just as long is it isn’t costing you progress on your own dreams. The question is, would you rather be popular or would you rather be loyal to yourself?
taurus - You are protected from any real harm this month, which is a good thing because somehow you suddenly find yourself tangled up in a battle of wills. Who will win? Well the battle is clearly over power and who has it. In any battle of power, the ‘winner’ is always the person who has access to their own personal power. Personal power means connecting to your inner source. The power is within, it isn’t connected to other people. The sooner you know that in your bones, the sooner you will be free of outside interference and frustrations.
gemini - You are very good at telling the right story to the right people this month and doing so will gain you some strong supporters. Just be sure that you are staying true in your stories, after all, once we start spinning things sideways it gets harder and harder to keep track of all the variations that everyone has heard. In the long run, it’s probably easier and less effort to just craft a clear, strong and compelling message that reflects your deepest truth. This is your challenge now: what exactly IS your deepest truth?
cancer - A complete overhaul of your daily routines is underway. You may quit a job, leave a network or group affiliation or just feel ‘over-it’ regarding a philosophy, form of education or ideology. “To everthing there is a season” and this season is for leaving behind the group-think that doesn’t bring you what you need. Don’t bother analyzing it, don’t bother explaining it. Fighting about it is just an exhaustion you don’t need, so try to aviod that. All you really need to do is be true to you. So if it aint workin’ for ya, then say sionara Sunshine.
leo - You can get things done this month, which makes you feel effective and at the center of the action. Meanwhile there is a whole heap of outward objection to what you are associated with. It is the philosophical conflicts that are at the heart of the matter. To win the battle but to fight an immoral war, well how do we justify this? Each of us must look into our own hearts to find what is morally right for themselves. Now you are being asked to align with your inner truth, anything less and you will only hurt yourself in the long run.
virgo - Aaack! I feel for the Virgin this month. So much to try to handle, so little help or clarity from others. Try and cut through the confusion, try not to get swept up in it. There is a tinge of hysteria taking place now, and you will want to aviod it at all costs. My sensitive mind-powered friend that you are; don’t allow other people’s confusion, anger, agression or verbal acrobatics to throw you off-center. It is only when you are IN your center that you know what is true. Then you can be the laser-beam that cuts to the heart of the matter.
libra - Self-expression is good and healthy, just be cautious that you don’t whip up a frenzy of hot-buttons and emotional reactiveness in your audience for no reason. Many people are hair-trigger now, and this is not a fun environment to live in (except for speed freaks and other adrenaline junkies). The last thing you want to do is ADD to the unpredictible, reactionary and heated environment. SOMEBODY needs to have a cool head, maybe it can begin with you?
scorpio - You are being forced into the forefront - like it or not. All eyes are on you to see how you react, how you handle things and what you do next. It is up to you to set the tone. This brings up mixed feelings in you: while secretly you’ve always wanted to be on center stage, you also dread the heat you take there. This is why you keep your deepest feelings so very private. Well now is the time to share them. It might not be fun or comfortable, but it’s time. It is also your road to the loyalty and and connection you truly desire.
sagittarius - ‘Say goodnight Gracie’ because there is something that you are letting go of this month. Perhaps it is a partnership. It will definitely change your role in public affiliations and groups, so be prepared to embrace the new and unexpected. There is something wildly unknown and even more unpredictable in your world now. The adventure part is exciting, just steer clear of the danger part.
capricorn - Some deep psychological duality is gnawing at you. It is probably unconscious, so all you feel is uneasy, without quite knowing why. Or else you are having heavy duty dreams that need interpeting or finally you may be sharing your bedroom with more than one partner and dealing with the emotional confusion that results. Time to resolve your inner duality, but this means going into the deep part of your nature - maybe you should get outside assistance.
aquarius - Social heat makes the sparks fly. Drama and all it’s attendant waves of gossip roll like waves through your life this week. For a detached Aquar-ee-eye you are paying damned close attention to it all. That’s because a social scene that you frequent is getting ready to collapse, and on top of all that your love life and creative output is suddenly on hyperactive fertility drugs. You are metaphorically pregnant, forget twins, these are at least triplets, maybe even quads.
pisces - A code of conduct is a great thing to have. This month you get to examine yours, including the unconscious parts that you probably inherited from your Dad. Once you drag it out into the light of day you can decide if you really agree with it or not. Then you can rewrite it according to your own real values and beliefs. Anything that doesn’t meet your true inner code isn’t worth doing, but first you’ve got to get clear on what that code IS, now you get to do so.
The Saturn Station Direct happened today at 2′ degrees Virgo.
This will have the strongest effect on Capricorns (who are ruled by Saturn) Aquarius’s (also ruled by Saturn in Ancient Astrology) and Virgo’s - since Saturn is actually IN Virgo.
Saturn in Virgo - What does it mean?
Saturn represents hardship and difficulty. Many times Astrologers try to candy coat him and say he has something to do with responsibilities that we must take on, either by choice or necessity. I disagree. I say it is rarely by choice and almost always filled with hardship and challenge. Saturn rules the collective shadow we face at any given time, or if you prefer he represents the dark shadows of the world. Remember, all bullies - Saturn included - work very hard to HIDE their smallness and meanness. If we hope to defeat him, we must look into the darkness and try to heal it. This isn’t for the fearful or the faint of heart.

That doesn’t mean we can’t do something good with Saturn’s energy. It’s just always hard. The best we can make of it is to get really organized and disciplined in the area he is focusing on. Right now that means the area of Virgo. Virgo rules health, habits, routines, employees and pets. Take extra care of your wee little critters, their health is precarious now. The same is true for us, we need to eat extra well. I’ve been saying for years that it’s getting harder and harder to find real food in the stores. We need to pay attention.
It also rules service industries, especially those where someone wears a uniform, as well as details, paperwork, filing systems and bureaucracy.
I was in the store the other day and overheard a man talking about going to court for a traffic ticket. It was an electronic ticket he’d gotten from a camera at a stop sign. He lost his case because he hadn’t stopped for the full 3 seconds before moving forward. He said that the court was filled with people in the exact same situation. They all lost. Saturn loves to go to court, and these kinds of no-win details are the sorts of hair splitting (and hair pulling) scenario’s Saturn will just love to heap on the world for the next 2-3 years. Oh yes, the hall monitors of the world are about to get their revenge. Consider yourself warned!
In the near future, we have until New Years Eve 2008 while he will be in Direct motion again. For the past 6 months he’s been Retrograde - which means he’s been underground and in hiding (just like the chicken he is). Now he leaves the shadow and moves forward and won’t start to gain new ground until Mid-August. Basically what that means is that he’s been laying little booby traps all over the place, mostly physical ones (Virgo is a physical sign) and we will all start to get bitten by them over the course of the next few months - up until mid August. Watch those electronic traffic cash machines - they’re getting ready to take a collective bite out of our wallets.
Booby traps are everywhere - just like this crazy sounding traffic rule. So be extra, extra, extra careful. When Saturn is in Virgo the bean counters of the world rule us all - they know it - and they laugh at us for not being able to do anything about it. It is the very definition of petty.
Saturn in Virgo can be really mean. So if you want to take revenge on someone, you can be equally mean and trap them in some meaningless detail. Tell them that they have 2 oz. too much body fat, treat her as if having a pimple is a felony worthy of prison time, hide his car keys or re-arrange your co-workers desk while they are in the other room. This should succeed in making steam come out of at least one ear. To complete the picture shred some important identity documents or even better, sell them to some guy in Russia named Vlad. (Obviously I am joking).
Honestly, I’m not a paranoid person, but the other day when I got a phone call from my merchant account asking me to fax them my statement red flags went up all over the place. If they are my Merchant account - why don’t they already HAVE my statement?? Hmm, I don’t think so.
“Fools rush in where angels fear to tread” must have been written when Saturn was in Virgo. For this cycle caution is the operative word.
First of all, until the 10th of April we are still under the shadow of the nasty Retrograde Mars that began last fall and has been ‘biting’ us all year. If you remember from my previous columns I spoke about the nastiness of the Mars opposition to Pluto and how this is one serious power struggle. Well, we are still wrestling wtih it’s after effects. If you doubt the effects of this, then just log onto any political blog or newspaper site and read the heated fights that are taking place all over the place. It is about power, and it’s not quite over. Then, in the second half of April we lose the Jupiter protection that has been helping everyone on Earth and keeping financial problems from getting really bad, which increases pressures. Be careful that you haven’t been lulled into a false sense of security lately.
Also, all through April, Pluto trines Saturn creating a relentless hunger and insatiable need which often triggers obsessions and addictions of all kinds. This month is filled with conflict and struggle, and when you factor in the late month cardinal t-square of Jupiter, Mars and Venus it is clearly a time of difficult new beginnings. Be extremely careful not to overextend yourself financially, mentally or physically from the 20th-27th when the temptation to overestimate, or too much of a good thing leads to problems, pain and injury. The good news is that new business beginnings are well favored, especially in early April, but they won’t be easy with all this turbulence. This is the kind of month where the tough really get going.
The New Moon on April 6th in Aries: Adds to the flavor of new beginnings all month. This is a good time to pick a challenge to go after - run that 10k, start your organic garden, compete in the National Foosball championships - you get the idea. Make it something big and difficult, it will be VERY good for the soul this month especially. All that matters is that it is a personal best for you. The Full Moon on April 20th in Scorpio: relentlessly cuts away any dead leaves, underbrush and other stuff that is clogging the system. Go with the flow of the Universe and snake the plumbing, cut the rot off your deck, hack off 4 inches of dead hair and generally remove that which needs to go the way of compost.
aries - You really love a challenge, especially this month. Be very careful that you don’t make things even harder on yourself than they need to be by biting off more than you can chew. Being organized may not sound exactly fun - but it is often the road to freedom, and that really IS fun. Not only will a sense of order and efficiency make you feel like you’ve got your sh*t together, but it will also actually allow you to get it together, which feels pretty amazing. You see, biting the bullet for a few short minutes is worth it after all.
taurus - You’re deep into some very complex new beginnings this month, and you are more impulsive and hasty than usual. You may just feel like you don’t have enough time to think. Well, if you don’t have time to think, then schedule some! You have a unique ability to arrange and co-ordinate different people and resources around the rules and tools of effectiveness this month - so we really need you to think! Do whatever it takes to make it happen.
gemini - Some ancient conflicts or problems that have been brewing for a long time come into sharp focus in the second half of the month. The real question is how do you deal with adverstity and stress? The saying goes: “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me” but we all know that words can really sting when used irresponsibly. Some kind of permanent break or vicious sting is totally possible, so take a few extra doses of ‘miss manners.’ It may take everything in you to stay civilized, but if you lose your cool you will only hurt yourself. Don’t do it!
cancer - In some ways you’ve got the world on a string this month, especially when it comes to business and getting your way. If it’s results you’re after, then its results you’ll get. Just be careful with that Aries Moon lending an impatient and imperious tone to things, or else you could get labled demanding or worse. Patience with others will be far more effective than pushing. This will become crystal clear when a creative outlet closes down or goes away in the second half of the month. It is patience that will open new doors.
leo - You are on a roll with business in the first half of the month especially, so enjoy it. Good moments don’t last forever, so make sure you take a snapshot of this one and burn it into your memory to for safekeeping and for future inspiration. By the tail end of the month you have found a way to tap into the dreams and fantasies of others that suits you just fine and makes you plenty of cash, just be careful of intense outside competition as well as a challenging ending at home. Illusion vs clarity is the issue.
virgo - You are seriously focused on finding new and powerful ways to express yourself this month - and all that focus is bound to lead to something. What a great time to take a writing class or study a new creative inspiration. By the end of the month you are focused on seeing results, so there’s no room for fantasy or those who live in a dream world. You might have to say goodbye to someone, just to keep your own feet planted firmly on the ground.
libra - I don’t know why I always picture you in feathers, but this month you are flapping your wings to take a maiden flight of sorts. Baby birds are vulnerable, and when you start something entirely new, so are you. Legalities and partnerships are highlighted and require your attention. Be on the lookout for aggression - both the obvious kind and the passive aggressive kind that can take you by surprise. By the end of the month you have completely changed a financial strategy, which was a very good idea.
scorpio - An old role no longer fits you, so it’s time to auditon for something new. Like an actor, you DO have the power to decide who to be. But be very careful not to overdo it. Too much drama, too much intensity, too much of too much and you only drive people away - and that’s just no way to sell tickets to the show. Give the people what they want and you’ll be a hero, if not, well you know that just leaves zero.
sagittarius - The after-echoes of power struggles that started late last year suddenly show their ugly faces again, like a bad dream you thought you’d forgotten. Some words of wisdom that once helped me change a painful pattern: if the situation keeps changing, but you keep being in the middle of it every time, then it’s not the situation! The only thing left to change is the part of you that keeps attracting the problem. The good news is that it IS possible to do this.
capricorn - You can really get a lot done this month. The heavy power struggles and weight throwing shouldn’t bother you. I consider you too much of an expert on human nature to let posing and posturing throw your game. Of course you want to be aware of problems, but you are smart enough, and the stars are helping you to use all that monkey business to push your own agenda and create an opening for a huge breakthrough.
aquarius - A relentless pursuit of new beginnings in the first half of the month leaves you needing a vacation - or at the very least a day at the spa. Try and keep your phone numbers, your car keys and you brain in a safe place, since you are in danger of misplacing all of these now. By the end of the month you need to let go of something that impacts your image, career or reputation once and for all. The change will ultimately do you good and even allow you to make the most of practical and financial support your own plans are gathering.
pisces - A new beginning in a financial arena brightens you mood in the early part of the month - a sale, a renter or other windfall. Take it easy though and don’t press your luck too far. There’s a mounting tension towards the end of April that will force you to re-evaluate a long-standing point of view or value system. You may even find yourself giving up something that you were overly attached to - like an indulgent habit or useless point of view.
The Spring Equinox takes place on March 21st - right in line with the Passover season. Many will be surprised to learn that passover is not simply a Jewish tradition. it is also a Christian and Catholic one, since it is referred to in the Bible in many places. The differences are connected to how this date is observed by the different religions.
RELIGION: The Christian symbolism is of Jesus on the Cross, then resurrected on Passover/Easter. A cross is an Astrological phenomenon.
On the 21st we have a Full Moon with the Sun in Aries and the Moon In Libra - both at 1′ and both are squaring Pluto at 1′ Capricorn. Some Astrologers are calling this a Grand Cross because of Mars’ location at 6′ Cancer. This is too wide for me to count and I call this pattern a T-square. A t-square is more difficult than a Grand Cross because it is not in balance, a grand square (cross) is hard, but balanced.
BUT - this T-square has future impact because all 3 t-square planets will eventually arrive at the 6th degree and then go through the doorway that has been opened by Mars over the past 6 months, starting in October of 07.
THE MARS DOORWAY: Action, crisis and warfare. Crisis between the genders, the ‘battle of the sexes.’ All of this was activated between the degrees of 24′ Gemini and 12′ Cancer. The activation laid the groundwork for events that will land up to 6 years into the future.
THE PIVOTAL DEGREES: We are most concerned with the degrees of 0′-8′ in the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn). These are perhaps the most important of our lifetime and on our planet because they rule the North and South poles and by extension the 4 directions. They are deeply and intimately tied to the climate, the Earth and issues of Global Warming.
Cancer: The divine Feminine - especially at the 0′ of Cancer. This is the Summer Solstice degree and the point of greatest HEAT - emotionally, psychologically, personally. During the Summer Solstice the SUN is way up North in the Tropic of Cancer, as far towards the North Pole as it ever gets.
Capricorn: The oppressor - especially at the 0′ of Capricorn. This is the Winter Solstice degree and the point of greatest darkness, coldness and difficulty. At this time the SUN is way DOWN SOUTH, as far as it ever gets, and is in the Tropic of Capricorn (it’s all starting to make sense now isn’t it?)
Libra: The Harvest - the balanced female energy, especially at 0′ Libra. This is the Fall Equinox when the SUN sits right at our equator. The day and night are of equal length, but getting shorter. The job of libra is to balance the EXTREMES.
Aries: New Life - the balanced male energy, especially at 0′Aries. This is the Spring Equinox (Passover). Again the SUN sits right at the equator and day and night are equal but getting longer. The job of Aries is to push the limits to their EXTREMES.
Today on planet Earth the Magnetic North and physical North are Not at the same place.(the same is true for South, West and East).
Why is this so? Science cannot answer that question. The guidance and spiritual messages I have been given tell me that they were once in perfect alignment. It was the instant that humans began to separate the Spiritual from the Physical side of existence that the Magnetic poles began to migrate away from ‘HOME.’
Today we experience this as greater and greater drama, conflict and upheaval as the 4 directional energies must constantly fight and re-correct in order to establish balance. This balance was once normal and natural. Today it is gone. Leaving us in a constant state of trying to find it again.
PROOF THAT THIS MEANS SOMETHING:
OK, I can’t quote emissions standards, ocean current changes or wind patterns and have it make any sense in relation to the PIVOTAL DEGREES, but what I can do, and ask you to do to prove that there is at least something going on here is to take out a raw EGG and balance it on a hard surface - even glass or metal. What is most remarkable is that it should balance in under a minute and it should balance on it’s NARROW POINTY END.

The only times in the year when this is possible is on the Spring and Fall Equinox.
Try again on the 23rd and it won’t happen. Try it today and it won’t happen (unless this is an Equinox).
Isn’t it INTERESTING that the traditional Easter Egg hunt uses cooked eggs? Easter always takes place on the First Sunday after the Full Moon in March (which is after the Equinox) and not on a fixed date.
This experiment won’t work with a cooked egg. It also won’t work on a date that follows the Equinox. Somebody, somewhere decided to move the celebration away from the time and date when the MAGIC COULD BE PROVEN.
This effects everyone in the areas of: Traditions, Mother/Father social roles, Partnership and self vs. other in all personal involvements.
It is no accident that this year we are witnessing a woman running for president. It represents the PIVOTAL DEGREES IN ACTIVATION.
I am NOT making a political statement! A woman becoming president has many more layers of meaning than anyone has yet addressed out loud. I will go into this more in later articles.
What does it mean? Within hours of the actual equinox the MOON will square Mars causing conflict and tension in relationships and especially connected to young man and Mother figure archetypes. About 3 days later The Sun will Square Mars creating conflict between that which is traditional and governed by older men VS the archetype of the young man or warrior.
Finally in 3-6 years (this aspect happens 3 times) we have a conflict between Pluto in opposition to the MARS degree. This is a conflict of pure raw power and pits group power - the kind found in Corporations VS the young man or warrior.
OVERALL this signals a period of greater and greater conflict and warfare on the planet, one which is based in the struggles between the sexes and the desire for power. Corporations will figure prominently in the designs to take over power and control. I DON’T CARE WHO IS PRESIDENT. These things will take place regardless of who sits in the White House. But for the record you can read my Presidential Prediction article, which has caused some heavy debate.
Within 3-6 years Corporations may take over the powers of Government, and even if they don’t yet succeed - they will be trying to.
EVIDENCE? Open up a newspaper. Look at the collapsing Mortgage industries. JP Morgan is bailing out Bear Stearns at this very moment. The Government is almost a bystander in all of this. Who will have the power in the end? The Government will bail out the corporations first, before individuals, if they even have to money to do so. This is what they did in the 80’s with the S&L fiasco. Who does it give power to? The corporations.
What does this mean for you? Only a private reading will be able to give you those answers.

March starts with a repeat of the hair-raising Mars-Pluto opposition on the Solstice Degrees of 0-3 Cancer and Capricorn. This is like some sort of major cosmic battle between passion and control, warrior action VS domination, creativity VS destruction and even life VS death. Yeah, it’s that dramatic.
Note to self: Avoid addictive relationships, compulsive behavior and all the other ways that we humans hide from our divine nature and instead fight for power amongst ourselves.
Beginning Feb 22 and through ALL OF MARCH: Venus and Mercury travel together through Aquarius/Pisces - crossing Chiron, Sun and Neptune. Let the dance continue! My question for you is just this; are you doing the ‘whirling dervish’ hippie dance or do you prefer something more structured? Either way, family matters, and long term arrangements are once again the subject of the day. And weather you prefer chaotic inspiration or orderly time management this is a truly inspiring creative moment. Art, language, speeches, and fulfiling connections to one’s deepest values are possible now. Think of it as if you are able to wipe the slate clean and bathe in the waters of love that fill your soul; and from this place you can return renewed and re-invigorated. This whole cycle is such a blessed time for love and family that I fully expect to see a wave of pregnancies and weddings (engagements) to sweep the land. As busy as life is, there’s always time for love under the stars!
The Full Moon on March 21 in Libra asks us to release our attachments to partnerships and the roles that we have gotten stuck in. It may not mean the end of a partnership (or maybe it does?) but it definitely means that there is something to let go of as far as personal roles and our approach to those relationships. The New Moon in Pisces on the 7th opens up the opportunity to achieve a sense of spiritual connection, service and devotion and to be willing to sacrafice self indulgent motives for the greater good, for our relationships and in service to the needs of our spirit. Such a call to spiritual renewal within relationships almost always brings it’s opposite to the surface.
aries - You’re on fire for most of the month, dispite the reappearance of conflict you thought you’d buried around New Years. Ok, you’ll just have to plow through these volatile waters, but you’ve got what it takes to succeed. Power-struggles and even elements of obsession and compulsion are on the table for you to deal with once and for all. Any of these: anger, obsessive sexuality, depression or hotheadedness are all imbalances of your life-force that you are being given the chance to correct - don’t waste it!
taurus - You’re getting the chance to connect to a broader group which is rewarding for you, but it leaves your head spinning. There are tons of opportunities to express your creative gifts, your innovations, your ideas and the general fertility of your mind. Wow, it’s almost overwhelming, that’s why you need to be involved with this team of people to help you - see how it all works out?
gemini - This is a month for radical ideas to get expressed, and you are somehow in the middle of it all. Are they your ideas, your words or are you merely the mouthpiece for them? It doesn’t matter because you are about to see things get truly spicy and unpredictable. As the stakes rise, so does the heat, and you are right there, standing next to the hottest burner. Just be sure to take care of yourself and get out when the heat gets dangerous.
cancer - Get ready to see a wave of change. Whole tribes of people, whole teams of the like-minded are banding together now, and this makes for some very stormy seas. You can’t expect to navigate your boat easily in the midst of these tempest tossed seas. Your best bet is to head for a safe (and solid) piece of land and set up camp there for as long as it takes. You might want to bring along a few of your favorite friends and start a vegetable garden, you could be here for while.
leo - Fantasy, selfishness, power-struggles and all forms of bullying fill your world this month. You aredirectly involved with this whole issue of who’s right, who’s better, who’s doing more, etc, etc. I swear that these people all look like adults, and yet they are acting like 2 year olds. How much of this do you want to expose yourself to? There is a certain point when the captain has to be sure that he’s got a crew he can trust. My question is just this, can you trust yours? Maybe it’s time to cut out the dead rot.
virgo - An intense focus on your daily affairs and routines has you setting up some-kind of long term plan and strategy. Maybe it is a new business venture, maybe a new health program, or maybe you’ve just decided to plant a vegitable garden. No matter what it is, you have one eye on your group/family and another on how to keep them strong as a team. Whatever you are planning, surely has them in mind.
libra - The pressures early in the month are hard to take. You CAN handle them, but don’t get involved with anyone (or any situation) that cranks you up or pushes you to blow your top, it is not worth it.
