What is a Solar Eclipse

February 25th, 2008 by auracle · No Comments

The Solar Eclipse Happens twice a year and each one has a different impact Astrologically. The Solar Eclipse may be partial or total depending on where you are on the planet. You can get a list of all the Eclipse’s and where they will be felt at NASA. The location also determines it’s strength on your Horoscope. According to Astrology the more complete the Eclipse the more powerful it is. If you are viewing a total eclipse then you are in the area where it is MOST potent. The influence of the Eclipse is felt for up to 3 months ahead and 3 months after it takes place, but most powerfully during the two weeks on either side of it.

During the Solar Eclipse it is the image of the Moon that covers that of the Sun.

The Solar Eclipse always has an impact on Leo people because the Sun rules Leo. The Solar Eclipse also impacts Cancer because the Moon rules Cancer. The actual aspects that each Eclipse makes to other planets is what determines it’s impact. For example a Solar Eclipse that connects with Mars will have some relationship with warfare, sports, competitions or bodybuilding (among other things). On the other hand, if the Eclipse is impacting Neptune it will influence the gasoline market, minerals, gold, the housing market and many other business areas. Connected to Mercury it will impact short trips, journeys, conversations, news, sales and the use of words. This is why every Eclipse is different.

Finally, to understand what the Eclipse is doing for you personally, you want to see which of YOUR planets are being impacted. You will experience the character of the Eclipse (which planets it connects to) felt in the area of your OWN planets that are effected. For example: if there is a Solar Eclipse connected to Mercury then the EVENT will relate to news, communication or messages (fax, phone, e-mail etc). If it connects to YOUR Mars, it could make you mad, cause you to feel sexual attraction, make you feel competitive or make you want to get in a fight. These are just a few ideas about how the Solar Eclipse might impact you.

Australia apologizes to the Natives

February 16th, 2008 by auracle · No Comments

I found this incredible story about the Australian Government apologizing to the Native Aboriginals for the treatment they’d been given. What’s great also about this post is that Australian astrolger Kingsley posts the charts.

Here is one of them:

Eclipse and Australia charts

The apology came on Feb 13 under a beautiful Kite pattern. The Eclipse happened a few days before on the 7th. With a Retrograde mercury crossing the Eclipse degree, after just having passed Neptune which made this a perfect time for old wounds to be examined, and put to rest.

How the Eclipse’s really work.

February 1st, 2008 by auracle · No Comments

This month we have two eclipses, starting with the one on the 7th – a Solar Eclipse in Aquarius.  The Lunar Eclipse in Virgo takes place later in the month on the 21st. To get a more scientific eclipse explanation check out NASA and get the whole technical skinny on it.

Since every eclipse involves the Sun & Moon they automatically impact Leo and Cancer people. But the real story is always told in the ASPECTS and not every eclipse will aspect every person – thank god! Otherwise our lives would be nonstop endless drama! That’s what direct Eclipse hits tend to do to us! So if you’d like to see what the current pair of Eclipse’s is doing for (or to) you have a report done, that will give you an overview of the 6 month trend – with all the specific aspects – you are experiencing.

Later this year we have two more Eclipses, a Total Solar Eclipse on August 1  in Leo and Lunar Eclipse August 16 in Aquarius. To really understand the Eclipse’s we need to pay attention to the Moon’s Nodes and Saros Series of the Eclipse pattern. The Nodes are also called the Head of the Dragon and the Tail of the Dragon and they represent the souls journey towards spiritual development (Head of the Dragon) or away from it and towards darkness. Collectively on the date of an Eclipse the Head and Tail of the dragon show us where we are all either collectively moving towards a dream or aspiration vs. how and where we are all collectively delving into our darker or shadowy nature.

You can see where every eclipse takes place here if you want to take a sightseeing trip!
